Is The Walking Dead Season 3: A New Frontier Cancelled for Xbox 360 & PS3

Hi there so I was wondering since the new trailer of A New Frontier came out and it said its only coming out for X1, PS4, PC, Steam and others not for Xbox 360 & PS3. So I think that its been cancelled for the older Gen Consoles. I hope that it is cancelled for 360 & Ps3 because people have too move on to the newer consoles.

You hope its been canceled because people HAVE to move on to newer console? I don't want to say that's an extremely stupid reason, but.. Yea, there are much better and less petty reasons why it would have been canceled on older gen consoles. None that make sense this close to release, but better nonetheless.

So we (XBox 360 and PS3 players) need to fuck ourselves and waste unnesesary money for consoles that are practically the same as the previous ones because aparently it's our duty as gamers give money to those big assholes!?

It's probably just delayed. If they canceled it then they're loosing a lot of money.
I imagine they delayed it to optimize the engine so the performance on 360/PS3 is better than what it was with Batman. They've optimized Batman's performance on PC and mobile so far (and possibly PS4 too, I think), so hopefully the lower generation consoles like 360 and PS3 are next in line to have the new engine get some much needed optimization. If you look up footage of Telltale's Batman running on 360 or PS3, then trust me - you will be grateful Telltale took the time to hold it back and fix it on those consoles (assuming that it was just delayed and not cancelled).

Just play on PC. That's what I am doing. Just import your save files and BAM done.
^ That works too. They recently patched Batman to where performance is much better on lower end PCs, and they have multiple Save Import/Save Creation options for people who are playing New Frontier on different platforms than where they previously played Season 2.

Yeah i'm probably gonna do the same and get it on PC. Not sure if this laptop is gonna be able to handle it but gotta take the risk. If it can't then watching a no commentary video on Youtube would have to do lmao.
How exactly do you import save files? Bit of a blow with the game getting cancelled for 360 and what not.

Um I'm pretty sure we get to play it on ps3 and xbox360 on the 20th. They know that most of us played the last two seasons on the older consoles so its only fair.
It's not coming out immediately on the 20th for older consoles. We don't know when it is coming, but we do know it is not immediately at launch.

they're not obsolete, games are still being made for them, meaning your point is completely wrong. Also, it's not like the graphic range or data requirements would dictate it couldn't be for last gen. I see no reason why it couldn't be

I heard new games will no longer be supported by last gen consoles. So to me last gen has been obsolete long ago.

Well the last few games basically didnt work on the older consoles (michonne and game of thrones were awful with constant stuttering). At some point they have to stop releasing games on older consoles. The old systems cant handle it.
I will in no way be paying for a new console just for this game . I'm not made of money!

Is Season 3 abacus-compatible?
I played Michonne on the 360 and it was fine for me. The only negative was longer loading times between scenes (same as season 2 tbh) but the scenes themselves were actually smooth.
