You just don't fucking GET IT.
Lily I like as a character, but she grew increasingly hard, then she snapped and killed an innocent (carly) in cold blood because she pretty much wanted her dead.
I'm pretty sure Lilly didn't want Carley dead (unless that's the "Die For My Ship" mentality kicking in). Sure, I kinda got the vibe that they don't really get along but her killing Carley came down to the fact that she was sorta out for blood and Carley got mouthy at the wrong moment.
Arvo was twitchy when encountered at first, while attempting to steal from his group (hiding medical supplies),
Where did this stealing from his group thing come from? Considering that bag was full of medical supplies for his sister, I sincerely doubt that's what he was doing unless he wanted to keep her a steady supply away from the other two.

So he makes up a story about clem and jane stealing from him (most likely a writing snafu, i think it has been patched based on what is written on the wiki) to get his group (whom he was stealing from when you met him) to kill your group. exiling him would be what he deserved at this point (like Lily), but he then went on to shooting clem while escaping despite not having any reason to.

larry, couldn't wait to kill him ,lilly that bitch willl get whats coming to her if shes in season 3,and if i ever see that old fuck vernon… more hes gonna wish the cancer had got him, when im through with him, mike,Bonnie, arvo, theres a special place in hell for them.I also enjoyed jane and carvers death immensely, i hope that ill be able to see jane as a walker in season 3 to have the option to kill her myself. that fat bitch norma and that skinny piece of shit Randall i enjoyed their deaths as well.oh yeah and those fucking cannibals from the St john farm, yeah fuck them to. lets not forget that bitch who tried to rob clemetine in the bathroom what was her name Michelle, and last but not least of the people i hate, the stranger not only did this crazy fuck harrass us at every turn but he also got lee bitten if only if there was an option to torture him.
I feel like Carver (who raped Rebecca) should be on more lists than the Liabilities™ and Arvo.
That said, the only character I can really think of hating is Dee. I get that she wanted to keep Leland from cheating on her with Bonnie, but killing Bonnie and refusing to hear her out (especially if Bonnie's played so that she doesn't have something going with Leland) is really just, ugh.
It USED to be Michelle because she killed Omid, but after I realized it was pretty much an accident, I decided to give her some slack.

IN THEIR DEFENSE yeah Randall was a (very well written) piece of shit. But Norma only wanted to keep Monroe safe. All she did was to protect her community and her stupid asshole brother. She didn't even attempted to hurt the Fairbanks! That's something faaaaaaaar better that what other TWD villians would do. The only thing she did wrong was to kill poor Zachary (who looked like he was going to shoot Sam in the shoulder, a wound like that isn't fatal if it's fixed at time), but she was pissed because de killed her brother. I would do the same if anyone hurts my asshole little sister (you little piece of shit, little sister).

Agreed. That must be some really good kool-aid....
Also, I love how Arvo is listed separately.
That said, the only character I can really think of hating is Dee.
I understand why she felt like she had to do it, being married and all, but trying to get Bonnie killed(both before and after the cornfield) was going too far.
It USED to be Michelle because she killed Omid, but after I realized it was pretty much an accident, I decided to give her some slack.
Which is why I decided include her as an example despite legitimately liking her myself. I can perfectly understand not liking her, what with her being a bully AND a thief. But, then again, so are plenty of other characters whether good or bad(namely Clementine(oh the irony), Kenny, Becca, Carver, Troy, Jane, and Buricko). "You gotta be mean to keep goin' out here." And she wasn't wrong, now was she?
And I dunno why, but I dislike Vince.
Probably because he's very plain personality wise. The one trait that gets highlighted is that he's protective of the people around him(whether it be his brother, Danny/Justin, the other 400 Days characters, or his coworkers under Carver) enough to do some pretty condemning things (killing that guy despite his claims that he didn't even know his brother, blowing off Justin/Danny's foot so he and Danny/Justin can escape despite clearly feeling remorseful afterwards, keeping his gun trained on Taavia until he's sure she wants to help, deciding to report Taavia to Carver so no one else will be blamed for smoking). I think that's enough to be likable, but not necessarily enough to be interesting.

Really there was never any indication that Carver did. If Telltale wanted to imply that Carver was a rapist, I'm quite sure they'd have made it more obvious, considering there's no hints of it from either him or Rebecca throughout the entire game.

I did consider that, though that does become a problem if Alvin gets headshot. But a line like that is typically pretty incriminating given the subject matter.
"What the fuck are you looking at, bitch? Don't act like you didn't enjoy every second of it."
I never really looked at that line as an indication she was raped, more that Carver was taunting her for having a consensual affair with him, yet, despite that, she, like everyone else, was willing to just let him be murdered in front of everyone. It was him trying to remind her that she had no right to take a moral high ground against him when she'd previously had sex with him.
From how I looked at it, Rebecca had an affair with Carver at some point, but ended up regretting it deeply later. And like I said before, if Telltale wanted to imply that Carver had done such a thing, I'd say they'd have made it quite clear.

Huh. Too bad he's so full of shit otherwise, because that might've been a sign of ethics.
Admittedly, the problem with Carver from day 1 was that, even knowing that the villain's name was Carver before I played the game, it was pretty obvious he was bad news just by looking at him, with his scruffy middle-aged dirty forest ranger look. The fact that he tried to suggest that Clementine shouldn't trust the Cabin Group, however valid it may have been at the time(though admittedly, this was only moments after I decided that I genuinely liked Sarah), felt a little too convenient at the time, so I decided to judge how trustworthy they were for myself while keeping in mind that either of them could betray Clementine at any moment. And while I admit that I was a bit surprised none of the Cabin Group tried to do so, my impressions were confirmed when Carver was hauling the group to his domain with his (predictable) true colors revealed.
While he seemed to have legitimate points about a number of things, I'm not really inclined to believe a guy who immediately killed someone (scholarly nice guy Walter, who just had his heart broken and his trust betrayed twice, for the record) the first chance he got and smugly brought up that Alvin(the only one I completely liked from the start) killed this 'George' person while taking him hostage and pointing a gun to his head, without us ever learning the context behind it outside of George being Carver's friend.
"What the fuck are you looking at, bitch? Don't act like you didn't enjoy every second of it."

Not taking Kenny's side here(especially in this particular situation), but I'm pretty sure Ben being suicidal by that point was more stress and guilt on his part. He made it clear to Lee that he feels like he's lying just by looking Kenny in the eye and wanted to tell him because he felt he owed him that much. Him revealing it was due to a self-deprecating panic attack from blaming himself for everything that goes wrong when really he just made some very poor landslide choices out of paranoia(the pills, the hatchet).
Kenny exploding and trying to kick his ass unfortunately got Brie killed because he decided that kicking Ben out of the group was more important than getting out of there. Ben clearly just didn't care at this point since he (both rightfully and excessively) felt that he should have let himself by excluded for everyone's safety. Walker!Oberson grabbing him from behind necessitated Lee's help at the moment since Ben was the only one still in the building, probably dragging his feet despite being afraid of the horde for the group's sake.
Now, Kenny outright suggesting Lee just drop Ben was not only a bit shady for him but also kinda callous if Lee made a point about saving as many people as he could. I mean kicking him out of the group for what he caused to happen to Katjaa and Duck was one thing, actually expecting Lee to outright kill him really is another (kinda like Lilly, now that I think about it). Ben himself, in a strange way, actually has the moral high ground(pun intended) at this point: he knows what he's responsible for is terrible and, rather than worry about saving his own skin for the fifth time, he leaves it up to the group to decide what they should do, even trying to convince Lee to drop him and continue leading the group to safety and taking care of Clementine. Too bad the fall doesn't kill him, as I accidentally found out on my second playthrough. Oops.
Larry was the first Season 1 group member to come to mind because he is an asshole, a bully, and a hardass. He's there to give you a hard time but he does the job well enough that I can occasionally sit back and enjoy his lesser(or better) traits.. However, I'd be lying if I said he didn't crack me up from time to time and his apparent protectiveness and love for Lily made it clear that there really was charm coming out of his ass. So, he is a character I actually quite liked despite his flaws.
Michelle is one of the characters I previously stated that I would've like to have seen more of, Omid's accident notwithstanding, in a Season some consider to be full of wasted characters. Debatably the most complex antagonist (if you don't count Jane/Kenny) and a One scene wonder, she felt like she could have been Season 2s Jolene: unapologeticly thuggish and yet not without a few sympathetic traits and a story to tell. One of the things I like about her over a lot of other characters is that she's [one of, if not] the first black antagonists we've had in the games(never watched the show). When I drew that picture in posted in the Fan Art thread, Michelle was actually the one I was the most conflicted about since I knew going in that it would be tricky to get her street facade down pat. It's a little half and half, honestly. Yes, Norma should've put more effort into restraining Randall and keeping things peaceful when he's involved, but it's also clear that she didn't approve of his ways to the point that not only did she trust Zachary more to handle certain things for her, but she also promises that she'll deal with him in an angry tone if informed about his murder of John. Please stop linking your threads everywhere. People will come there naturally, I've even come by a few times and loved reading what you and everyone else were saying. Saying "Care to go into detail?" and linking your thread is actually quite a turn off from them, when in reality people quite like it without the coaxing. No offense though, I genuinely love the thread and I have nothing against you as a person, I just have an issue with unnecessary self-advertising.
Now, as for going into detail. Kenny is not a bad guy, he is however a flawed character, and that often holds him back. Kenny is a loving father, who, while makes stupid decisions, always makes them for the better of the people he loves. Even if he tends to treat those loved ones like horse shit. Kenny is poorly written, and his character literally seems to be the meaning of bipolar. For example, at one point he'll admit he's wrong and help where he's needed, but at another he'll be an arrogant fuck and think he's in the right. It's very distracting and when you're trying to make a likable character, you NEVER want your character to have a changing personality. If you're stuck with a character that changes their personality every five seconds (and said personalities are unlikable) then you're not going to want to support them.
As for Becca. Becca is just... I really fucking hate Becca. She is everything I hate about characters in video games. She took the worst elements of characters I love. She took the emotionless and serious reactions of Cortana, the out of character heartlessness of Heather Mason, the EDGE of Dante and the ear raping voice of Cheryl Mason in the first Silent Hill.

It's cool. The reason I got into that habit was because I just went back to edit down those two topics not too long ago so that their original purpose gets the focus and contribution they deserve. Of course, that kinda requires linking to them since they are starting to get old and their's not much in them to act as a real hook outside of the editted down description. However, I do realize that they don't really have as much of a niche purpose with this thread being around--on my advice, no less!
Same. Few characters can actually pull off edginess.
It's not so much that I don't think it shouldn't be done at all; it's that I feel that making Clementine "edgy" is one of several things that came at the cost of making sure she is a fully realized character and an effective protagonist in her own right.

There's pretty much no characters I truly hate or dislike in this series, in all honesty.
Except one. Danny St John. Just fuck that guy.

He's one of the only characters that as far as I'm concerned has no redeeming qualities whatsoever, and doesn't even have any funny lines or an entertaining personality to make up for being an asshole, like Larry or Randall do. He's one of the few characters that really got under my skin when I first played the game, and I really don't regret killing him at all. I only regret that Clementine had to see it.

I understand why she felt like she had to do it, being married and all, but trying to get Bonnie killed(both before and after the cornfield) was going too far.
"What the fuck are you looking at, bitch? Don't act like you didn't enjoy every second of it."
He could've been blackmailing her.
I did consider that, though that does become a problem if Alvin gets headshot. But a line like that is typically pretty incriminating given the subject matter.
I wouldn't exactly thank her on stealing RV because if train hadn't worked....
The Stranger.
Kenny, the man responsible for many deaths, many tears and driving Ben to the point of almost suicide in the Bell Tower.
Oops.
Love to Hate examples just for fun:
This thread i am sorry i just see it as a way to start an argument sadly.
I mean no offence
cookie for killing Bitch Carley, right? Also, thanks to her we got rid of that stupid RV. And an apologize by Kenny's part for brutally murdering in front of her the only familia she had. RIGHT!?
I actually chose Doug, on my playthrough not Carly and hated Lilly way before she killed Doug because she was an overbearing bitch .I just hated her more after she killed Doug. And if I can remember correctly that piece of shit Larry tried to kill lee in the first fucking episode, so it wasn't had for me to drop a saltlick on his ugly ass face.
I don't know what your talking about, norma was just as bad randall she knew that motherfucker was sick but she let him run loose anyway, and kill everybody that stood in her way because she din't have the balls to do it herself so I blame both of them
Is that sarcasm?
It's a little half and half, honestly. Yes, Norma should've put more effort into restraining Randall and keeping things peaceful when he's involved, but it's also clear that she didn't approve of his ways to the point that not only did she trust Zachary more to handle certain things for her, but she also promises that she'll deal with him in an angry tone if informed about his murder of John. So, it's more like she loves her brother for who he is and doesn't mind using that if it'll help keep things in order, but really doesn't approve of how carried away he gets at times.
Care to go into detail?
Actually, I originally thought about not linking it with my comment at first, but then thought "Hey, I haven't looked into this in a while, so what the hey!" Sorry bout that, love!
This got a pretty big laugh outta me.
Yeah, I'm not really a fan of the whole Edgy!Clementine thing myself.
Okay, bud, may I direct you to the wikia's character page for your pictures? Because the ones you have now take up like 40% of the page.
I clicked on the link, didn't work, I'll just take them down.
No problem at all! Just me sharing my thoughts on it! Again, nothing against you and I love the thread. That's just how I feel on it and such.
Devil May E D G E
Same. Few characters can actually pull off edginess.
It's not so much that I don't think it shouldn't be done at all; it's that I feel that making Clementine "edgy" is one of several things that came at the cost of making sure she is a fully realized character and an effective protagonist in her own right.
What are you talking about?
yeah but thats what im talking about. just because you love someone dosent mean you just let them do horrible shit to people and yeah she did disapprove of some of his actions but it still din't stop her from using him to do her dirty work.
Hmm, well, don't really have anyone who'd fit here?
Carver.
Jane, Joyce.
Lilly (though after Larry's death it turned more into pity), Christa, Pete, Carlos.
Larry, I just couldn't bring myself to care much about him.
I'm asking if it was sarcasm. Just that.
no it wasin't sarcasm
Uh...you wanna explain those there, pal?
The whole St. Johns family was unredeemable. The depths of depravity that their characters sunk to, all in the name of survival, was completely sick.
How do you figure that?
