And kate is as good as dead, Elanor even said so. I dont care, im still goingg too play the rest of S3, but i dont care

I'm mildly curious to see what's going to happen, but Clem's safety is paramount. I like Gabe, and Jesus (mainly cuz he's voiced by Garrus Vakarian), but I've long become desensitized to the deaths.
Mariana's death was hardly surprising, or emotional. Then the scene became a laughable Benny Hill sequence as EVERYONE ran out in front of bullets like complete morons.

Well no because they haven't really been developed enough. His neice was barely around long enough for me to remember her name. The nephew is Ben 2.0, his sister in law does nothing but try to get a man to fuck his brothers wife, his brother hasn't been in it long enough but gives off the impression that he has potential at least.

I like them a lot better than the cabin crew in season two. Especially if you only compare the first two episodes.
Atleast Javi has a believable relationship and history with these characters. Unlike Clem with the cabin crew.
I like them. I hope they don't die off too quickly, especially Kate.
Y'know, that may have been the first shock-value death that I've actually enjoyed.
It had meaning (Unlike Kenny, Jane, and Omid), and really brought home the point that literally anyone who isn't in the comics can die.
This is the first time I've really felt like any character could end up dead at any second.
Aside from that, though, I care about Javi's family a lot. Maybe it's just because I get easily attached to characters, but I'm ready to go above and beyond to keep them safe.

My main issue is that all of them act like the apocalypse is some huge joke making lame jokes all the time, they dont act like damaged people after four years of horror they act like they've spent two weeks camping. These characters being like they are would have died a long time ago, I just cant believe they lasted this long.
Anyway Javi is the vessel I cant really care that much. Kate makes me cringe and I dont like her though Im sort of interested in her history with both brothers. Gabe has some potential if I can ignore is stupid name. David...im not a fan of that lame ending or his behavior but who knows.
I cared about Mariana and am starting to care a little more for Gabe as he's soon not going to have a step mother and that's gonna hit him hard. So yes I do care about his family but I also care about Clementine

Have to admit though, the setting of the game is really odd, like what's happened in these 5 years? Have they just been cruisin' around?
The chemistry is there and I think all three current memebers are written well. Their bonds are extremely cliche but they aren't written bad.
To be honest, no. Their family story to me is pretty bland. It reminds me a lot about the cabin group in Season 2, it's like Javier's group is Luke's group whilst Dave is the Carver of ANF. I wish telltale had made their story a lot more interesting, especially since they were given over a year to do so. Episode 2 was a waste of space in my opinion. They should of just gotten the 2 episodes and put it together and made it brief. The episodes were a bit short so I don't see why they had to make 2. Even though I hated the way telltale executed the game, I still think they can do better in EP 3,4,5. If not then they done goofed up.
