Hyped to be playing it on a system I own without sacrificing my PC~
Telltale's award-winning and chart-dominating The Walking Dead series returns with its third season - "A New Frontier". Continuing the emotionally powerful story-telling seen in Seasons One and Two, we return to one of gaming's most favored characters - Clementine - a young girl who has grown up amid the horrors of the zombie apocalypse. We see her story through the eyes of Javier, a young man determined to find the family taken from him, and via playable flashbacks from Clem's past telling the story of how she came to be on a quest for vengeance. In A New Frontier, players will discover what the world is like when civilization begins to rebuild, and what sacrifices it will take to make society work again.
Uh, guys, have you read the gamespot description?

I'd take it with a grain of salt, but still...
That seems to indicate that we only play as Clementine during flashbacks, at least during the first episode. Hm. People probably aren't going to like that.
find the family taken from him
telling the story of how she came to be on a quest for vengeance
I think these are some pretty interesting lines. Seems to give the motivations for their "common enemy".

Double post, ack. Might as well give it some purpose.
Taking it with a grain of salt is a good idea. The episode is just over 2 months away and things theoretically join. Plus, you know, it's not officially from Telltale, so you know.

Another interesting line.

I'm not surprised; they seemed to be strongly hinting at that being the theme of the game during PAX, Comic Con, etc.

Some people knew about the flashbacks. Including me, but we didn't bother to send it to a mod. I don't have many details to send them to a mod, I need the files first.

Yep! Amazon has also put up a listing previously as well (as you can read above in the merged threads).
Same date as the amazon one. I think we might be getting the episode, November 1st digitally.

I'm both excited and concerned now.

A mod double posting
Ironic, eh?
I'm not surprised; they seemed to be strongly hinting at that being the theme of the game during PAX, Comic Con, etc.
It's one of the more main themes recently in the comics. Nice to see them tying them in together closer, both story wise but also theme wise.

It kind reminds me of Carl in All Out War. We finally get some non-determinant blood.
When I found this it was the begging of stember and it made me over hyped! But then again I knew I had to wait 2 months .
