This has had to be the shortest wait for all the episode feels like 2 weeks ago episode 1 came out. I really don't want this series to end maybe they add some extra episodes like story mode but I doubt it a season 2 (eventually) is more likely.
So Telltale tweeted a new video thats about Catwoman, and how they made her character in the game

(Sorry Its some weird website, Telltale didnt use youtube for some reason and Im not sure how to directly link tweets)
I really appreciate all the thought and lore that went into building their version of Catwoman, and it really shows. I also appreciate the idea that presenting this version for today's market doesn't mean her sexuality needs to be downplayed or removed.
And I know this is a weird thing to suddenly focus on, but does his mug say Circus? Hmmm

I chose to save Harvey in my play-through, and I'm finding myself to have a slight preference towards this outcome. Overall, I do feel that both Harveys were handled very well. I will now expand on this with a deliriously typed wall of text. So uh, this will mainly consist of me endlessly rambling about what I enjoyed in both versions of Harvey....My mind is all over the place at the moment, just so you know in advance.
While Harvey is obviously the same person in both versions (well, you know what I mean), I feel that both takes provide different perspectives on what he's going through. For example, after saving Harvey, he mentions that he's dealt with similar issues in the past and that the effects of the drug are causing various problems to resurface. Given how the drug affects the user, it makes sense. So with that, combined with unbelievable levels of stress and its many associated emotions and the betrayal at the end of the episode, we are left with a really good recipe for a descent into instability. There really weren't any implications of Harvey having a pre-existing mental condition when you decide not to save him, which I find to be interesting. I feel like just that one little hunk of dialogue at the hospital scene says a lot. With this, we are given two very different perspectives on Harvey's mentality. (Or you know, this is possibly me just being weird again)
And while this kind of ties into my previous overly-lengthy paragraph, I am getting somewhat off-topic here. Alright, so Harvey Dent is afflicted with Dissociative Identity Disorder, which is previously and more commonly known as Multiple Personality Disorder. This disorder usually stems from trauma endured in early childhood, most notably abuse. People who have this condition develop one or multiple different personalities, commonly called “alters”, to help cope with the effects of previously endured trauma. They unconsciously separate themselves from the traumatic event. This is the case for the vast majority of those with DID. Also, it can be triggered in later ages or resurface or worsen in times of great distress, which we are currently seeing with our boy Harvey. (And you know, drugs) So, I kind of wonder if Harvey experienced any less than ideal circumstances as a child. Was this ever highlighted in a different iteration of Harvey? If so, I apologize for completely wasting approximately 12,000,000 of your brain cells, and that's only if it took one minute to read this paragraph. These words are just wasting more...So, I don't particularly care if Telltale goes completely by the book with this, but uh....that aforementioned line of Harvey's got me to do one of my favorite things: over-think to hell and back. My mind never would have arrived at this train of thought if I were only given the Two-Face version.
Alright, so moving on!...to a pretty obvious point. I noticed that you really could see Two-Face begin to gain dominance over the burned Harvey's person, notably in the office scene. He continues to struggle against this, and he has yet to embrace the persona. His entire ordeal is more upfront, I guess you could say. The saved Harvey, while coming off as somewhat unhinged and paranoid during this scene, appears to have much more control over himself. There is just something about Harvey suppressing his alter that I find to be even more enthralling.
Let's wrap things up, because I have typed more words than anyone should ever willingly type in ten minutes. I also really enjoyed the nuances in the delivery of the different Harveys' lines. Of course there were deviations in dialogue in pretty much every scene, but there were more slight differences in how certain lines were said. Maybe I was just making this up as I watched alternate play-throughs, considering I can't think of any specific examples off the top of my head. I remember noticing the scarred Harvey's voice as coming off as more rough and aggressive than the other Harvey at times, even when their dialogue was extremely similar. These small changes really made things for me, no matter what you what you decided to do in episode two.
Lastly, I'll have you know, I became extremely excited by this handshake:
The prospect of Harvey and Batman together again after that debate really hyped me, (that one screenshot got ma body ready) and boy did I become overly excited. It was like our bro-iness transcended all masks. HAVE YOUR EYES EVER VIEWED SUCH A FIRM GRIP FROM BOTH PARTIES? Of course, the variations in this scene seemed fitting too. Ah, my fingers hurt.
Why thank you. Ah, we have had some beautiful moments together. Who could forget the sensuous, sultry Catfred?
Agreed. I'd kill for Harvey to teach a political course, and have one of his sides be a Hillary Clinton supporter and the other a Trump supporter.
“Alright class, today, considering the upcoming election, we will discuss various issues that are plaguing American voters. Now, the goal is to remain fair and objective. I choose to not disclose my opinion for the sake of –“
“- LET'S BUILD A WALL! No...that's not...Trumped-up trickle-down! My apologies class, I didn't mean to - HILLARY FOR PRISON!”
Actually, once this game concludes (NOOOOOOO) I plan on watching Batman: The Animated Series. I have heard good, I have heard good. Animated shows with complex characters that conquer dark and mature themes happen to be my number one turn on. Well, that seems to be the general internet consensus of the program, at the least.
Hey, I think you're pretty swell! I appreciate you indulging my brand of crazy from time to time!
I don't think I've been this into Batm… morean since I watched TAS religiously after school tbh
Narrating your studies as Two-Face sounds like it would make subjects like world history a lot more interesting. In fact, if this Mayor of Gotham thing doesn't work out, I think he should become a teacher.
I personally find it great that they didn't shy away from Selina's sexuality. Such things only become issues when a character's entire personality is “Hi, I'm sexy. Let's bang.” With such a well-developed character such as Selina, showing these different aspects can only add to the character in some way. The way she and Bruce bounce off one another is perfection that should never be tampered with, most notably during the scenes at her apartment. Telltale, you are doing fantastic here.

So far Telltale has been doing a better job this time when it comes to a romance option. It still is kinda leading, and we wont really know how "guided" it is until later episodes, but so far it seemed to have happened a lot more naturally than last time. Also declining the romance feels real and not like "lol shit dog, it's happening anyway."
Also like you said, its not just some character there for sex. Honestly this is becoming my favorite adaption of Selina Kyle, she's very diverse with her character and its alot of fun learning more about her rather than Catwoman. I do like the gray area like they talk about, and how she really just does whatever she wants, kinda like how if you dont save her in episode 2, but then have the romance, she tells you she just did it for fun.

First, the mayor diversion for both (universes?) Harvey's so far is that Scarred Havey is aggressive and Normal Harvey is paranoid. Scarred hates Batman and normal Harvey goes as far as to want to make him the ONLY law. They are both extreme, but in different ways.
Also I wouldn't be surprised if he did suffer abuse. If you beat him he treats it like its a normal, almost natural thing to do. He doesn't even complain. He seems to do a lot of self blaming too which is another tell-tale sign of abuse. And I think tell-tale knows tell-tale so I doubt it was a coincidence.

I don't think I'll ever be able to scrub out the glorious memory of Catfred, even with bleach.
That mental image of Harvey is killing me. Especially if this were like a Government course for high schoolers. Rolling up in there first day with his linebacker physique, maimed face and all, handing out a syllabus to a class with nobody able to figure out where to look. Then he goes at the material like if Principal McVicker and Groundskeeper Willie had a lovechild.
But hey, Two Face is such a classic depiction of politician, and so much more!. The dark and the light. The comedy and the tragedy. Who would be better qualified? That's what he'd say to concerned PTA members.
And I concur with that consensus! Sometimes the Internet does not lie. I may even do the same since it's been a while since I've watched it. And god yes, the Harvey episodes are a must.

Exactly. Despite the gray space she exists in, it's the ownership over herself, including her sexuality, that makes her so likable-- and especially when balanced by her opening up a little (or a lot, huh huh) to Bruce. She doesn't need him to lean on, but I think she's curious about having the option.
And I agree, even if the romance doesn't cause major shifts in the general trajectory of the story, the subtle changes in the way Selina (and Harvey) react to Bruce depending on his actions are pretty satisfying to see. I like that Selina can either see their night spent together as just a roll in the hay, or see it as something (maybe?) more, based on her reaction to him in the morning. While the video brings up the fact that she's an expert manipulator, I'm pretty convinced that if you romanced her, Selina does have genuine affection for and trust in Bruce-- even if she does turn out she's using him in some way. I've steeled my heart, and I am fully prepared for my hopes for them to be dashed in these last few episodes, if that's the way it has to be.

This is hilarious. Someone has to make a video clip with Bruce rapping with the inmates.
