Honestly, I'd say Kenny looks the best out of the three. Jane looks fucking hideous to me, and Edith looks...just wrong. At least Kenny still looks like himself, just older. Even though it's obviously been a couple of years, looking at how old AJ is. So even though I'd prefer if they took all the black lines off his face, I still say he's the best out of the three.

I was just going to say that. The Kenny power beard made the man and this new beard just looks weird. He-Ma, I mean Tripp, looks even weirder with that hair set-up. I think they would've been better off without splashing paint on everyone's faces and better still with the old Kenny beard set-up. Trust me, beards don't move all that much so it would still work.

Honestly, the hair/beards in S3 just look bad.… more They added physics to the hair and all that, but the hair sticks out like a sore thumb against the rest of the model. And given that S2 Kenny is about 70% beard, that means he looks about 70% shit in S3.
Kenny's beard literally looks like he just glued a bunch of cardboard onto his face or something. It doesn't look natural.
I almost think it would have been better if they kept the flashbacks in the S2 art style, saved the new look for everything happening in the present. There's be some stylistic whiplash if they did that, sure, but I think it would have been thematically clever, and a good way to emphasize that they're flashbacks. But that's the artsy side of me talking.
Jane didn't deserve the ending she got. And why the hell didn't they just fuse the ending Wellington & Kenny ending? They pretty much ha… mored Clementine incidentally kill Kenny. I mean it was obvious they were lazy about these flashbacks, so they could have just made Kenny die there at Wellington instead of a random ass car accident. And again, Jane did NOT deserve an ending like that.
The funny thing is it looks like they started on his model early on in development and didn't get around to making sure they textured it so that he looks like he belongs in-game. Cause the moment the camera panned in front of Clementine towards the left, with AJ visible in the background, and then you gradually see Kenny, I was like "Problem."
it looks like kenny dipped his hair and beard is grey paint and aged a good ten plus years.
im still shocked that telltale thought his model was passable enough to put into a full game.
Ugh, Kenny's beard.. and Jane's everything.. These models look so different from their season 2 models that it really bothers me, even if they barely appeared.
I thought Jane looked fine. Besides some iffy models I think a majority of characters in A new Frontier look really nice, and different. I especially love Conrad's design. The blue eyes are a really nice touch.
They phoned parts of this season in, honestly. Besides the overall odd look here and there in season in general, it really becomes noticeable with models they didn't actually give a damn about and only popped in to get rid of.
Also, am I the only one that's getting completely black eyes with Clementine on occasion? Especially the initial meet by the crashed truck "Are you the outsider from Dishonored?"

I played EP1 on my laptop with medium graphic settings and thought that's the case for bad appearance of Kenny, Or some texture bug. But this weird plasticine thing is on high settings too.

Both character models certainly looked funny. I couldn't believe it at first, but now knowing that they would have like 3 minutes of screen time it makes sesnse. Business wise, why put in the effort?
