Lilly will return for S3 (CLUES) THREAD
Lilly - (Main villain/Friend depending on if you had Lee kill or try to save her dad) I found this mainly strange about her, a few reasons is that (1) she isn't the Lilly from the comics, they removed any info regarding shes the girl from the book "The Road to Woodbury" where she meets the Governor. (2) If you have been good to Lilly from the start, she would say to Lee if you tell her his past she WILL forgive him in episode 3, but not Kenny. And then in the RV she says, "I'm not gonna hurt you, come with me, he left the keys." If Lee agrees, it'll say ? You told Lilly you'd go with her she'll be surprised, she'll tell him to go get Clementine, but Lilly would leave anyway. I wonder if Lilly would tell Clem about that moment. (3) In the Wikipedia on the facts about season 1, it said that Lilly was supposed to come back with the RV in episode 5, but Telltale Games scrapped it, think of what would happen if it wasn't, she would've agreed to protect her when Lee got bit. (4) There are clues in season 2 that somewhat show Lilly's return
- In episode 2, you can have Clementine say to Alvin about a "woman" in her group depending on what choices you did during season 1
- During episode 4 of season 2, Clementine and Jane find a place called "Sunshine Mobile Home Park", while Jane shows Clem how to easily kill a walker, there appears to be an RV, which looks exactly like Kenny's, and if you look at the barricade the two girls go through, its actually furniture that was seemingly removed from said RV to block the walkers. Was it perhaps that Lilly had a new group and tried surviving before it fell apart?
- In episode 5, when Clementine got shot by Arvo, she dreams of being with Lee and the group in the RV during episode 3 of season 1 after Carley/Doug died. Lilly is seen asleep in the back with Ben, after chatting with dream Lee, he whispers to Clem, "What do you think? Do you think we should've left her?" she can say "No." he then says, "Maybe we should've, I dunno."
- I highly doubt Lilly's in Wellington or if she's the LEADER (She is a good survivor but is a bit hot tempered), there are plenty of people who are good leaders than her.
What I want to know is are some of these clues supposed to be FORESHADOWING what is to come in S3? Tell me your thoughts about what her role is going to be if she's in Maryland up in Virginia where Clementine and Javier are currently. Friend or Foe...or BOTH?

Lilly shouldnt come back and there is no real signs that she will
Yeah, there really isn't. I personally think it is necessary to have unknown characters, especially in a world like the Walking Dead, otherwise it seems forced, while no explanations seems natural.
Really?! I wish I didn't play my 3rd Lee as pragmatic(within reason) to potentially see this. I never heard this before.
As an example of "Your choices matter," I think Lilly would work better if it was a little of both objectively speaking, depending on her potential role and how much her previous interaction with Lee would bias her placement. Personally, I'd like her to be either an uneasy ally or friendly enemy; same with anyone else like Becca, Mike, and/or Arvo. As I recall posting in the Unpopular Opinions thread a while ago, it kinda annoys me how she suddenly became the bad gal in favor of Kenny as far as anyone can tell. To be fair, it made sense back when she was supposed to be the start of darkness for a comic book villain of the same name, but now the odds are retroactively not stacked in her favor. Don't get me wrong, I definitely don't approve of what she did to Doug/Carley or what she tried to do to Ben, but at the same time, I'm not a fan of the whole "this character fucked up and therefore they deserve die" mentality, with Kenny and/or Jane being the only exception(s). Having Clementine be very uneasy about seeing her again would make the most sense, though I'm not sure if Season 3 will take proper advantage of the timeskip to make Clementine NOT want to tolerate Lilly's presence justified.
I agree, she'd be downright angry if you don't always side with her, although I didn't notice something about Lilly changed if you tried saving Larry, she'd be nice to Lee after what happened at the St. Johns dairy, in episode 3 she agreed that the group has to leave the motor inn eventually, also she was a little less hot tempered, and didn't care if Lee killed before the apocalypse. She said this to Kenny if you let her stay with the group, "Murderer? Lee's killed before and I forgave him, you've killed before and I'll forgive you."
So Lilly was willing to forgive Kenny?
People shouldn't hate her for what she did to Carley/Doug (That was an accident, didn't think Doug would do something brave), she's got the traits of a leader, but she kind of lost it after Kenny killed Larry.
Now I'm not trying to start a Kenny/Lilly war since that was since season 1, but I believe both sides are right, Kenny's a family man, risking to kill anyone to get to his wife and kid, Lilly was only trying to save the one thing that meant to her, and Larry almost woke up when Lee performed CPR.
Heres another thing, if Ben hadn't told the group that people become walkers no matter how you die, Kenny would've not grabbed the salt lick.
Its obvious its always Ben's fault, he should've said this AFTER the farm.
Well, there weren't that much theories on youtube about this person whom we never see die, she can't be that stupid to get bit by a walker or killed by survivors, there should've been a good reason why she popped up suddenly in the fith episode only to be a dream Clementine had, and talked about the choice of keeping her or leaving her during episode 3 of season 1.
...What?!
To be fair, he properly would've been kicked out already if he didn't tell them about Mr. Parker/Travis.
Like if you always side with Kenny, Lilly would call you and Kenny murderers and in episode 3, she'd basically just push Lee out of RV without saying anything to her.
And yeah, Ben should've said that, making Kenny remember what he said before, "Remember what Ben said, gotta destroy the brain."
And that makes her "downright" evil because...?
I feel like the references towards Lilly all season were leading up to Jane vs Kenny. Even Kenny can admit that Jane felt like another "Lilly situation".
Plus I feel like another unrealistic return would be a jump the shark moment for the series.
Why shouldn't she?
No, GOD no. I'm gonna kill the b!tch the goddamn moment I see her ugly ass face (Well, except if the plot demands to become friends with her, just like most other characters in s1 & s2)
I'm still not sure whether Telltale will show Kenny and Jane (longer than 5-10 min, that is), let alone bring Lilly from Season 1.
Yes, that's true, but also kinda ridiculous.
I have a feeling it's gonna start of with us looking at a dead Jane/Kenny/Walker
I don't know, she never acts like that, when I first played it, I didn't realize her hatred towards Lee grew, well if you be a jerk to her all the time throughout episodes 1 to 3, I don't know what'll happen. "evil" is not the kind of word I would describe Lilly. She's always stressed and angered easily.
I'm confused. Did I insinuate that she's evil when you first responded or something?
Not true at all. We had season 2 endings where you could be with Kenny/Jane and Telltale says they're making the endings matter thru playable flashbacks. It is practically guaranteed that we will see more of them. Lilly, on the other hand, has been gone since halfway through season 1 and there have been no actual clues or suggestions that she would return. Telltale pulled that card with Kenny and I don't think they could pull it again.
The choice of siding with Lilly from episodes 1 to 3 will probably matter if Clem was to have a chat with her alone. Some players would to have to replay season 1 to see how her additude will change. Although I forgot to mention that Lilly doesn't actually HATE Clementine, there were scenes that showed her nice side to the girl.
So yeah, Lilly will probably not show heartlessness to Clementine in S3. Her hatred is mostly towards Kenny and Lee (Depending on how you treated her).
She also gave Clementine her hair ties.
Never say never dude. I'm sure people probably said that about Kenny. Plus, Lilly has more story potential than he did.
Well with Kenny, it was good, because he was an awesome character, now with Lilly, I think she's going to be a threat to Clementine's new group. Although Lilly would despise Lee or not, she wouldn't actually want to hurt Clem. Its probably going to be a choice of "who do you want to side with?" again, like in episode 2, there is the choice
of who you want to sit down with, Luke's group or Kenny's group, this choice actually meant something in episode 5 when Ken talked to Clementine about it.
No, I realized that evil isn't the kind of word i'd say about her, when I should've said about her being stressful and easily triggered.
Oh, okay.
Well, seems pretty unfair that they can resurrect Kenny whenever they want so he can be an important character in Season 2 but they can't at least show us the dead corpse of Lily if they didn't want her in the game anymore.
Why would Clementine hate her?
She wasn't close to Doug, maybe a bit to Carley but not that much to make her hate Lily the same way a Lee who wanted to romance Carley.
never dude
She "pops up" in a dream where clementine is back in the rv, shes there like everyone else is. The reason they talk about it is for lee to give clementine context on arvo shooting her, jane hiding the baby and kenny killing jane for little evidence. There isnt a right answer etc.
Also this was in season 2 they hadnt even started season 3 yet.
Because there is no benefit to her character coming back, its like christa or kenny. Whats the point of distracting from the new cast with an old face again? Especially lilly which a large group of fans absolutely despise.
Uh i'm doubtful there. Also Im hoping they finally try with choices however im really dubious at this point. Choices from previous seasons i'd say 90% wont matter at all, bar a bit of clem dialogue.
Oh, foq q 2!
I thought Telltale games twittered months ago that we were going to be expecting some "surprises" for S3, I mean, the ONLY people we didn't see die are Molly, Lilly, and Christa (she wasn't at Wellington).
Well theres also Bonnie, Mike, and Arvo (kinda hope they don't return, especially Arvo, the other two ran from the group because of Kenny).
If she was to cross paths with Lilly, she probably wouldn't actually be mad she survived, unless she talks trash about Lee (depending on how you treated her and Larry), that would make Clementine angry.
A large group of fans also absolutely adore her, there's nothing wrong with bringing in a character from the past - Clementine is a recurring old face that distracts from the new cast if you want to go by that logic, yet it's okay for her to continue showing because many dub TTG's series as her story? The benefits would be dependent on her role in the story, considering a character adds no benefit without an actual role to play in the plot.
Yeah I agree, she's like the only member left of Lee's group who hasn't been confirmed dead, it'd actually be cool to see another familiar face who doesn't despise Clementine and Lee (determinate of how you treat Lilly). Kenny will probably die again and will probably be a flashback if Clem tagged along with him during season 2's ending choice.
Lilly is dead. Season 1, 400 days. If you leave here behind she can be found dead in 400 days. But if she escapes she is lost and she could have survived but I don't think so.
Sorry, it is my stupidity. Lilly hasn't been found.
Both Carley and Doug are rotted as of now, Lilly's body has not been found yet if she died.
Oh, well. Im going to play it again now to refresh my mind. Sorry.
Whoops, forgot she gave those to her for sleeping. You can tell she really isn't all bad, she has a soft spot for children and people she can trust. Carley said to Lee in episode 3 "your all she has left", if you tell her you told Lilly Lee's past.
Because if Lilly comes back they'll likely just kill her off eventually anyway, not to mention the amount of plot breaking they'll have to do for her to just run into clementine again. Just like Kenny.
Clementine is who we play as? I dont quite get what you mean there, thats why shes still around and the game pretty much follows her as the main character.
I have the same view of other major characters, I'd rather imagine they are alive rather than bring them back to die. I'd prefer to have a christa than an omid happen
Screw you Lilly.
