Limited Engagement: Crowd Play 'The Walking Dead: A New Frontier' in London & NYC!
Fellow survivors,
First off --- we wanted to thank you all for your excitement as we rapidly approach the December 20th two-part, two-episode premiere for The Walking Dead: A New Frontier!
It's been a long wait for this third season.... and as our team works behind the scenes to get everything ready for the 20th, we wanted to try to do something very special for fans ahead of launch...
Before our premieres, we often like to let the biggest Telltale fans out there get a chance to come and play our games together in theaters and screening rooms across the world.
This coming week, we'll be in both London and NYC, and we would like to open our doors to a limited number of fans to come and test out our crowd play feature of both Episode One: Ties Bind - Part 1 & Episode Two: Ties That Bind - Part 2!
The first screening will be in London's Soho Screening Room on Wednesday Dec 14th at 7pm.
Address: 14 D'Arblay St, London, W1F8DY
In order to attend, please send an email using the subject line 'London Fan Event' with your name, age, a request for a seat in our theater to the following email: special_events@telltale.com
Attendees must be at least 18 years of age unless accompanied by a parent or guardian. Attendees under 13 will not be permitted.
Only one seat may be reserved per email request, so if you would like to bring friends, and you SHOULD bring friends, please have them email a separate individual request for a seat. Entry is free as long as you RSVP - but in order to cut down on overbooking free seats if people cannot attend -- we ask they all attendees RSVP individually -- as this is a special, limited engagement event, and our screening room will only hold 44 very lucky fans.
We'll be playing both episodes together, we'll talk about the series, and may even have some cool giveaways for Telltale fans... don't forget to bring your cell phone or tablet, charged and ready to help make choices as part of the audience while we play on the big screen!
For fans in New York --- the second screening will be on Friday December 16th at 7pm at the Villain Event Space, in Brooklyn.
Address: 50 N. 3rd St, Brooklyn, NY 11249
In order to attend, please send an email using the subject line 'NYC Fan Event' with your name, age, a request for a seat in our theater to the following email: special_events@telltale.com
Again -- space will be limited in NYC as well - so please help ensure that all attendees email for a space, or let us know how many in your party will be attending. Attendees must be at least 18 years of age unless accompanied by a parent or guardian. Attendees under 13 will not be permitted.
We're looking forward to Crowd Playing the premiere with you -- so RSVP as soon as you can, make sure your friends do as well, and we'll see you there for these limited engagement early screenings of the two-part premiere before Dec 20th!

You failed the bold text a couple times there.
On my way, Job. It'll cost me a couple thousand dollars I don't have but who cares it's The Walking Dead.
LA (or SF!) please! Us Californian fans would love it
I would love to go to the London event but i cannot make it there next week but i am really looking forward to playing it when it releases.
I'm confused. Did it cost you 5.60$ or 560$?
What a waste...London people...anyone in the UK...they are undeserving....what about the Midwest...we deserve some love.
An airplane flight for $5?
hah, man I wish
Are you really spending a couple of grand just to watch someone play the game..3 days before release?
Let's not call other people "undeserving" just because of where they live, please.
Give my love to the homeless you pass on the way to the show.
Yeah! Fuck those people in a populated city overseas! There should be a crowd play in the very populated state of Iwoa, boasting a WHOLE 3 million people!
Sigh...sarcasm is wasted. I love the people of the UK except any of those marmite....those people are just not right.
Well with the way they show the price, who knows? ;p
As someone outside of London in the UK, I share your pain.
Although I'm surprised TellTale are having an event in the UK altogether.
I literally sat here for a good 5mins thinking to myself "man I wish I could afford a flight to go see this" and then I was like "Wtf I live in Scotland, I don't even need a plane".
No more drink for me tonight.

So, are you going to London on foot?
By train
Oh.
Oh okay.
Will we be able to watch the gameplay on youtube?
No. The people at crowd play aren't allowed to record anything on the screen.
Did it start?
They've been playing for over an hour and a half now.
They're waiting for ep2 now.
Ugh, I want details almost as much as I don't want to be spoiled lol
How's the performance? Any FPS issues?
Ep1 seems to be a 109 mins episode.
It works okay, no FPS issues.
Ep2 started
You are there?
Oh, boy, tell me all about Capricorn Farm in a private message¿
Edited section
This "¿" symbol means sarcasm.
They bring back any hubs?
When there are actual people playing this actual game that you have waited 3 actual years for
How would you know? You wouldn't!
Unless
Oh my God
You can't
Are you
Are you there?
My heart, my mind, and my soul cannot handle that you're playing it early
I don't know if I should scold or praise you for taking these pictures.
I don't care, keep doing it.
Yup. Flew here yesterday.
Kidding. It says it starts at 7pm in the threads description. It's 9 there now.
So an hour and 49 minutes? thats actually good imo.
How did they start the game? Did they use the new generator?
I'm not looking at this thread anymore! No spoilers for me! :P
