'A New Frontier' Location?
So the First Season of The Walking Dead is obviously and clearly in the state of Georgia as three Georgian cities are in the game (Atlanta, Macon and Savannah) and it constantly mentioned. Season Two of The Walking Dead less obviously takes place in the Virginia and Ohio (if you pursue to go to Wellington). So this is where im left slightly confused, no matter what you choose Clem will make the same appearance (I assume).
Virginia and Ohio, while fairly close could possibly show different paths Clem takes to get to 'A New Frontier'. So what really makes me excited (I'm obsessed with maps and locations if you couldnt tell) is that Telltale in the first two seasons was relatively closed off to Eastern United States (we can assume). Yet because of the fact the new Walking Dead show explored the outbreak in Arizona, California and additionally Mexico I have a feeling this leaves Telltale with more wiggle room for locations to use. There isnt many clues in the trailer about location but at the beginning Javier's family is speaking Spanish. And while there are obviously peolpe all over America who speak Spanish places like Southwest America and Texas have higher amounts of Spanish speakers. So maybe the location is going to be based in the Southwest? Or Javier is simply from the Southwest and goes out east. If it were in the Southwest that also raises the question of how Clementine simply managed to travel all the way across America.

Additionally the trailer at the end shows them walking through a forest? The trees and bush behind Clementine seem rather vague though but I highly doubt the location of Season Three will be in the south west.. The trees behind her though do look smaller than the long pine ones Clementine encountered in Season two.
So maybe the location will be different? Not Virginia or Ohio based on what looks like slight tree differences to me but probably not the southwest. I'm obviously overthinking this but if anybody has ideas on where it could be or maybe im missing some key information do tell!

I believe they have said that most of this game will take place in Virginia.
Also given the fact that they have said that this game will take place close to where they currently are in the comic timeline and we will see some comic characters in it mostly cuts down on a lot of other possible areas outside of Virginia.
Considering that Javier is of Cuban descent, and that Miami is known to be the city with the highest number of Cuban exiles, he probably lived in Miami, Florida, and therefore the segments showing the start of the outbreak from his perspective also probably take place there.

Didnt Kenny live in northern Florida? and yes Miami does have lots of Cubans but the house they were in looked rather rural?
Oh yeah youre right actually! It says on the Wiki he is Cuban American, Florida seems very possible.
Telltale has stated that it's pretty close to Virginia and that we would be seeing "well-known comic characters". I'm thinking we could either be in Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, or Washington DC.
