6 or more episode season?

Since will have two episodes premier on December 20th to me it seems this season will have more episodes than just five (like Game of Thrones).

  • No unfortunately it is 5 episodes. They are releasing the first 2 episodes and splitting it into 2 parts which im not a fan of. It is only 5 episodes

  • Let's do a change.org petition and ask for a sixth episode¿

I won't expect it to work, but it could be fun.

  • It's still a normal five episode series. They are releasing both episodes 1 and 2 at once.

  • See, this really confuses me. The way Kevin Bruner explained it was that episode 1 was so big that they had to make it a two parter but everyone else is saying they're just releasing EPS 1 & 2 on the same day. I don't understand.

  • What's going on is that Telltale is releasing two episodes on the same day, but instead of it being two separate episodes it's the same episode split into two parts. The Ties that Bind Part 1 & The Ties that Bind Part 2 are the name of the two upcoming episodes, I believe. For whatever reason Telltale is counting The Ties that Bind Part 2 as a stand alone episode even though it's still part of episode one. So, what that means is that we'll get The Ties that Bind Part 1 as episode one, The Ties that Bind Part 2 as episode two, and then only three more episodes after that. I was extremely confused at first, but that's what I've gathered from reading through the forums. If I'm completely off base, someone is free to correct me.

  • My problem about this is that they said the game will have 5 episodes and they didn't expect episode 1 to be that long.
Now they understood that episode 1 was too long and they had to split it in 2 parts but still promising 5 episodes.
It makes me think they will just cut 1 full episode to keep it still at 5.

Also considering that they didn't expect episode one to be long in the get-go, what you said sounds even more possible.

I also hope that this "splitting" doesn't make the episodes shorter. I still want each one to be an hour and a half+ long. Not 50min each.
