It's interesting but has very little bearing on season 2. There is only one character from 400 Days that becomes a main character. If you think you would like some background information on that character going into season 2, I would get it. If not, it isn't worth it in my opinion. The individual stories are realllllllyyy short.
Don't. It doesn't play a role at all in s2 and wont in s3. Just watch Gameplay on YouTube.
I'd say it's still worth playing, it doesn't have that much to do with Season Two's story arc other than a few returning characters but I'd still recommend you give it a shot. It also gives you a break from all the emotion-heavy stuff from the first season to play a side-story instead.
Its pretty cheap so just go for it I would say. The only effect it has on the walking dead season 2 is how many people u see in episode 3, its just a little overview of all the other survivors that aren't lee or clem. You can always just play it after season 2 it wont have a massive effect.
FYI this isn't actually true, at all.
As standalone experience I liked it for all the variety of characters, and plots.
1:30 minutes of cameos if everyone went = 'butterfly effect' [...] QUITE present
I didn't like it and wouldn't recommend it. The characters you see in 400 days (determinantly) only show up in season 2 for basically a 5 second cameo. Only one character from the DLC plays a significant role in S2 but she's not worth playing the whole game for.
400 Days features 5 characters who are given ~25 minutes of screen time each... Some of the stories are more enjoyable than others but you definitely don't become attached to the characters or invested in their stories.
If you're after a TWD DLC, the Michonne series is much better. However that also doesn't have any bearing on S3.
As someone said earlier, just look up gameplay for 400 Days.
You should. Stories are good. Imo dlc for s1 is better than s2. If you want to learn more about some characters you'll meet later, get it. Dlc gives you a chance to see Doug or Carley again.
Job Stuffer said it's a perfect time to play 400 days before season 3. I don't know what he meant but I'd listen to this guy.
You mean the guy who did the Tweet farther up in this thread (which was objectively false) and who said we WILL want to play Michonne before Season 3 (which is now confirmed to have no bearing whatsoever on Season 3)? I have nothing against Job, he's just doing his job after all. But both these statements turned out to be nothing more than exaggerated advertisement.
"gives you a chance to see Doug or Carley again."
Seeing their body for a split second doesn't make it worth.
Mark it as a spoiler. Collboy hasn't play it.
Sorry.
I regret playing 400 Days more than I regret spending money on it.
Because I got the impression you'd be rewarded for getting a "good" ending in Season 2, but yeah, the characters hardly show up.
I would personally suggest getting it because there's a lot of important choices to be made and although it doesn't affect Season 2 much aside from including characters and not having them, it can still have some sort of affect on the game.
It's a great story with some really cool characters, I say go for it.
Confirmed by whom?
Even if Job's tweets have no significance there are other reasons to play.
Confirmed by @mostlypoptarts in the waiting thread. She already said that Michonne will not carry over to Season 3 because it's a standalone miniseries.
