My CPU is an AMD A8 6500, and even though that is below the system requirements for Telltale Batman, I was able to get at least 50 fps and have an enjoyable experience.
As long as you have a decent GPU (more important than CPU), you'll be fine.
I'm not too savvy on these things but I have the minimum VRAM required and Batman was extremely laggy for me, but not always. Like simple dialogue scenes would get extreme lag but fights were fine. So I'm praying TWD will be a bit better, now that they are more familiar with the new engine.
But even if you don't have enough it will always run, it just might not be a pleasant experience sometimes. My PC is a bit old and barely meets the minimum requirements these days but it still runs games like The Witcher 3 and Fallout 4 in medium/high settings (at the cost of FPS drop but it's bearable).
Downloaded the first episode of Life Is Strange (it's free) just to test how good it would run. Could have been worse from what i've seen, wasn't much stuttering or anything like that. I didn't bother going too far into the game though, liked the style but just seemed far too girly for me to enjoy.
Hopefully season 3 would be the same. PC is only option for me now.

Well here are the specs
MINIMUM:
OS: Windows 7 64Bit Service Pack 1
Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4GHz
Graphics: Nvidia GTS 450+ with 1024MB+ VRAM (excluding GT) - LATEST DRIVERS REQUIRED
DirectX: Version 11
Additional Notes: Not Recommended for Intel integrated graphics
After Batman's latest patch I get a solid 60 frames with that, and since the specs are identical the experience should be similar.
My specs are:
PC Specs - Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4510U CPU @ 2.00GHz (4 CPUs), ~2.6GHz
Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce 840M
RAM: 12 GB
If anyone with lower specs than mine, that can run Batman just fine want to comment, that be great.

It just told me my computer can't run it because I don't have enough video ram, but Seasons 1 & 2 worked perfectly fine.
Gotta remember the upgraded engine. 3 is a lot more amped up than 1 and 2.
the specs graphics card wise seems the same as life is strange. so if you can run that game you should be good.

Thanks for the information. I got a MSI GE72 and I was nervous it wouldn't play S3

... That's a pretty beefy laptop. You shouldn't need to worry about running any games let alone a Telltale game for a while :P

Tbh I spent 200 pound on a graphics card just to make sure I could run this game.
well for me, after I tried playing season 1 on my laptop it crashed and I've stuck with consoles ever since
