Chuck for season 3

Hey if people can believe Lee will be back....let's play a game...come up with the most outlandish scenario that sees Chuck live after his supposed death.

  • Hmmmm..... Nnnnn.... Ummm....

Nope. No chance. Not the slightest.

  • No one saw Lee turn or Clementine shoot him. Everyone saw Chuck's corpse.

  • Use that imagination....I know it looked grim with his intestines strewn out and the gunshot to the head....I would like to think Vernon found him and saved him. I mean Heck...it is as believable as Kenny getting lucky.

  • Clementine saw Lee get shot...and he was not going to get better from being a Walker. Lee did not feel for a pulse on Chuck.

Now of course Chuck is dead...and so is Lee.

  • We never saw Kenny get bit or eaten though. Just like happened with Tyreese in the comics. It's totally not the same case.

  • Of course. I was stating the "evidence" SOME people use to suggest Lee could have survived. Chuck is even more implausible which leads me to ask what is the point of this discussion?

  • Take Kenny in the alley...there was no way out...how do you suppose he got out? And if he got out...why did he not return to help get Clementine....I mean that would mean Kenny really was a piece of shit. And that means the Kenny in S2 is a fake...because Kenny could not be a piece of shit...or could he?

  • Wait, what? Who says Kenny didn't try to help get Clementine afterwards? Maybe he searched the Marsh House but Lee and Clem were already gone. We don't know. About the alley, he could've escaped through the sewers, or use Ben's body as a distraction, or one of the windows.

  • There were no sewers. Also the Windows were barred and boarded.

  • To help illustrate to all the Lee bringer backers...there is no way...none...except in flashbacks.

That reminds me of this one theory that he hid under Ben's corpse to avoid being killed by the walkers. Because that totallly sounds like a good idea.

  • Well, if Glenn managed to hide under a dumpster and not be bitten, Kenny can escape the alley. I think he saw an opening while the walkers were eating Ben's corpse.

  • Wouldn't the walkers eat the corpse anyways? It was still warm and wasn't rotten.

  • Yeah probably you are right

  • Just a theory, I dunno. I would've liked to see how he did it.

Unless there is a lazarus pit or something, Lee is finished.

Plot twist, late season 1 and entire season 2 was a dream and Clementine actually did wake up.

(Just joking, season 3 confirms that it wasn't a dream, Lee is dead in season 3.)

  • Well it was Ben...sorta rotten to begin with.

  • Exactly.

  • It's just like the Nicholas-Glenn situation. It gave Glenn time but if he had stayed under him he'd have been eaten too.

    Exactly.

  • Considering he shot himself in the head and had his friggin entrails pulled out, he's definitely not coming back.

On that note, Chuck stands out as the only unnecessary death in Season 1, considering all it does is confirm that he was planning to kill himself for a while. A minor character that had just been introduced in the latter half of of the previous episode, with a major role that people constantly quote from, just gets separated from the group at the beginning of the following episode, turns up dead in the middle of the sewers for whatever reason, and is never referenced after that point as far as I know. To be fair, he was a fairly new minor character whose purpose had been fulfilled, but it's still a noticeably careless move in an otherwise precise story.

Of course, Season 2 would top that with its treatment of Nick and especially Sarah, so it's clearly the least of the problems. Either way, he is on the list of wasted characters I want to expand on--if I can figure out how I could do that, that is.

  • "Chuck faked his own death. It's pretty obvious once you think about it.
You see, he hated Ben so much that he just couldn't stand being around him anymore. He hired a shit ton of survivors to cosplay as walkers. Better add those people to Lee's list of people he shot in cold blood. Damn, son. Lee should have realized that the zombies were saying "Gruuuuh!" instead of "Groarg!", which is universal for "We're just cosplayers, don't shoot us!"
After the group left Chuck, the other walker cosplayers were a bit upset about their colleagues getting shot in the fucking face, but Chuck split the dead's pays between the living ones, and they didn't mind that much afterwards. He then watched Lee dig the grave (Fivel was also just a cosplayer btw) - that shadow that looked exactly like the Stranger, it was actually a cosplay too, worn by Chuck.

Cuck was also secretly Molly. Just think about it. After Lee got seperated from Kenny and Clem, no one really cared what Molly did, right? She was just sneaking about the house. Before that, however, Molly (aka Chuck) returned to the sewers with some more cosplayers and acted as if they were eating him. The bullet wound was just painted on and the "guts" were actually BBQ. Lee didn't check his pulse, right!? NO!

And what if I told you there's another plot twist? Chuck also replaced Vernon while Lee and him were in the sewers. Chuck swapped in with Vernon (who was also a cosplayer) when Lee was "Hmmm!"ing at some plankwood drifting in month old shit. So Chuck actually stole the boat!!!?!?!!

(btw, if you want an explanation for Molly and Vernon (both Chuck) being in the same places sometimes...screw you, there's no proof they weren't both Vernon! sticks fingers in ears and hums "In the Pines")"

This is what it sounds like to me when people try to argue that Lee is alive.

  • Back at you.

    Nice shitpost.

  • Chuck was a secret practical joker and hired the first people he came across to play fake walkers and found some fake intestines and played dead just to get back at Lee for taking the map of the trains!

  • He only has a small stomach ache.

  • it's okay its just a scratch i got real lucky

  • I don't watch the TV Show yet, so that reference is mostly lost on me.

  • Nicholas was so useless....he was only useful in death.

Kenny' s divine powers brought him back! During S3, Chuck will be in a purgatory state where he will have to protect Clementine until Kenny feels like it's time for him to go the afterlife!

PRAISE KENNY, HE IS ALL GOOD!

  • That sounds very Glenn. Just add a dumpster to the mix and you got it.
