Is Kenny Alive offscreen in the present if you decide to stay in wellington or

hey guys I was just wondering you see I want Kenny to live in my story because I believe I is a vital character to the series and I reckon there should more than just clementine from the original group to be alive anyways I feel like if you leave wellington and stay with Kenny he's just gonna die in A New Frontier well I was wondering on if you decide to abandon Kenny or stay in wellington and leave him that is he still alive in the present of season 3 just off-screen. what are your thoughts?

  • How should we know?

  • Unless they confirm he's dead somehow. To me, he's alive out there somewhere

  • yeah man that's what I think to believe but I don't think on the walking dead wiki they should put him down as unknown if you stay in wellington cause I mean you last see him still alive as it ends.

  • I stayed with Kenny but if he dies because of that and leaving him at Wellington changes his fate to unkown, i'll go back and stay.

  • Lilly is marked unknown though we last saw her alive.

  • Clementine tells Javier some people looked after her. When he asked what happened to them, she says "the same thing that happened to everyone" Take that as you will, but Telltale Game has a poor track record with expanding on determinant characters.

  • yeah i agree so thats why im thinking of leaving kenny at the rest stop or stay in wellington just so he can be counting as alive in my story cause in i believe the best way to save a determinant character from telltale is too leave them because determinant characters are cursed around the main character anyways dont u find kenny has more potential because hes one of the only two remaining people of the original group cause come on he has the second most appearances for a character not just in walking dead but in the entire series of telltale gaming.

  • [Rocks back and forth, arms wrapped around legs.]

    I got lucky; real lucky; I got lucky; real lucky;

  • Technically his status is unknown in that scenario.

  • Im hoping that our season 2 endings will work like this: Clem tells Javier about her pass, and we pick up at the parts where our endings were, this way if you are say, with Kenny, he appears only during those scenes, meaning all of Clem's flashback scenes will be determinate. I hope that we learn that Kenny/Jane are infact NOT dead and will maybe appear in the present in the last episode. And if it comes to it, and they really need to be gone from the story forever, I hope they just get separated like Christa, instead of going, well, they are determine so they need to be dead, no other outcome!

  • If we last saw him dead, he would be dead.

  • well to me kenny should continue to appear in season 3 as he is like the most used characte choices throughout the series

  • Yeah i'd say so. And if you leave him/jane by the car after the fight. Soon that might be the only way to keep them alive

  • It'll probably be left up to interpretation, personally I think the second he was out of view he killed himself tbh.
