Then you would have lost
your full manor
Would Al die?
No your whole house would be burnt along with the bat cave
Whoooaaahh, thats a gamechanger. I saved it but compromised all bat tech
Wayne Manor
This is how i broke down the Harvey/Penguin decision at the end. It comes down to what you think is more important. The tech or the manor and everything/everyone in it. Yeah, Bruce tells Alfred to hide in the bat cave but if i know that Harvey and his men are headed to my home and are most definitely armed i'm going to the manor to make sure Alfred and Lucius (Since i told him to work with me.) are guaranteed safe. My friends are more important to me then my tech.
On top of that, you can take down Penguin and probably cripple the CoA for a short time but they're still out there with Vicki. If i target Penguin then that means i still have to split my attention between Harvey and Vicki in episode 5. If i take out Harvey, i can eliminate him from the problem completely and give all my attention to the CoA in episode 5.
I have faith that Batman will be able take down the CoA with his natural talents so that's another reason i had no problem given up the tech.
Pretty sure Harvey didn't find the bat cave, so I bet it's fine.
Wayne Manor. I kind of regret it, as Harvey ends up in jail/Arkham, and I really want to see his craziness reach a crescendo in ep 5. I sent him to Arkham BTW.
I went to Wayne Manor. We don't want a repeat of Alfred's near death experience in Arkham Origins, do we? And I sent him to Arkham Asylum.
I went to Wayne Manor to backup Alfred. I couldn't risk him dying, and I took out Harvey along the way, so that's good. Unfortunately, I lost all of my tech now.
(And Harvey is in Blackgate Prison.)
I went to Wayne Manor. Harvey had to be stopped. I sent him to blackgate prison.
I chose to go to Wayne Enterprise. I know Harvey needs to be stopped, but if I allowed the Penguin to gain control of my tech, it would mean disaster for everyone. So for the sake of greater good I chose to go there.
Granted I didn't know Wayne Manor could have shut everything down, if I knew that or they told me, I would have went to the Manor.
I doubt Harvey would've found the Batcave and shut everything down. I imagine worst case scenario would be that he unknowingly destroyed the Batcave.
Question: Does Harvey still like Batman in your playthrough?
If batcave burns along with manor, then whats the use of stopping it from being hacked?
Went to the manor. The tech is not worth risking lives.
On top of that I like to see Batman robbed of his technological edge.
I doubt that the manor will literally be burnt to nothing and chances are the batcave has better protection and security than the regular house does.
To the RAIIIIIIIINNNNNBOOOOOOOW
Seems that I'm in the minority here. I chose to go to Wayne Enterprise, because why the hell would Batman need his manor for? It would accomplish nothing! Batman's tech is more important to save lives and to prevent Penguin from ruining lives. Besides, I'm sure that the Batcave is fine since Alfred was protecting it.
Maybe not batman, but you are Bruce Wayne too, you lost a lot of money, the place where you could sleep and eat, etc
In long terms Bruce Wayne without the mansion is fucked, while Batman can handle himself without petty tech, as you've seen when you fought penguin without the tech.
Agreed. This game does not go the "Bruce is a mask Batman wears" route. They're both important and, Alfred and maybe Lucius' safety aside, it's literally his home. Harvey may say he wants to take Bruce's money, too, but the threat that freaked Alfred out and sent Bruce or Batman to Harvey in the first place was just stealing his manor. It's his home, it's his parents' home, it's an important part of who he is and not everything has to be about how to best serve Batman.
No one, and I mean NO ONE
NO ONE TOUCHES MY ALFRED.
I went to the mansion and man I'm glad I did so. How dare Harvey pointing a gun to my Alfred?! I'm glad I gave him a burnt arm to go with his burnt face. I hope he has fun in Arkham.
Not exactly. For the time being Bruce can only be Batman because Harvey will do whatever it takes to get him out of the picture so that he can take what he wants.
Do you really think that where Bruce sleeps and east is more important then your enemies compromising your tech and using it against others?
For himself yes. But for others no. You saw what Penguin did to Batman's drone, and then used it to attack the foster boy.
So while Bruce saves his home, his enemies will be using his tech against others. So is it really more important to save Bruce's home and let others possibly die? And being Batman is the best way to stop crime in the city.
I don't think Oswald does have access to the tech. Bruce shut it down so no one can use it and he's probably going right there to get rid of that mess. It's just there's a time limit to keep the house or tech. Being Batman is important, I just don't think"how can Batman best serve Gotham" is the only consideration.
I wanted to ensure Alfred's safety, so I went to the Manor. Good to have Harvey out of the picture too.
I'm curious how will Bats handle the Children of Arkham situation without his tech, must be very challenging.
Exactly my thoughts
In went to Wayne Ent. because I thought that the Pinguin is a bigger threat to Gotham. Who could have known that Harvey would blew up his house :P.
Same. If I knew I could just shut it down, I'd go to the manor.
I just found out that Batman can shut down his tech from his Manor. Kind of disappointed about that because then it really doesn't make a difference in choice for that matter. But maybe if he still goes to Wayne Tower he can maybe still use his Tech idk.
I went to the wayne enterprises because without his tech batman is nothing
I went to Wayne Enterprises to take down Penguin. I had faith that Alfred could handle Harvey, or at least hide safely in the Bat Cave while Harvey vented his anger upon the mansion. Bruce and Alfred are a team; Al isn't helpless, and he was on his home turf.
And I reasoned that if Penguin broke into the Bat Computer, not only would he severely compromise Batman's ability to fight his enemies by shutting down his tech, but he would also discover Batman's secret identity, along with plenty of incontrovertible evidence that he could use to expose that identity to the world, ending Batman's crime-fighting crusade and ruining Bruce's reputation forever.
P.S. Although I can totally see why people chose to help Alfred, too. I had faith Alfred would be able to stay out of harm's way, but "faith" is hardly a guarantee, and Alfred is the only family Bruce has.
He does recover his tech if he goes to the tower. You're right, if it's just a matter of shutting it down and not having tech going into the next episode there's literally no point not choosing the manor. The only thing that's constant is Oswald doesn't have your tech going into the next episode (but he probably has something).
I don't even know why he did that, especially if he thinks Bruce is dead like he does if you went to see him as Bruce. Like what is even the point? I thought he wanted to sell it for the money to fund his campaign. Or is he trying to get insurance money? He's completely lost it. But he's destroying everything else around him and decided Bruce supposedly sleeping with someone casually seeing Harvey justifies institutionalization, making him public enemy #1, stealing his house and money, then killing him and staging it as a suicide that's apparently not even worth the bottom of the front page (because God forbid Harvey being a hero by blowing up a city block not make top billing) so is it really a surprise he just decided to torch your house?
Selina's decision to leave is making more and more sense.
He can still beat people up and the grappling hook should still work so he'll be fine. It won't be forever.
I visited Wayne Manor, and despite being conflicted, I'm satisfied with my decision. As Bruce, I held more concern towards Lucius and my sexy surrogate father, Alfred, than my tech. I also had Harvey in mind, and I felt that it would prove beneficial to tackle him sooner than later. His reign was causing much destruction to Gotham and all of its inhabitants, including himself. I felt it would be better for everybody if I intervened in his dark path.
The ending at Wayne Manor was one of my favorite scenes in the entire series, but in retrospect, so many aspects of my original plan went to shit. I believe that Alfred and the Bat Cave are definitely safe regardless of choice, and my plan of helping Harvey by bringing him down got quite messy. I didn't anticipate burning half of his fucking body and sentencing him to an asylum equipped with indifferent staff and questionable inmates. I figure there's some hope for him there at least. I'll never stop believing, okay! (I mean, obviously he should have gotten off scot-free for his vile crimes and many casualties, with the episode fading to black amidst a bro hug.) Additionally, now my Batman has to rely solely on his brains and combat skills, which honestly isn't too bad, considering who we're discussing. This will definitely be a hindrance though.
At least Bruce can rest assured that Alfred and Lucius are safe, his home is intact, his Bat Cave is concealed, his damaged friend is done terrorizing Gotham and is receiving help, and his focus can be placed entirely on the Children of Arkham. Without any knowledge of the future, things could've gone down a lot worse. I'm sticking by my decision. I don't feel the best about it, but I'm really not supposed to.
I have one question for mobile users after the new update for Android devices they gave us the option of viewing videos related to batman unmasked and directing trailers but whenever I play the video I get only audio no video(black screen) if anyone else has experienced the same problem ?
You know nothing about Batman then. Batman is much more then just tech.
He is unscarred in my playthough, so he still likes Batman, I think...Granted I did threaten to drop him off the building, so I am not entirely sure if Harvey still likes Batman.
Manor.
I don't think he hates him like he does if he's scarred but he does lose that respect if Batman encounters him at all in the episode.
