But if they're not going to release it "late September" then replace it with another date or a stamp it as TBA, I think it won't be until the final episode I do know that API is whole different ball game from IPA is, so may take them a bit longer. I'm just frustrated with TTG giving us 3-4 different release dates then being told it's being held back until this date.
Ok guys enough with the hates....We all know that TELLTALE'S new engine is not yet properly optimised..we can see the results based on PC,PS… more4, Xbox one... and other consoles. So if these strong devices are not able to handle it properly then how do u expect mobile devices to work good?
So telltale is taking time just to optimise their engine so that majority of Android users can play without major problems...
I have heard that they are currently encountering a minor technical issue where new updates to Support Articles are not being applied. (I previously brought to their attention that Batman Episode 2 for iOS was incorrectly displayed as "Available Now.") Perhaps they are wanting to change the date, but cannot do so? Either way, we unfortunately can't check the Support Article for any immediate updates at this time.
If the episode is not out by tomorrow, I will change the date on the original post to "TBA." As I have explained above, Telltale's updates to their support articles are not being applied due to a minor technical issue, so they might have to communicate via social networking sites - check there instead of Support for now.

It's most likely related to Telltale trying to get their newly updated engine working on Mac, Android, and other devices. Usually, releases for Telltale games are synchronized very closely. However, Batman is the first Telltale title to use a newly updated engine, so I assume they have more backend work to do beyond just getting the episode itself to run on different platforms.

You DO realize it has now been nearly 2 months since we were promised this game? It has been nearly 2 months since I preordered the damn thing? My money BETTER be going to fixes to make the game AMAZING. This is ridiculous.

This is a stupid argument. A week or two delay may be fine, but it's been multiple months. They shouldn't have set a release date if they couldn't deliver. It is painfully obvious they are not putting as much effort into all the mobile ports, that's just a fact. It's not a priority for them. Are you not allowed to criticize something if you're not actively helping it? That makes no sense.
If y'all wanna do something about it, go to the jobs section of the site and apply for one of the many open positions.
When you sit there… more and say the (probably) small and underfunded team working on the phone release don't give a damn, then you're just not helping.

They have announced plans for a Mac version, but we currently have no date. Keep an eye on the Batman Episode 1 Waiting Threads for details.
They could have just told is that batman for android is coming soon instead of fixing a date and breaking our hearts
