I'm about 90% certain that there'll be an ongoing conflict between the two, and your intentions with Kate and the rest of your family may be catalysts to escalate said conflict.
Having said that, I was 90% certain we'd be getting a Kenny/Luke fight by the end of S2 as a result of their conflicts in Episode 2 and beyond. So I don't know.
On a more serious note, it is going to be quite awkward explaining to David how his own group killed his daughter

Hey, after Kenny's return in Season 2, we should have expected anything at all. Conveniently, no one says what happened to David, so apparently it made sense to the Season 3 writers to bring him into the story for some random tension and future confrontation between Javier and David.
I really was expecting Lilly to be the leader of the New Frontier. The black attire, the walk; everything seemed picture perfect.
The last moments we spent with Lilly, Mike, and Arvo are conveniently set up for them to possibly be alive (Bonnie is determinantly alive) so I really hope we get some closure on them. Seeing Jane and Kenny in the new engine kinda worries me though.
Honestly, I got off the "Arvo for Season 3" train a while back and the way they handled Kenny's model, Jane's scene, and Wellington/Edith's situation has me crossing my fingers that they either leave them out of it or do what would be for the best if they can't.
