Looks like someone doesn't feel so sweet

  • That actually sounds like a good scene. It's both kinda funny and demented which perfectly fits Negan's character IMO.

I don't know about you guys, but listening to this song and looking at Negan, I keep imagining Negan happily and joyfully wandering around with Lucille, knocking on every community for supplies and bashing a few heads along the way.

Nope. It was Glenn I think.

  • We're on easy street
    And it feels so sweet
Cause the world is but a treat
    When you're on easy street
And we're breaking out the good champagne
We're sitting pretty on the gravy train
And when we sing every sweet refrain repeats
    Right here on easy street
It's our moment in the sun
    And it's only just begun
It's time to have a little fun
We're inviting you to come and see why you should be
    On easy street
Yea we got a front row seat
O, to a life that can't be beat
    Right here on easy street

  • If those girls are getting excited about Daryl being tortured and filthy, then they have issues.

Did you hear that, that was the sound of millions of girls screaming in excitement.

  • Can I ask what else you think they should have done with his character?

Not saying he had no development at all because he did. I just feel like if they focused a smidge more on it, it would've made the episode a little stronger. But I still think the episode's great overall. That's just a little nitpick that I had.

  • Yep, that's exactly what I thought when I watched it. He's doing this for Glenn and that's why he'll never kneel, no matter what they do to him. He has principles, you have to give him that.

I would agree, but then I saw an argument that Norman Reedus brought up that it was something that he had to do for Glenn's memory, because

  • That friggin song is a earworm. I cant stop singing it. On the other hand, if it was keeping me from sleeping, I would probably want to kill myself lol

Okay, the intro felt like a totally different show. Also, the Easy Street song is getting stuck in my head.

I agree. I was wondering if I had clicked on the right show on my DVR. :P
And, the beginning to the episode also made me think about when Desmond was introduced in Lost.

The scene where Daryl sees the picture of the mutilated Glenn I feel could have gone on for a little longer or the episode should've further emphasized Daryl breaking more than it did. Again, it's a nitpick. I should probably take it for what it is instead of what I wanted it to be and it's fine for what it is.

    "Daryl."

    "Daryl!"
    WHO ARE YOU?!"
    "REEK!"
