2 questions
So I see these things pop up, sometimes and I kinda have questions about them.
Why do lots of people dislike javier in season 3? I hear a lot of people say they don't like him, but why?
Some people say that season 2 had a lot of mistakes. Such as?
If someone could answer, it'd be great

Because people only want to play as Clementine and want absolutely no change or variety whatsoever. I'm not on the same boat and I'm curious to play as Javier.
Many have cited lack of character development, dumb decisions by said characters, and an unfocused narrative. I don't neccecarily agree with all of this, but those are the most common that I've heard around here.
I don't hate Javier myself, I'll reserve judgement till the game comes out, but I dislike that Telltale insist on giving Clementine the backseat when she's the character everyone cares about.
Maybe Telltale can impress with this guy though, we shall see.
Err, no. Thats just one of the many reasons people dont like him. I personally dont like him because I don't prefer 2 playable characters over one, its just not as immersful for me and it can get annoying switching back to the other character when you prefer one over the other, or if it was just getting good playing as one character. I said this earlier that I now realize it will be awkward if people who like Clem will have to play as Javier if they get in any conflicts, at who's side they'd be on. I also don't like the idea of adding a completely new character as the main character, I would have much rathered Kenny (or Jane), or maybe even Luke if he wasn't forced killed, replacing Javier and having them and Clem as the main playables, having two familiar characters that people actually like and that we know and have been the original cast, rather than a new character, and not just having to scrap Kenny or Jane who seem as two of the most important characters of the game and to the players. Some people even just find him annoying at first glance, but I had my reasons. Do I prefer Javier as a main character? No, but I will still play it the first day it comes out.
You know, there is a general questions thread to post small scale questions in, but whatever. Now with that formality out of the way.
I have no problem with Javier...I just think people hate change.
Season 2 had many issues. Here are some.
Season 2 is a slump. TWD:Michonne turned out pretty good..so I have high hopes for ANF.
I co-sign pretty much all of this.
Well just my thoughts...
Now had they not jumped the gun and killed off pretty much the entire cast of season 2, then what would had been so hard and complicated about perhaps making Luke or Nick what Javier is now paired up with Clem? They might not have a kidnapped family but then again why would or should the audience suddenly become so strongly invested into Javier's family they know nothing about right away? And I'm guessing something has to go down with his fam pretty early on in the game like the first episode and the rest of the season is one grand adventure goose hunt for his lost or already dead relatives. At least the comics stick with Rick and likely when Rick's done they might follow someone already well known, liked and close to Rick,, like Carl his son to be the new main character of the comic.
2.Season 2 wasn't the worst game ever at all ..however most people compare it to season 1 and then it is revealed to have quite a bit of shortcomings in comparison to it's predecessor game. But even if you look at season 2 as a stand alone and don't compare to season 1 it still has shortcomings that even Wolf Among Us would seem to have surpassed it in structure and plot.
I don't get why people even have an opinion of Javier. We've only seen him in two minutes of video. I'm not saying anything until I've played the game.
But what's more confusing is that, WHY DO PEOPLE WANT JAVIER TO DIE?
Simple:
