Here is the sneak peak! (And no, it's not a fake one this time.)

  • AMC released a sneak peak of the premiere episode of The Walking Dead Season 7 entitled "Right Hand Man."

    Thoughts? Predictions?

    My thoughts...

    !SPOILERS!

So, as you can see, Negan just got done killing one of the group members. I think this is Glenn for multiple reasons. Negan mentions right in the beginning of the video " What? Was the joke that bad?" Then rick says "I'm gonna kill you."

    Sound familiar?

Also, Negan mentions that he just killed Rick's right hand man. Now, who is that? Glenn.

Also, another thing. Many believe that Negan will kill two people. But... I think Negan kills one, and he makes Rick kill another. You can see Rick telling Negan "I'm gonna kill you." I think this made Negan tick, so he's gonna make Rick kill Abe with his own axe. Now, you'd think "Rick would never do that!" But if Negan threatened to kill Carl if Rick doesn't kill Abe, I think Rick would do it. ...Sadly.

  • Glenn is Rick's right hand man in the comics, but Daryl probably takes up that role more than anyone in the TV show.

(Though, his popularity will probably save him.)

  • I know they've said they wouldnt cut off Rick's hand, but...

I feel like Negan is referring that Rick's "Right Hand Man" and how "Not having one" is more "work." I think Negan is literally talking about not having a right hand.

Why ask for a hatchet? Why have this whole talk about "Right Hands" in a way like that. He then threatens that he may not come back with Rick. Also he drags him in a secluded area, kinda like where Rich had his hand cut off.

Iunno, I just got a whole vibe that Negan is going to cut off Rick's hand. It would also help the show with setting up that Negan is someone to not fuck with even more.

According to The Spoiling Dead (Who have been very trustworthy in the past), Glenn and Abraham have not been seen on set since the filming of the season premiere. So it's more than likely that Glenn takes the bat and Abraham is killed soon after.

Here's a link to a Facebook post they made of them breaking down the first half of Season 7

  • I thought the same! Plus, I feel like Glenn's death was foreshadowed with his "fake death" in earlier episodes. Probably preparing audiences to let go of a beloved character.

  • I was sooo looking forward to that quote from the comics! "Not today. Not tomorrow. But I'm gonna kill you."

It would seem Negan could chop off Rick's hand with the hatchet, but I don't think he will.

That was really good, i wasn't a fan of the cliffhanger but i am still really looking forward to the season 7 premiere.

AMC block their YouTube channel for people outside the US so here is the FOX international version which should work for everyone.

  • That's what I initially was thinking, but Kirkman has always said he would not have Rick lose his hand in the show.

  • Hmmm... Actually, he might. The main reason Kirman said he regretted cutting Ricks hand off was because Rick became extremely limited. In the comics, rick lost his hand waaay back during the Governor's time. During this, Rick still had a lot of responsibility and tasks but I think we're getting close to the time where they really get settled down in Alexandra and Rick becomes the main leader. In the comics he doesn't do much besides handle thing's inside the walls due to his hand issue.

So... Now that this time is coming, maybe Kirkman thinks this is the best time to do this? So Rick has an excuse to mostly stay inside the walls instead of outside combat.

That's what I initially was thinking, but Kirkman has always said he would not have Rick lose his hand in the show.

  • Yeah, after the whole "right hand man" talk, and the taking of the hatchet, I think it's very possible Rick will lose his hand, or many a few of his fingers. It's interesting, we'll see how it plays out.

Still, it's good to see that this episode may very well right the wrongs previously done in Season 6.

  • I don't think it will be Glenn, because Amc likes to switch deaths from the comics. How has nobody figured this out?

    Because of filming spoilers.

  • You know when you get those bad guys you just love to hate and you can't wait to see the next scene they're in or what they'll do next? Yeah...yeah I can't wait for Negan just to die. He's been interesting in the recent issues of the comics but here? I c-can't...

Can somebody just please kill him already, or better yet throw him in that cell and break his big bad wolf attitude prompto, because he's annoying the hell out of me! I'm going to need therapy again!
