What option will you choose when starting A New Frontier?
When you start the game you get to choose between playing a new story or continuing your story. If you choose to continue will you import your save files or choose the recreate option?
I'm so interested on how different people's game-play will be. Maybe it won't be to much different and be like Game of Thrones episode 6 and Batman episode 5 where it can be different but it won't last long and the same stuff shows up. If that happens then hopefully A New Frontier will mix it up so it won't just happen one episode.

I'll be continuing my story and importing my PS4 save into my PC, starting out with Kenny & AJ since I walked away from Wellington.
If I can manage to get it working I'll import my save from the Xbox 360 onto the Xbox One.
I will continue my story, but I'll use to select your choices manually since I don't have the saves of S1 and S2 anymore.
So it is Clem + Jane + Aj without the creepy family.
They said there are 42 starting points, depending on your choices, relationships with other characters and endings.
I'll assume in some starting points you'll found Bonnie (determinant), Mark and Arvo, in other maybe Lilly, it wouldn't make sense to have so many starting points if old characters are not going to show up, most of the characters Clem/Lee knew are dead so the list is not very long.
And I hope they didn't called "starting point" to a:
Kenny - Hey remember Lilly?
Clem - Yeah Lee hated her
(And that being considered a starting point)
Well there was a nice sell on PS4 a while back, all TT games went for 24 bucks. I bought that and played TWD over on PS4 so I have all my saves ready. Definitely will be continuing my story.
Definitely using my own file, just not sure if I'll be digging my 360 out to upload my original file lol
Probably go with recreate option
If it works, I will continue my story through the save. If not, I will recreate it.
It's been too long, I don't have the save anymore.
Recreate the story.
I'd continue my story, the one thing i have a problem with season 3 is that our endings if we choose to go with Jane or Kenny are really all for nothing. Too some, Kenny and Jane are their favourite characters, and just erasing them just to start a new story seems pretty pointless all those hours we spent playing the first 2 seasons. Im interested in Javiers story, but id bring either Jane or Kenny into it because we spent all the time building our relationships and story in the previous 2 seasons.
I'd actually be thrilled if we got to talk shit about Lilly with Kenny. :P
Same if we get to talk shit about Kenny with Jane
HOLY SHIT MARK IS ALIVE?!
No no, I meant the black Mark, what was his name? the one from S2 that escapes with arvo
lmao the black Mark. It's Mike you meant, I was just pulling your leg. :P
...What now?
I'll be transferring my save from the PS4 to the...PS4 to continue my story.
I'm going to import my save file. I'm re-playing seasons 1 and 2 since it's been a long time since I played them and I want to feel good about my choices going into season 3.
I'm continuing my story with my save files.
Are you still not caught up on the story generator stuff? :P
I ain't been following the new that much. I only watched the trailer last week and then just overlooked most of the New Frontier topics as usual.
Continue my story, obviously.
Continuing my story on my PC. Been playing through all the Walking Dead Games with @Lilacsbloom and posting them; we're gonna end with Jane and the family.
...
Also Lilac, surprise! We're going with Jane and the family in the finale.
Why? Trying to keep spoiler free?
I'm going off the Wellington ending
I have one hope: I get to see what Wellington looks like
Not really, I just didn't have that much interest or even hope for the New Frontier after a certain amount of time. While the E3 trailer didn't do anything to change this, I will say that the Twitter vid at least got me curious.
Well you'll get to see Eps 1 and 2 in their entirety on the 20th, so you can make your final verdict then lol. Tbh I'm pretty excited! There's supposed to be an awesome character from the comics showing up (Jesus), a hint at a returning character (besides Kenny/Jane), rumors of 9 different opening sequences depending on your ending, rumors of more hubs, and Clem looks freaking awesome and badass. I can't wait.
Perhaps. Five days it is.
How is it that, with but a simple sentence of synopsis, you sold me on investigating better than anything else I've seen so far?
"Oh gee, I wonder who it could be?"
Ben...he got lucky.
PC is ready to go...Jane and that creepy family at Howes.
Doubt it, but you're probably not far off.
I got the save, and I have the Kenny ending.
Continuing my story. I changed and went with Wellington.
Maybe Lilly or Christa. Or Arvo.
I'll be using the story generator since I lost both my save files But I'm looking forward to putting my previous choices in and seeing what "cluster" or "population" I fall into amongst all the players.
I'll be sticking to my original ending as well (Wellington).
I have 4 different endings saved i'll be toggling through to see how they play out in season 3. I replayed the last chapter of s2ep5 with different choices.
1) first save, I let Kenny kill Jane, then kill Kenny. Clem and baby are last seen heading toward a pack of walkers in a field.
2) 2nd save, I let Kenny kill Jane, then go with Kenny to Wellington. I do not stay there, and leave Wellington with Kenny. I'll toggle this one with a save that has Clem stay at Wellington and leave Kenny behind.
3) 3rd save, I kill Kenny before he can kill Jane. I forgive Jane and go with her to Carver's camp. I'll toggle this one with the choices of whether to let the new group that comes up in or not.
4) This one I will be using to toggle between either Kenny or Jane dying, but no matter who lives, I will not go anywhere with them.
I was going to use the quiz they made, but I'm not sure I'd stay true to my old choices because it's been so long. So I'll just import my saves from my PS3 to my PS4. Hopefully it all goes smoothly.
I'm grateful to Telltale for setting up these systems for people who've switched platforms.
Personally, I'm just gonna start up a new game. If Frontier is anything like how Season 1's choices "affected" Season 2, then there's no point in importing your game choices and such.
There was almost no change in Season 2 other than some dialogue depending on choices made in Season 1, and part of that is because we dealt with a new character and new people (aside from Kenny). So, the choices affected almost nothing.
At the end of Season 2 there are two BIG and IMPORTANT choices you have to make that could possibly effect Season 3 a great deal - you could either kill Kenneth or you let Jane die. And then (if you let Jane die) you had the choice to get into Wellington or to go with Kenny. If you killed Ken then you could've stayed with Jane back at the Warehouse and let the family stay with you or force them to leave. OR you could've gone on your own.
I believe the big choices at the end of season 2 will affect the beginning of season 3 but probably not the rest. If I'm wrong then I'll be pleasantly surprised.
I wouldn't be, considering we're dealing with a different place and SEVERAL years later.
Ding ding.
