  • I didn't said anything, I agreed with you.

If this isn't selfless, I dunno what the fuck is.

  • I know. :p

I'm just proving my point further.

I didn't said anything, I agreed with you.

  • These are typed from memory, so try to excuse any small errors. Or don't, whatever works for you, I suppose.

"They say the world is over, but I'll tell you a secret: it's not. People are more political now than they ever were before. In the end, we can't change the world. All we can do is continue to learn from each other; to empathize and use our heads"
    ~Walter

"Nobody who died is anyone's fault! We all wanted to be together, and things just went bad. But we owe it to them to try to make the best of this!"
    ~Clementine

"You know what it feels like to get beaten, almost to death? Peaceful, it feels peaceful. It was like I was floatin' away, watching the whole thing happen to me. But then I woke up again, and nothing's changed. I'm still taking a beatin'everyday. Duck, Katjaa, Sarita. No peace, no rest. The punches just keep coming."
    ~Kenny

"We're all so fucked. I mean, what's the point? We're just gonna march to some new place and somebody else will die. It's never gonna stop. And eventually, it'll be our turn"
    ~Nick

"Jesus, are you fucking kidding me?!!?"
    ~Winston

"Anyway, the dick got stuck hiding underneath a car hiding from a dozen walkers. One after another they went down there trying to save him...Lost four people before we got him out. (...)Didn't find out 'til later that he was bit already. Turned and ripped the neck right out of this old lady. The look on her face was...She was just staring up at the sky like she was watching a bird."
    ~Jane

"You'll meet people...you'll make friends. People better than me...good people...that don't have to look at you, and feel ashamed at what they put you through."
    ~Kenny

"You're..you're right Clem. But I'm tryin' to change. I'm working on it. Something...broke inside me...a long time ago. And I've just been trying to hold it together..."
    ~Kenny

  • My favorite is Clem's

"Sometimes you have to hurt someone else to protect the people you care about. A friend told me that once."

Clem quoting Lee, from a dream she had. That just blew my mind. I think I've said this one too many times, I'll add another, and stick with the Kenny theme.

"I don't know what the fuck you just said but I know it's bullshit."-Classic Kenny

  • The game not once allows the player to communicate that Clementine is aware of the inevitable danger that being with Kenny is. It is entirely reasonable that she would want to demonstrate this to Clem, isn't it? She was not showing the audience.

Um i believe there is a conversation with Luke where Clem can agree with him or not about Kenny being dangerous, and again when talking to Jane when Kenny is fixing the truck?? I think there are probably other times Clem can choose to agree about Kenny's state of mind thus showing she can be aware of possible danger.

Anyway, me being biased here, i didn't really care what the others had to say because i know who Kenny is and how he was before when he lost people and season 2 was a repeat of that and if the game was wanting players to hate Kenny after showing his increased violence, i wasn't going to play into their hands

the audience knew about the danger posed by Kenny The game not once allows the player to communicate that Clementine is aware of the

Lee: Clem, people don't always make sense.

    Clementine: How come?

Lee: 'Cause bad things happen to everyone. And it's hard to keep being yourself after they do.

Such a simple line, but fuck me if it isn't true

That's one of the lines from the game that's always stuck with me

  • As someone who is endeared by Sarah and finds Carver a bit insufferable, something about this exchange cracks me up.

Carver: ...I don't think you want that. He can be...overzealous. (Suddenly looks back at Troy with the same serious expression)Is that the word?
Troy: If it means I'll slap the shit out of her, then yeah.(Gives Sarah an unusually serious scowl. ...Asshole)

Probably the one time Carver seemed intentionally funny--and dumb.

  • Both Lee and Kenny's final lines to Clem in season one and two, I'll never forget.

Relationships are like any machine. You don't throw them out when they break down,
    Said by Walter

  • Uh, I have a couple tied for first.

In terms of comedy value, there's :

"Be careful. There might be an animal in there."
    "An animal?"
    "Yeah an animal!"
"I hope there is, a tasty one."
"They can be hard to catch."

Clementine and Jane - Amid the Ruins.

    "How did we get here?"
"... We walked. At least, most of us did. You basically had to be carried!"

Luke and Clementine - No Going Back.

"I know what guys are talking about."
    "I should certainly hope not!""
    "You're talking about... Kissing stuff."
(Pause. All the adults look at each other.)
"Uhh, yes! Yeah, yes, Clem, that's right."
    "Was there any kissing?"

Clementine, Bonnie, Luke and Mike - No Going Back

I love the first and third because it shows Clementine is still a child, and has some underdeveloped knowledge or opinions about certain things about some things. And the way she says "Yeah an animal!" makes me grin. Honestly, the second quote is just one of many Luke and Clementine quotes that I love. The brother-sister thing they have going on is simply wonderful.

And one quote shines out, from Clementine, while Kenny and Jane are arguing, for a more dramatic/serious quote :

"Nobody who died is anyone's fault! We ... We all wanted to be together, and it just went bad! But we owe it to them to make them to make the best of this!"

This quote shows how mature Clementine is about the things that matter, namely guilt from people dying. To me, it shows the guilt she harbors over so many people deaths, yet she has to be the grown up of the three remaining survivors, even after waking up from just being shot.

Sorry for the long post. Just wanted to share.
