Are you going to play Season 3 again with the ending(s) you didn't choose in Season 2?
If the Season 2 endings end up impacting Season 3 a lot more than expected, will you play Season 3 multiple times to see how the story changes? And if Kenny or Jane show up if at all in Season 3 with more time and story than expected, would you use the person you didn't save for S3 at some point? I think I am going to try at least once depending if the story changes.

If the story will be changed by a big chunk then yes i'll probably try alternative gameplays.
But if they do the whole 1 line storybranch thing at the beginning that basically says "haha the ending from Season 2 doesn't matter at all because no matter what happened, it all lead to this point here" or if they show a beginning clip of Kenny/Jane being killed off instantly and then cutting to ''present time'' then i'll probably not bother.
I mean I ended up alone with AJ because I wasn't big on either K or J, which I feel is probably how the S3 storyline is gonna follow regardless in the end, either way. I just can't see Telltale going through the effort of making that large scale changes to the game (no offence TTG).
Yeah, probably. Even if it doesn't have much impact on the story, I'd still probably play it with the different ending.
If the S3 story pulls off a Carley/Doug type scenario for Jane and Kenny and make it work to make the story different in some way then yes i would definitely play it with different saves. I already have 4 saves ready to use on the off chance the endings do impact season 3
It depends if TellTale's programming/branching is good enough for that to happen.
My ultimate dream is for Clementine's attitude to differ based on what she's witnessed and done. I.E., whether or not Lee killed Danny in front of her, did you have her watch Kenny beat Carver to death, did you go to Crawford, etc. I know that she'll be a certain level of stoic and cynical since we're 4 years into the outbreak, but it'd be kinda nice for her to have different philosophies and quirks based on the different things she's endured.
For example, if when you're playing as Javier and Clementine is just a straight up bitch to you when you're with her, it should be YOUR fault based on the choices you made if said choices lead to the more awful and grotesque side of the story. If she's witnessed/done every fucked up choice imaginable in the first two seasons, she could be less forgiving.
(Javier accidentally drops the last of their ammo into a nearby creek after a struggle with a walker) Clementine just shrugs. "No sweat, Javi, we all make mistakes."
(Javier accidentally drops the last of their ammo into a nearby creek after a struggle with a walker) Clementine's golden eyes of fury stare deeply into Javier's soul. "JAVIER, ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME RIGHT NOW, THAT WAS THE LAST OF WHAT WE HAD AND YOU FUCKING DROPPED IT!!"
I didn't mean to ramble. This kind of stuff is just apart of my wishlist, and that sorta-kinda-roughly tied in with what you were asking.
I'll have 3 save files that I will transfer to S3:
I might make another one where Clementine leaves with Kenny. The problem is that S1 save data corrupts all the time on PS4, and I don't feel like playing through it for the third time in three or so weeks (other saves had to be deleted).
Also, please don't start anything about how you don't think those endings are good/bad (if you were going to).
(Javier accidentally drops the last of their ammo into a nearby creek after a struggle with a walker) Clementine that was influenced by Carver a bit too much: "Weakness. Incompetence. It puts us all at risk." pushes Javier
If she's influenced by Kenny AND Carver, she adds a "Phuck yew" before the push
@TheSloaningDead
Dude or lady, thank you for your awesome post! I totally agree with this and would love it more than anything because it would truly make our season 1 game feel more special than it already is and it would send out a message from telltale that our choices have mattered.
Sadly it won't happen
I think I would prefer watching LPer's and seeing how their endings connect and stick with the ending I chose as canon.
I'll be watching play throughs out of interest to see the different impacts
I'm a dude, and you got it, my friend. It would be amazing.
And haha yeah, sadly they wouldn't. I don't think their programming is on that level yet, but my post was just wishful thinking.
Of course I will! First I'll play with my canon playthrough, that ended with Clem and AJ at Wellington and then, if the S2 finale choices really do matter, I'll try to play it once for each ending (I have all the 4 S2 save files with 4 different endings)
So how is this going to work? I have both seasons 1 & 2 on my Xbox 360 now i pre order my Season 3 for my Xbox 1 how will they know my choices or would I have to start with the default choices for season 3?
I'm seriously losing sleep on this matter...LOL...seriously
Nope. If i didn't choose this, so it's mean i really dont care about how it impact on S3.
I agree!
