What I learned In Season 3 so far.
What I learned
- I'm an asshole.
- I have a bias toward Clem in my choices, which isn't realistic from Javier's standpoint of family orientation.
- Javier is a hell of a lot better at killing zombies than any other character I've seen in the seasons yet.
- Kenny received "some" justice and still went out like the badass he was. I am satisfied as I'm sure we all did not expect Kenny to play a role in season 3.
- I do not ship Gabe and Clem.
- Telltale is not afraid to shoot little girls in moments of peace
- Telltale is not afraid to make the players Clem's bitch on entry to the season which foreshadows the rest of the season given your choices will become biased because we all love Clem. (No really did you see the percentage of those who defended Clem at Prescott? Less than 20%. Good god, Javier barely knows that girl)
- Clem making sketchy barter deals with bar thugs and I'm sure as hell thats not the last time we'll see Thug Life Clem.
- Telltale added enough drama and action for the end of the second episode to be a surprise to me. Well done.
Go ahead and rattle off what you learned, as I'm sure you learned more than me because I'm a slow learner.

if gabe and clem get together imma accept it but be annoyed. she could do better but it is the apocalypse I guess..eh.
Well, from Javi's perspective, the bartering dude did attack him out of nowhere, so its not entirely illogical he'd trade phony bullets to a little girl. And Clem did save our ass instead of killing us outright, so its a 'better the devil you've known for a few minutes than the one you just met...' situation.
But on the other hand.. yea. For anyone who's followed the game since the start, there's no way we can roleplay as Javier faithfully, as we're all still Lee in spirit, looking after our adopted apocalypse daughter.
I think I'm the only person in the world who thinks they'd be kinda cute together.

Mariana's death fucking left my mouth agape for so long. Like jesus christ I grew really attached to her character.
Pretty much what you said, especially the shipping Gabe and Clem thing. Seriously, if they are building something there, I better have a say in the matter, because there is no way in hell I'm going to let this happen.

It did seem pretty obvious that they were trying to build something there. But I'm with you, I don't want to see it happen.
To be serious though, why GABE? Look, I might never be comfortable with Clem having boyfriends, and I'll have to accept that, but anyone but Gabe, he's just terrible.
But what if Clem does that or if she accepts his advancements, you can't really punish someone who did no wrong.

For as much as everyone claims to love and care for Clem there sure are a lot of people wanting to deny her something that could make her happy.
She was turning out to be one of my favorites. I never would've thought that she'd die like that.

Telltale is cruel...Killing off Mari. I should have known this would happen.
The majority of episode 2 was me shaking nervously as I grew more and more paranoid of every character. Like when we found Kate alone in the car I was expecting her to have been dead or shot as soon as she woke up. I fear for every fucking character and I could not say that with previous seasons.

I am loving the crew so far. I like my family, I like Clemetine, Tripp and Jesus. And I am greatly enjoying playing as Javier. I play him as a survivor. He is mostly alright and nice when he is calm and he love his family. But he really has a violent and ruthless side. He will more than not let his rage overwhelm his rational thoughts, such as staying behind to fight the New Frontier with Clem. I think enjoy playing him this flawed, making him more interesting.
I also hope you enjoyed the game so far, buddy.
