Fate of the Five endings in Season 3

Hi there guys. I am making this thread so you can share your opinion before (and if you want after) the Season premiers. In case anyone forgot Walking Dead Game Season 2 had five distinctive endings, which were:

1) With Kenny at Welllington.

2) With Jane and the family at Howe's.

3) Alone in Wellington.

4) Alone with Jane at Howe's.

5) Alone and living in walker herds.

I want you guys to give your honest opinion on 4 things: Which one did you pick/prefer? Do you think they will have any impact on the season? And IF you do, to what extent? And finally how would YOU like it to impact the Season?

When answering keep in mind that 3 of the images shown in the picture previews are Wellington and Howe's, so they maybe featured to some extent.

    1. I left Wellington with Kenny
    2. Probably only when Clem tells Javier about herself
    3. Im guessing it will almost be like 5 different small determinate stories for everyone
    4. Im hoping that by the end, the ending will be important to the present time with Javier and Clem, I'd reeeeally prefer if Telltale goes all out and doesnt just kill off Kenny/Jane

So you would like it if they actually show up alive for at least 1 or 2 eps?

Im hoping that Clem tells what happened to her from ep 1 -4, and although this is unlikely, then Kenny and Jane are with us in ep 5. So, Im just hoping that they wont die at all, I hope Telltale notices they dont need to kill EVERY determinate character. If anything make them get lost forever, its better than being uncreative.

I think wasteful and cheap are better words.

  • I at least I think they work better for what you're saying.

  • My Clementine is with Kenny. I don't think the endings will have much impact. I'm pretty positive we will get flashbacks to show us what happened at the end of season 2 but that's about it. I highly doubt Kenny or Jane will be in the present time. I do hope however, that Telltale will take season 2 and our choices into consideration (including the endings) when it comes to Clem's portrayal in A New Frontier.

    Examples:

    • How she reacts to strangers, if she is distrusting or is willing to give them a chance: This could be determined by some of our decisions throughout season 2. If you didn't trust Bonnie when you first met her, if you didn't trust Arvo, if you didn't choose to accept the family in the Jane ending, if you didn't trust Jane when Luke asks you about her (since at that point, she's pretty much still a stranger too), etc.

    • If she is kind, compassionate, forgiving, etc. or the opposite. Which could be affected by how you treated Sarah, if you tried to help her, talk to her or if you were aggressive, impatient with her. The same with Rebecca. She doesn't treat you well at first but later you can be nice to her, calm her down, reassure her, or not; if you accepted Nick's apology; if you forgave Jane/Kenny; if you gave water to the dying man; if you put the dog out of his misery, etc.

I really want that whole #MyClementine thing to come to life and make sense now. The last thing I want is to feel like S03 Clem is the opposite of what my Clem was back in season 2. That would just make the past seasons completely pointless. She sounds really cold and unemotional in the preview and that makes me scared. I know a lot of things happened between season 2 and now, but I hope Telltale won't make Clementine their own character because of that, while ignoring the fact that she was ours once too.

  • That absolutely is a huge question going into Season 3 and I have to say I'm really anticipating how they'll make that decision mean something. They really went out on a limb with the end of Season 2 and it was really cool. So here we are.

I've done pretty much every ending except the heard one and telling the people to leave, the latter because someone else did it with me watching. I did see the herd one on youtube.

Honestly though I think they'll basically gloss it over. I think they'll answer to the following:
1.) Kenny's injury will be worse than they thought, get infected and Kenny will die and they'll go back to Wellington and goes to 3.)
2.) Jane will leave and the group will fall apart when the food runs out and they are forced to leave to the herd.
3.) Wellington gets attacked or runs out of food and they are forced to leave to the herd.
4.) Jane will leave and Howe's food will run out so they are forced to leave to the herd.
5.) I think that will be the "master" result, meaning that all other results move to "living with the herd."

As you can see, all those endings are basically the same in discussion so when they talk later and say, "it fell apart and we ran out of food" it doesn't matter what choice you made at the end of Season 2.

Now if I'm wrong I'm going to applaud TellTale so much, but I won't judge if they don't do that. They have my sympathy with writing these games.
