Originally, I was planning for the Episode 1 Release Date thread to be posted around late September or early October.
However, given that we have some new info on the Disc having a possible/placeholder date of releasing on November 15th, I think another mod or I might make the Episode 1 Waiting Thread sometime in the next few weeks.
Possible dates that the thread could be made on include the 13th (alongside Minecraft Ep 8 and Batman's mobile release), the 20th (alongside Batman Ep 2), or the 27th (the end of the month, and super close to when I was wanting to move over to the new thread anyways).
Me too. If I was to take a guess, I would think perhaps we'll hear a little more sometime after Minecraft's finale, which isn't long now. So… more I dunno, maybe few weeks after that finishes? We've gotta hear something in October at least.
I keep thinking how the episodes always have those fancy cool pictures with the name of the episodes to them. We haven't actually gotten one for Season 3 yet and it's killing me. I hope we get to see that closer to the release date, because I really want to seeeee it! T.T

Since amazon says the season pass disc (might) come on the 15th episode one might come out earlier because telltale usually releases there season pass disc after episode one just like batman and minecraft story mode.
It definitely seems possible, and if it's true, then not only will we get the season premiere of TWD that week, but the release of Metallica's new album a few days after. That's going to be a great week.
May be earlier....that is the ps3 retail....those are usually later...though given that this is the Flagship product...It could be a major unified release.

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has entered into a worldwide distribution deal with Telltale Games for upcoming episodic games Batman- The Telltale Series and The Walking Dead Season 3, the publisher has announced.
Batman – The Telltale Series launches as a digital download this August on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC/Mac, and Mobile Devices, while Telltales The Walking Dead Season 3 has an expected release date for later this year.
After its digital launch Batman – The Telltale Series becomes available to purchase at retailers across North America starting September 13th as a special Season Pass Disc, including the first of five episodes in the season, with players granted access to the subsequent four episodes as they become available for download via online updates.

It would be so badass if they did that ^-^ You guys may think im crazy for sayin this but i think this is more than just any old video game.... playing TWD has been a emotional rollercoaster for me....it is really like i have had this bond with everyone in it....especially clementine....ive felt like i was OBLIGATED to keep her safe...yes...ive done things im not proud in front of her...but she will be more determined and strong. Many people are worried about S3 not being good...but im not worried...i feel like this series is going to be about hope....thinking that they have gone though enough loss and heartbreak....and wanting to make a new world...to rebuild...to love again without the feeling of them being eaten or shoot at....Seeing Clem grow from a small defenseless naive little girl to a one finger-less independent strong mother-fuckin BADASS TEENAGER!!!!!!!! XD Sorry for the swearing...(IDK If that is allowed sorry blinder) IS JUST THE COOLEST THANG EVA!!!! They have hinted at a save import system which will somehow accommodate people playing across different consoles this time around for New Frontier.
