400 days characters

seeing how S3 is coming out soon looking back at previous TWD installments do you think we'll see any 400 days characters in season 3?. I liked Nate from 400 days and would like to see him come back but after S2 i'm not sure the 400 days characters will be coming back.

  • No they're dead and forgotten about. They didn't have anything planned for them for season 2 and they won't for 3

  • Oh goodie--another one of these threads!

I personally wouldn't mind seeing Shel again, with Taavia, Becca, and Bonnie being more pressing due to their potential but I doubt it at this point.

  • I saw at least two 400 DAys characters in S2.

  • I think a moderator should merge this discussion with the other 400 Days one.

  • They all appear if you get them all to team carver.

    They have bit appearances though.

  • Oh wow. I stand corrected. They had a massive plot planned for them in season 2. They were in Carver's camp so had a HUGE impact on the story. The only one they had plans for was Bonnie as she goes with Tavia no matter what. The others had no impact whatsoever. The 400 day characters as background characters does not count as TTG having plans for them for season 2. Other than generic dialogue that could've been said by ANYONE. they did nothing.

  • Seriously? I specifically said they had bit parts. I, in no way implied they were important.

    Grow up.

  • Its pretty sad because if you look at the video that has every 400 Days cameo from s2, it is not even a minute and a half long. Pretty disappointing use of the dlc characters, asides from Bonnie.

  • Nate was one of the most interesting characters in 400 days and I imagine he would have a great back story if he was in season 3 - hopefully we see him but I doubt we will

That's not confirmed. Also, they were planned to play roles in Season 2 - Bonnie played a significant one whilst all the others only really got a cameo, apart from Tavia who got a minor role. You can keep spouting that they had no plans for them in Season 2 but their determinant appearances and the staff saying 400 Days would impact Season 2 beg to differ, whether they would've originally had significant roles or not, no one actually knows, as they did change writers and made allot of significant changes to the story throughout Season 2.

  • I think the worst part of it is that Bonnie doesn't really have any content that is determined based off of her story in 400 Days.

  • It would have been cool to have her either be honest to a fault or a compulsive liar based on her 400 Days choice. I guess they went more towards the second one

  • It would've been nice if we got to converse with all of them, like ask them questions about themselves and actually see them play a large enough role, like perhaps:

    • If Vince went to Howe's - He could end up shooting and killing Nick at the end of Episode 3 and then either Clementine or Rebecca would end up killing him, this could lead to a discussion about what happened with Rebecca is she shot him with Carver's gun.
    • If Shel and Becca went to Howe's - Becca could've been mocking Sarah at some point and Clementine could've gotten the option to fight her, this could've lead with Shel either breaking the fight up and threatening Clementine or solely punishing Becca.
    • If Wyatt went to Howe's - He could've garrisoned outside where everyone else was and Clementine could've asked him questions about why he was here and maybe even include him in the plan but if he did decide to join Clementine and the crew, he would end up getting shot by Carver as the group reached the shed.
    • If Russell went to Howe's - He could've been sent by Troy to check out what was happening with Mike and Kenny and end up helping Clementine from the walkers in the store and Clementine could've had the option to warn him about their escape plan so he'd be prepared to leave on his own.

They could've mixed things up like that, would've been cool in my opinion :3

  • All of those would've been great ways to showcase the dlc characters a bit more, especially using them as hub characters. Would have been really nice to get some background about what happened between season 1 and 2, and whether Wyatt/Russell ever found news of their loved ones.

  • Yeah, to be honest, sometimes I wish they'd have a Remake of Season Two - just to ADD things, not necessarily change anything!
