That scene only ends badly if you have Bruce Wayne say he's in love with Selina.
That shouldn't come as a surprise, as Catwoman makes it clear from the start that she isn't looking to get tied down. Also, Bruce is coming on way too strong if you have him confess undying love for her. They only spent one night together.
If you instead have Bruce say "We had fun, didn't we?" and tell her you made a good team, they'll part on good terms, kiss, and she'll smile & respond "maybe" if Bruce's final dialogue choice is, "See ya around?" Bruce will also get a postcard from her at the end.
I was really pissed with what happened, but after giving her another chance and saying there's something more to her, I could see that she wants to believe it. She even says Bruce was a lot more than she expected. I forgave her, kissed her goodbye, and if she's back in Season 2, I'll be overjoyed. What she did was bad, but she's a criminal, and criminals don't turn to the light just like that. She is a criminal, but that's not all she is.
I choose to remain platonic with Selina. Harvey and Selina's interactions in episode one, in tandem with the toying way she had him wrapped around her finger, made her off-limits in my eyes. I'm kind of thankful I didn't go down that path, because while I care immensely for Selina, that sucker-punch at the end would have really hurt.
From a scene perspective, I found it pretty strong in my playthrough, though I'd understand feeling a bit cheated otherwise. When I first encountered her, I was absolutely teething, despite having an idea of what she was up to. Things ended for me with a twinge of sadness and wistfulness as we hugged and said our goodbyes, but it all felt so right. A few lines seemed as if the game thought me and Selina slept together, but they were vague enough, so I don't take issue.
Selina has made it clear that she isn't one for an intense commitment, so while bittersweet and maddening, her leaving felt perfect for her character, even if you did romance her. At least you got the card, right? Don't words made from miles away make everything better? Seriously though, my condolences. Selina is definitely more than just a thief to me. She may enjoy the thrill, but she feels an emptiness too. She wants more from life, despite the acts she puts on and her enjoyment of the thrill. She is my friend, we were a team. Though with all this said, she is a criminal too. You can't tie her down, especially so soon. I know that she does care for Bruce though, probably differently, depending on what you've done. Yeah, she definitely was playing Bruce in some ways, but that's who she is. Not only, of course. Oh Selina. I'm not coherent right now. Sorry.
Do you mean the postcard? Yeah, i didn't get that at the end. I was hostile towards her the whole conversation. Our conversation ended with her saying we were back to square one: enemies and i told her that i now saw her as nothing more then a thief. I'm not hurt romantically over this, i know Selina's character. I just don't give second chances. Same with Harvey and Oswald. I told Alfred that i didn't need friends anymore. @Kenny726

I understand. I just finished the game shortly, so I wasn't aware that you could miss out on receiving the postcard. I understand forgoing trust, too. Bruce has gone through a lot of shit with his personal relationships as of late, and developing a more cold disposition is just as fitting as holding onto hope. Second chances are hard to give out, and with the pay-off Bruce received from the majority of his personal relationships, shutting out others and becoming more strict with regards to relationships seems more and more valid.
With Oz, I was extremely angered, and while I wouldn't want to be his buddy, I would have been willing to turn him away from the dark side, despite it being impossible due to his strict dedication to his cause. Harvey? Well, the drug stripped away his ability to combat his demons, and with that humanizing struggle, I find it difficult to actually be angry with him. Yeah, yeah. Throw me in Arkham, try to kill me, blow up an entire city block, and I'll still remain by your side and shower you with my undying support. That attitude has its merits, though it probably isn't the most rational. Harvey can no longer suppress the impulses of his other personality, and I just can't find myself angry or disappointed with him, you know? That shit broke my heart.
At least you have Alfred, am I right?
I was kind of struggling to just say what I thought, and I'm really sorry if it sounded like I was speaking for everyone. Seriously, if I came off negatively in any way, I didn't mean it.

Does Alfred get a second chance? Not telling a nine -year-old is one thing but he was claiming Thomas was an A++ guy even after the allegations started until Bruce found proof.

I kinda wish that Bruce was the one who rejected her because then he has nothing to loose. Those who doesn't understand Catwoman/Selina will definitely enraged with her if she's the one who end things with Bruce because of her actions and dialogue. And also the fact that there is an "I love you" choice was so out of character of Bruce. I think it's a click bait choice especially for the adolescent guys (who the hell will say I love you to a person you just met few days ago and have one night stand with?!).
See now what you did Telltale, people hates Selina's guts. Good luck putting her on season 2. (I do loved what you did to her character in episode 1,2,3).
I guess it was fitting that Catwoman, being the ultimate Femme Fatale that she is, had been stringing us along from the very beginning. I certainly didn't see it coming.
Of course, I wish there could have been a more significant role for Selina to play in everything, especially depending on our actions towards her and whether we romanced her or not. As it is, we had a major character/love interest/female lead whose role in the story and screentime was drastically reduced after episode 3, which is pretty disappointing given how integral she had been previously.
We never even got to see her in her Catwoman costume again.
Telltale seemed to be really building up our relationship/dynamic and then it took a sharp nosedive in the last two episodes. The BatCat fan me is a little disappointed, even if I felt the writing was still ultimately on-point.
(who the hell will say I love you to a person you just met few days ago and have one night stand with?!).
Well, when you live a life of eccentric vengeance/justice fighting the crime, you know you could die anytime since Gotham doesn't exactly has a lot of "sane" villains, hell my Bruce died like 50 times in the whole serie because I am terrible with the quick buttons, anyway, love is very hard to find for someone like Bruce.
He just met two interesting and beautiful girls, one resulted to be a crazy supervillain, and the other was a terrible thief that never managed to stole anything.
Bruce is not exactly young, he is 31, and I don't think he has ever been married or fell in love with someone. Hell he could even be a virgin.

He could be but I have a hard enough time understanding why people think the guy heavy into charity and reform and politics is a playboy without him never actually getting anywhere with anyone. He certainly goes from 0 to 60 pretty fast with Selina if it's his first time ever.

Well, people don't know that he is Batman, so of course they think the billionaire Bruce Wayne in the times when nobody can see him, he is having fun with some girls.
And the 0 to 60... Well Bruce didn't really acted like a shy virgin, but why would he? he has fought terrible villains, and is not so hard, after all we just saw the kissing part, we don't know if Bruce asked Selina where is he supposed to put his Batarang,

Honestly, I had already friendzoned her before, but I still didn't see it coming when it was revealed she was toying the whole time. Damn she was a good liar. As mad as I was though, I still told her she had the capability to be a good person. Because at the end of the day, what's the end goal we're trying to achieve here? Are we trying to get revenge on Selina to make ourselves feel better, or are we trying to do our part to add one more good person to Gotham.
I thought that at this time, Bruce had known Selina for a few months, not days. I chose the I love you option as Bruce saw her as different than other women. She was a balance to him and she was exotic. Maybe Bruce can change her ? Anyway, at the beginning, I chose to save Harvey as he was my good friend and I barely knew Catwoman at the time. I thought that she could hold her own better than Harvey could also.
I was genuinely hurt by Selina, especially when I found out that she was lying from day one, then she did get feelings for Bruce. I told her that she wasn't just a thief. When she told me about other rich guys that she would con, I was crying. I realized that she was a terrible person with no sense of redemption. I thought that Harvey was just obsessed with her and she didn't like him. She conned us and many others. I told her to leave me alone.

Selina repeated one line time and time again. She doesn't like commitment. What did you guys expect. Too early in the conversation for the line you guys choose. Always let her choose, before you do.
Maybe it was that I didn't sleep with her and certainly didn't fall in love with her but liked her well enough (and totally would have slept with her but I had JUST come form the hospital where Harvey was wondering why she didn't come visit him or at least call and she keeps being so dismissive about using him when he's going through so much and he and Bruce are besties) but I really didn't have a problem with most of the scene. The part where she admitted that she went after Harvey in the first place to meet Bruce so she could steal from him and casually talked about how desperate Harvey was to fall in love was pretty bad. I wouldn't have been happy as Harvey's best friend even if he were thriving as mayor but that wasn't what happened. Selina didn't intend for Harvey to find her and Bruce in the apartment or for Harvey to be drugged and traumatized and may not have even known about his psychological issues so there's only so much blame we can reasonably cast. But she definitely went into that "relationship" with bad faith and knew almost from the start he'd get hurt and didn't care. She didn't intend for things to get that out of control but I think she was right about the apartment being the breaking point. Even if the codex has Bruce believing it's more complicated than that, it didn't help and it destroyed Harvey's faith in Bruce and stopped him from being able to go to him to try and help and be a support system. It led to Harvey institutionalizing him in the two or three critical days when Harvey could fairly easily fend off an attack of his other personality because he doesn't really want to hurt two people he cares about who betrayed him to where Harvey is wondering if he did the right thing while blowing up a building and apologizing to Bruce while he tries to have him murdered.
It's not her fault but she didn't have good motives at all and this is the result.
The rest of it was whatever. She's insisting that one sleepover doesn't make them besties (that's a little dismissive but true I suppose) and that she is very on message about being just a thief and a bad person. She can't understand when you have faith (and how dare she bring up you having to bring Harvey down and get him arrested to whatever stupid robbery she does after everything else that happened with the three of them. You wouldn't go after her the same way and she knows it) until she connects it to you wanting her to stay. She won't, of course, and the intimacy is freaking her out but if you can just push down the complicated and perhaps unfair feelings about her part in the Harvey disaster she is a new friend and someone who knows your secret and it has been fun so just don't come on too strong (there's nothing to come on too strong about. You just hug her and she just awkwardly lets you. You're not confessing undying love on the third date here).
A little distance will be good but she sends a postcard and she'll probably be back sooner or later and who knows? Can't imagine Harvey'd be ready to deal with Bruce and Selina even having a fling anytime soon and I care more about his mental wellbeing than about hooking up with her but they could have some mostly platonic fun when she gets back. Just as long as he remembers that she's probably going to try to steal from him at some point.

Can you not post spoilery things in the title considering the episode isn't out yet for most people?
People won't know what happened in the episode just by the title alone.
Now I think that Selina is gonna fuck up or betray us going into the episode. That will definitely affect my playthrough.
Yeah, fuck selina
I know I did.
I decided to change you title just for the sake of people who want to go in completely blind.
Never cared for Catwoman. Glad this game didn't focus on shipping.

Yeah, she kinda pissed me off in that scene. But, on the bright side, it made me feel better about not following a romantic path with her.
Though it was implied they had sex.
And they didn't.
Which was weird.
I'm glad i friendzoned her lyin ass.
She won't be writing my Bruce anytime soon. We're back to being enemies.
It definitely spoiled her role in the episode for me, in the future just don't include the persons name in the title is all.

I remained loyal to justice, so I didn't really feel bad at all. In fact, treating her like what she is, a thief, was quite satisfying.

Exactly.
Unlike most TellTale games, the "safe" option with Selina isn't the sweet ones, but the playful ones. That's how she goes, that's her personality.
My Bat will be seeing some more of a certain Cat eventually :P
Same for me

Me too, I was satisfied with how that whole segment played out for me.
