I'm shaky on the other two but I definitely think that Oz wasn't in on the attack plan and that he'll start to question who he's aligned himself with.

Considering the connection this game gave him to Bruce, there's no doubt going to be a point where we're able to better reach him and try to talk sense into him. Whether it works out in the end is another story.

I'm 99% certain we'll have the option to reveal Batman's identity to Oz, possibly with the tension of maybe it helps him turn around. Even if in the end no option works. I'm of a mind that Vicki knows Bruce is Batman, or at least will figure it out very soon, but Oz doesn't.

Interesting predictions regarding Episode 4 : (http://ttgpredictions.tumblr.com/) Those I think make a great deal of sense :

  • Telltale won't introduce a new playable character this late into the series.

  • I was placing more emphasis on a "new playable character" if you catch my drift.

She is not a new character though.

  • That does not seem unbelievable to me, but I would not bet my house just yet.
I'd love to play as her.

Interesting predictions regarding Episode 4 : (http://ttgpredictions.tumblr.com/) Those I think make a great deal of sense :

  • Oz told Bruce at the press conference that Bruce's suffering was only getting started, so I could actually see him being involved in the plan to attack him, especially if it sends Bruce to Arkham which, from Oz's standpoint, would be poetic justice given what the Waynes did to his family.

  • I don't think that that will necessarily be conclusive. There are all sorts of reasons Batman might not be there. They don't know his life. But if Batman is gone and then when Bruce Wayne is released from Arkham or breaks out he comes back right away that might make people suspicious, if only because all the villains and people involved also have Bruce on the brain since they want him to pay for what his family did. Batman could be literally anyone but there's already been some people nonsensically wondering why Batman, a man who goes after active criminals, isn't doing some sort of reparation thing with Thomas Wayne's victims or beating up Bruce because of what his father did. Even if Bruce and Batman weren't the same person, no one seems to think Bruce is shady now so all I could see happening was Batman like Robin Hooding it and taking some or all of his money.

Bruce has kind of been thrown into a really bad situation, if he's trapped in AA and Batman isn't there either obviously someone is going to figure out who Batman is.

I think having Bruce in Arkham Asylum is an excellent moment to delve right into Bruce's psyche. Letting him face his demons, coming to terms with his father being a criminal, maybe learning to forgive him and ultimately conquer his demons and become the unstoppable Batman who protects his city with a strong conviction.

I'd believe that Oz knew the plan was to send Bruce to Arkham. We don't know if he knew it would involve Vicki getting Bruce to attack him, though.

People use him riling Bruce up as proof, but I'm pretty sure he would have done that no matter what. That's Oz's character.

  • It does align with the description of episode 5 involving him discovering a "renewed sense of purpose."

  • I think maybe we'll play as Alfred being Batman in order to cast suspicion off of Bruce.

  • "Recent reports seem to show that Batman got old as hell."

I think maybe we'll play as Alfred being Batman in order to cast suspicion off of Bruce.

  • Well, he was asking for a suit his size in episode 1...

I think maybe we'll play as Alfred being Batman in order to cast suspicion off of Bruce.

  • Not sure about Oz not knowing however I do sort of have a theory.

Im guessing someone is going to break Bruce out of Arkham, sure he is Batman but it be a little too easy if Bruce can just simply escape cuz "lol Im Batman!" Anyway, someone is going to help him break out. My best guess is that Catwoman will be the one to get us out but I do have a far fetched theory.

In episode 1 Oz didnt seem to hate Bruce as much. But in episode 3 is does things to aggravate us. What if Oz made sure that Bruce would be angry with him so when they drug him he will definitely attack him. Maybe this was another solution instead of just killing Bruce, and instead just have him locked up, and then later Penguin would come to Arkham and get Bruce out and basically just tell him to disappear.

I feel like it could just be an interesting character arch if Penguin did it to eliminate Bruce without killing him or having him locked up forever, just to show that Oz still values their past friendship.

  • Episode 4 just got classified by New Zealand!

    enter image description here

Maybe the shortest wait for an episode yet!

Wow, this is going fast, guys.

I believe Travis mentioned during Batman Unmasked that they were finishing the recording sessions for episode 4, right?

That was pretty fast, if the Australian version also gets rated this week than i'm predicting either the 15th or 22nd for the release.

  • Sorry to ask again but I'm really curious about how Telltale is working :

Are each episode made one after another ? I though Telltale have at least 2 episodes in advance. (just fixing some bugs during a month and then release the episode).

Or does Telltale release one episode, then do the next one (voices, some changes in the story..etc) ?

  • 15th? Damnnnnn

  • My Bruce will never forgive his father! But I love the idea of Bruce confronting his demons.

  • Oh my, maybe they'll really finish the series by the end of the year like they were planning to. :o

  • I hope they don't release four episodes quickly and then have us wait super long for the final episode.

It happened with Game of Thrones. Wasn't a big fan of that.

Yep, it does seem to fit into the normal pattern of it releasing around two weeks after it has been rated. Also seeing as A New Frontier episode 1 hasn't been rated yet i can't see that being on the 15th as the season pass disc rating is separate and they probably need to get it rated earlier so retail discs can have a rating printed on the cover and be produced before release.

  • True, but look at how great Episode 6 was and how much our choices impacted the episode. Sure long waits can suck, but if it leads to a better product, I don't mind at all.

  • OMFG IT's ALREADY RATED? IT'S BEEN A WEEK

  • November 22 is my guess.

  • This is great! Heh, funny, batman fans are literally swimming in news and updates. ...Then there's The Walking Dead section.

  • They already have everything planned out for the whole season and they're maybe 1-2 episodes ahead. So once episode 1 was about to release they were probably almost done with episode 2 and making final tweaks. It's best to be ahead to have some wiggle room.

  • Once New Frontier launches, it will be the same case for that game; Telltale is going back to monthly episodes for all of their series.

  • Telltale have said they are going back to monthly episodes; that won't be the case. Before the series launched, Job said to expect the final Episode in December or a few weeks into January.

  • Why does New Zeland rate every episode first?

  • I have a feeling this episode will come out before thanksgiving. Can't believe it's already rated let's just not repeat minecraft story mode episode 2.

  • Though I hope they space out some of the releases for their series. I'd much rather like to have at least a one week gap between the release of one series and the other. This was the case with some of TFTB/Thrones, the rare same-day release of MC:SM/TWD Michonne and partly Batman/MC:SM.
This way, we don't get one series episode one week, and the other, the week right after. Where we're left with this big gap of 4 weeks or so without anything new from Telltale and then, back with the new episodes. If we can release one series at one time, and release the other one two weeks later, it'd make for a good alternation between their different games, without too much of a waiting game for both once you've finished the latest release.

  • Yeah, I agree. I think that spacing it out to where two series each get an episode a month, but spaced out two weeks apart would be really cool. It would also kinda emulate that feeling of Live TV that Telltale seems to be going for.

  • How can it be rated now? Is it done already? I can't imagine it's being rated while it's being made.

  • Honestly I don't like these short waits to get episodes that still have framrate issues. Fix what you have before putting out more to fix
