Eh... I realised that my comment might've sounded a bit passive-agressive. My bad.
I'd argue that Jane made that plan with the intention to show Clem how unstable Kenny was and not to get him killed, but we don't want a Kenny vs Jane fight in such a nice thread. : p
I just think it's quite sad dying like that (considering she's one of my favourites, it makes it even worse to watch)... she probably felt betrayed in the end.
True but, without trying to turn this into some kind of Kenny v Jane type thing:
Jane hides baby, pretends baby is dead to fight Kenny, tells Clem to not get involved, then wants Clem to save her after her plan to kill Kenny fails.
"When he's grown, you tell him about his mommy and his daddy and all the people who tried to keep him safe. You tell him, okay? He deserves to know. I-I got...Oh, here, here. Take this. Takes off hat When he...when he's old enough, you make him wear it. It'll...It'll keep the sun out of his eyes. That's important. All right...Good. You...You take care of Alvin here...You...You live a good life, okay? Don't waste this. Okay? Now...I'm gonna go...I'm gonna go before one of us Inhales and breathes deeply Before one of us changes their mind. Now...I'm gonna walk away and...I might not look back...Not 'cause I don't want to...I'm real glad to have met you, Clementine...
No it is a reference to a Walking Dead Episode called The Grove....A mentally disturbed girl named Lizzie cannot understand that Walkers are not people. She says we all change...but walkers are still people. In the grove she kills her little sister to prove it. Carol takes Lizzie out to pick flowers...Lizzie truly does not understand why Carol and Tyreese are upset. Carol tells her that she is loved and things will be ok. Then tells her to look at the flowers...pretty images calm Lizzie down...and shoots her because they realize that Lizzie is a threat to any child or adult and cannot be trusted. It is a very heartbreaking episode.
Lee: "You're strong clem, you...you can do anything."
Clem: "But, I'm little."
Lee: "Doesn't mean nothin'. You're gonna see bad stuff but...it's okay..."
...
Lee: "In Macon, the first days we met. Remember?"
Clem: "Yeah. I do."
Lee: "When I went out to rescue that boy, Glenn, I met a girl..she'd been bitten, too. And all she wanted was to not come back as a walker."
Clem: "Lee..."
Lee: "And I remember how hard it was to do that, but I'm glad I did. You don't want to see me like one of them."
Clem: "Okay, Lee. I can do it. I can."
Lee: "Kenny."
Kenny: "What."
Lee: "Ken!"
Kenny: "What the hell is that?"
Lee: "Your son's blood-nothing you seem to care about."
Kenny: "F-ck you. You don't know what I care about. I care about getting ALL of us to the ocean. With, or WITHOUT you."
Lee: "Your right, I don't know. You've killed people. Larry's blood is on your hands, and you can't f-cking handle it. But I know you care for Kat and Duck more than anything. So what the f-ck is this?"
Kenny: "Leave me alone."
Lee: "Kenny!"
Kenny: "Go back there and tell my wife that everything is fine. What's the big deal? He's a little sick, but we can't just quit. He's not like the others-Jesus, all ya'll are just making it worst!"
Lee: "This isn't about Duck-"
Kenny: "The hell it isn't! You think we're pals? You think you know me? You're some elitist prick with a fancy education who can pick me apart?"
Lee: "It's not like that."
Kenny: "The hell it's not."
Lee: "You think you're the reason Duck was bitten, like you had this comin' or somthing?"
Kenny: "....."
Lee: "You feel guilty. Like you killed any chance of a miracle for Duck when you ran away from Shawn Greene. There ain't no room for that sh-t here, this isn't about you! It's about a woman back there who needs her husband, and a boy who needs his dad!"
Kenny: "...There ain't no way this world let's my son live, when I helped put someone else's in the ground."
Lee: "Stop the train, man."
Kenny stops the train immediately
btw, I typed most of this just from memory when I got kenny to stop the train with just my words and without resorting to violence (:
I FORGOT THAT LINE! wow, clementine ... thats mad still... one of the most powerful lines. when she said that when i first played it, it made me feel like i was guilty...

"Where they don't have to look at you and feel ashamed at what they put ya through"
Btw I'm not even a Kenny fan lol, but this line, this fucking line.

"It's just that... Kenny seems broken to me. And broken people get reckless."
This quote is absolutely true!! It was proven with Lilly in S1 and Kenny in S2.
After Lilly lost her father, she was already tense and annoyed, but after her father was murdered by the hands of the one she despised the most, she broke down completely. Her broken spirit is what lead to Doug/Carly's deaths.
After Kenneth lost Katjaa and Duck, all in the same day, he was already a broken man, one who would do anything to get revenge on the boy he already disliked. However, Ken does show a form of mercy once Ben had dropped in the ally by not letting the Walkers get to him, first. But in S2, after Ken lost Sarita, that's when he snapped. Blaming anyone who he thought was the sole cause for something, other than himself of course; beating Arvo, killing/wanting to kill Jane.
I actually have a bit of a theory on that as well; Carlo had said something about a possibility of damage to the brain after Ken was beaten by Carver. That's what, in my personal opinion, lead Kenny to such harsh and violent outbursts towards both Clementine and Arvo (I STILL stand up for the guy). There could've been some damage to the brain, enough to make Kenny NOT Kenny.
Anyways, that quote is probably the saddest and most truest one.
"rawr...rawwwr..rawwr." Walker_23 To Kenny before he bit Kenny's face. To me is was a moment of self reflection about man's place in the world. Very poignant.
I remember when I made a poignant observation about this...and it got derailed by a flood of negative replies because some people are petty 13 year olds.

This was back in December when Gaybentime was just a joke that so many paranoid fanboys overreacted about. Unfortunately, Telltale decided to troll everyone in Thicker than Water by having it happen for real despite Gabe himself not being that interested in the notion previously.

No.
Lee and Clems goodbye always gets me. The music, the dialogue, TT really did a great job with the two of them.
Woah, spoilers!
Sorry....I cry your pardon Gunslinger.
I have a few lines from the game.
Lee: "You're strong clem, you...you can do anything."

This has to be the saddest line in the game. Gavin is fucking awesome at delivering heartbreaking moments.
So glad I left with Kenny, I don't want to hear Kenny say that man it's so much happier leaving with him.
Which is why I regret staying at Wellington
"10 minutes? Man, that's longer than I'd last at this point. "
"It's just that... Kenny seems broken to me. And broken people get reckless."

Saddest is that Clementine wasn't ever given a line to tell Kenny what's on her mind and to slap him silly until he gets his stuff together already.
Sighs

"Te quiero, Gabriel. Te quiero, Marianna. Te quiero, Javier."
Prob one of my favorite scenes in the entire season
Is that David? When is this?
It's a fantastic episode IMO, you should watch it as soon as you have the chance.
"What do you have to say for yourself, brother?"
"I love you..."
The David-only-dead ending,
"Parents just love pretending that we don't hear"
"I wouldn't know"
"rawr...rawwwr..rawwr." Walker_23 To Kenny before he bit Kenny's face. To me is was a moment of self reflection about man's place in the world. Very poignant.

☹️ they must've been mad Cause gave got to kiss Clem

I don't see anything.
Just like the hope for s4
Kenny - What if Lee hadn't gone tearing across half of Georgia looking for you ?
Clem - Maybe he shouldn't have...
Kenny after a few seconds - I should have slap you for what you just said
Don't remember the lines exactly but something like that
kenny: don't you fret little guy, little sister's gonna take care of you.
also aj calling out for clem as she's walking away...
and,
gabe: you may have not been my father javi, but you were a great dad.
I've always wondered if clem was just being cautious or honest if the player chose this.
Yeah.."I ought to slap you for that."
