Batman Season Pass Disc Problem [Volunteer Moderator edit: Issue resolved]
Hi folks. I want to know if somebody of you has problem with disc version of Batman Telltale Game Series on Xbox One.
I installed first episode from disc and in in-game menu,chapter two is like purchased but not downloaded,but when I press download button in in-game menu it opens Xbox store where it requires additional payment. What should I do.
Please help somebody.

The issue has now been resolved.
Update: The issue has now been resolved. To install the episode, please make sure that your disc is inserted into the console and login to an Xbox Live account. Episode 2 can be installed from the episodes menu.

[Xbox One] I have the Season Pass Disc but Episode 2 is showing for purchase

So I'm not the only one with this issue? It is like every single owner of disc version has this problem?
I have been chatting with official Xbox Support on Twitter and they haven't found a solution.
Seeing as how Episode 2 came out on current-gen consoles yesterday, this will hopefully be fixed whenever last-gen owners get the next episode.
We just have to keep waiting until the fix is made. Who knows when that will be. Hopefully it will happen before episode 3 comes out. Its too bad they don't fix the game problems as quickly as they take down any discussion on these boards about the season pass disc not working. I'm sure it will only be a matter of time before they take down this discussion thread too.
I have the same problem. For some reason The Xbox Store doesn't recognise the Disc Season Pass, which should be the same as the "Episode 2-5" Season Pass.
I just wish they could give some sort of update now that its been 2 days
I'm running with the same problem. The Xbox Store isn't recognizing the Season Disc Pass from the Disc and can't download Episode 2. It wants me to make a purchase for some reason. I hope this get resolved soon.

It is only an issue for disc owners, right? Those who purchased the season pass via the marketplace aren't having this issue?
If that is the case, I'm curious if retailers would allow returns due to a defective product....
Though, now that I think about it, it probably would not be worth it as most retailers only allow exchanges for the same product if the item is defective... Which definitely wouldn't help in this case.
If anything, Telltale could possibly give disc owners a code to "buy" episode two.
It´s sad that we´ve been waiting extra time just to get disc version just for more waiting. I don´t know why it isnt fixed yet. All they have to do is switch not working disc season pass to classis season pass.
I find the whole situation a bit of an insult, really. Ive essentialy paid extra to have physical copy of the game (having already bought episode 1 when it came out), but yet Im having to wait longer for what surely should be an easy fix. Both Microsoft and Telltale should be ashamed of themselves
Same problem. It seems to think I don't own Season Pass despite showing that I do, so it's offering me the digital copy for $19.99 or asking $4.99 for Episode 2. I paid $10 extra for this?

i still have not finished Episode one because it is still unplayable in my opinion. - I am playing on XBox one and I got the complete season
I am usually against pre-orders and season passes of any kind, but I hava made exeptions for Telltale, because I have felt that I know what I will get. Sure the episodes can be delayed sometimes, but they have always delivered. But with Batman episode 2 crashing and with bugs in the choices, I'll probably wait to buy the episodes until I have seen reviews and heard what people think about it for future series.
What is taking so long to fix this issue? Why not just give us a code to download the digital season pass off the Xbox Store?

It seems like the problems get worse with each title release. I always play both the 360 and the xb1 versions of these games. The wolf among us and GOT were horrendus on the 360. I am at the point where I just want my damn money back for the game and they can even have the disc back. I will not be playing one game on the 360 and might not purchase another one of these games again. The "support team" is horrible, I sent a message and got a blanket statement back that didnt even pertain to the original email I sent them...
Truly, this is starting to get ridiculous. I can see no legitimate reason for this to not already be solved. At the very least they should just give disc owners a code to download the season. It's obviously available for purchase.
I wrote them an email and they responded: "We have now identified the root cause of this issue, and we are working with our partners at Microsoft to implement a fix as soon as possible" . So update is ready we need to wait just for Microsoft to upload it to their servers or so.
NOW its says purchased for epsiode 2 but coming soon :P

This is an outrage because, you buy the disk for a game that isn't remotely finished,was 1/5 now 2/5, and you can't even access the content. To say this is a cash grab is a understatement, all there concerned about is how much it's making rather then patching the mess they've made. Call me crazy but could you not have released a game with all 5 episodes on or provide a response saying when it will be fixed
its been 3 days I hope we get some compensation for the wait. A free physical copy of MineCraft Story Mode Complete Edition would be nice Do you guys not have QA people for these problems before you ship out the disc. I figure you would have fully tested as much as possible... especially if the season pass will work or not. It is an essential part of the season pass disc that it operates correctly. I hope this gets fixed today.
Just bought the game too, on disc, and I can't download episode two. Very annoyed.
I think it won´t be fixed today because it´s weekend . Yeah we should get some compensation for that but don´t expect physical copy, it isn´t how it works. Digital code for full season of Tales from the Borderlands would be fair XD. Sooooo...I hope somebody from Talltela staff will read this
Yeah, and what is worse I hadn´t been able to find if it is problem for everybody or just my problem. Because I tried to find help on Google didn´t find link to some article about the issue so I´ve made this thread.

Call down dude xD I have already contacted Xbox Support via Twitter( they only know that Telltale are awared of issue and are working on fix) and Telltale Support via twitter( I quote: Hello, I am very, very sorry for the inconvenience.
We are still working very hard to resolve this issue. We do not have an ETA for the fix at the moment........-it is email from yesterday)
I already own physical copy of TFTB and I already finished it. I really want the complete edition of MineCraft Story Mode... But I want to own the physical disc of it for Xbox. One. High hopes they fix this today. Its killing me.

I went ahead and bought the 2nd episode, I can't wait for you guys anymore to fix this issue. I going to be asking to be reimbursed for the 4.99 plus tax. This is ridiculous TellTale!!!!
I'm sure a lot of disc owners have gotten fed up waiting, and have just bought the episode that they should already own. Sadly, I would imagine that the only 'reimbursment' you or they are likely to recieve will be another blanket-statement email along the lines of "We're sorry for the inconvenience". I hope I'm wrong but it doesn't seem like they care too much about their customers, at least not enough. It's unfortunate.

What if this is the dark purpose of this disc season pass problem just to testify what we gamers do. Either wait way to long( in America since 13th Sebtember!!!!!!!!!) or buy it and give extra money to Telltale.Probably not XD, but they really should give us one full season from another game as compensation though
They dont have eta for fix. How is that even possible. It is easy to fix problem. God damn. No ETA!
