What Lee Would have done!

  • All depends on player really, just like Clementine. They could have been good friends, worst enemies or somewhere in the middle. MIght as well ask what the player would do rather than what the character Lee would do. You'd probably get the same or very similar results.

    what lee would actually do
    scene goes out normally
    Kenny and jane begin fighting
Lee comes in separates both of them
time freezes like your usual telltale choice
    [Restrain Kenny]
    [Restrain Jane]
    [Knock Jane and Kenny out]
and then the fight would be over.
Clementine and lee wait for them to calm down.
They would find the baby because of the noise he makes .
Final choice of the game would be deciding where to go
    [Search for Wellington]
    [Return to Howe s]
if you pick search wellington Depending on how your relationship with Jane was she would either Leave the group and go back to being a loner or go with you since Kenny always stays with a group he would most likely have an anger outburst but go back with them to Howe s if you picked that. ((Lee wouldnt kill kenny because he wouldnt need to as he s Stronger than Clem resulting in him being able to overpower Both Jane and Kenny effectivelly stopping the fight))

  • 2014 was so uncivilized

The tales were true; the monsters are real!

2014 was so uncivilized.....hmmm I guess these arguments are old....can not wait for s3.

  • So glad makmak600 is banned! Such a difficult person to speak with, with all due respect to his English. Also an extreme Kenny hater made it harder to discuss things given he only saw one point of view

  • The Janiacs were a hell of a lot worse back in 2014, that's for sure.

  • Depends on the player, of course Lee had his own personality, but we made his choices, his quotes, we don't know what a NPC Lee would be like, because we don't know if he would base his choices by being rational or emotional, loyal or tough, impulsive or cool headed...

  • Wow, 2 years have really flown past xD

Apparently 2014 was the Dark Ages. Good to know. I suppose that I'll try to make a serious contribution to this thread. Pardon any extra stupidity in this comment versus my typical posts, for I am currently delirious.

I was thinking that there could be multiple different outcomes if this decision was made with Lee. Considering that Lee was a relatively strong man, I wouldn't consider it impossible for him to break up the strife. Maybe one option would be to just basically get the two off of each other, omitting any possible casualties. I also feel like there should be some way for Lee to get Kenny killed during the fight. The reason why I mention Kenny here instead of Jane was because of his more obvious issues. I'll use a Carlos quote here, that while not directed at Kenny, seems fitting. "He is becoming a danger to the group." While others could not feel this way, it's very hard to argue that his actions weren't causing any turmoil within the group. Intentionally, no. But, he wasn't exactly the most stable person. Of course this could increase the rift between Kenny and Jane fanatics, and you also have to deal with the fact that Kenny would likely have the combat advantage, rendering Jane killing him a little strange. Additionally, if Jane was the one killing Kenny, then the whole conflict is extremely one-sided. (She would both instigate the fight and escalate the fight) So I guess the option here could be to "stop" Kenny before he hurts Jane, but then this makes Lee look like a real ass if the other option is to break up the fight. If they could make the wording more ambiguous, maybe they could stray from this particular issue. For example, instead of making it clear that you're saving both Kenny and Jane, make it sound like there is a chance you couldn't break things up. (Make it seem like you couldn't save Jane in time if you choose to get in the way?) This option would give Lee a chance to rid himself of Kenny in a slightly less barbaric way. I feel like doing things with Kenny would make things more emotional for most players, considering both you and Lee had been with him since the beginning, only to see him arrive at this point. I will touch upon my additional problems with this entire paragraph during my next point, so please stay with me here.

After the fight is over, you will get different branches depending on what decision you made. If you got Kenny killed, you now have the option of where to go next with Jane. Lee can choose between Howe's Hardware and Wellington. (Leave Jane?) If you saved both of them, you can make the decision to leave one party, both parties, or neither parties behind. Lee still gets the choice between Howe's and Wellington, although with Kenny remaining in the group it could play out slightly different. This seems all well and good, but once again, there are a few glaring issues. During the fight, you have no idea that you could leave Kenny later on. Many people likely would have attempted to break up the fight if they knew first of all, that their endeavor would be successful, and second of all, if they were aware that they would have a chance to leave Kenny after everything is dealt with.

You know what? This entire idea is a mess. I'm still going to post this, because I took quite a few minutes thinking this up, but I honestly think that this could be considered pretty stupid.

  • The only reason why clem dint separate the fight is that she is a little girl so her only option was to shoot Kenny or just let kenny kill jane which wouldnt happen in Lee s case.

  • That's completely determinant.
