For those of you who played S3 without playing S1 & S2, how do you feel about Clementine?
I am genuinely curious how people feel about her when they haven't played S1 or 2. How did you treat her, did you take her side, did you give her up for bargaining, did you stay with her at the shootout? Do you feel more of an attachment to Javy's family than you do to Clementine? How do you feel about her attitude and do you think her actions are justified? It would be cool to see it from someone else's eyes. Really, someone who hasn't played S1 and 2 is actually playing as Javy. They know as much he knows.
I kind of doubt anyone who only played s3 has an account on here, but it's worth a shot.

You know what? I wouldn't be surprised if people thought that she was a sociopath if we just go by what season three has shown us. I mean... she's never been overly emotional even as a kid in season one really... but season 3... except for a few, "i kind of care." lines, she's stone cold.
Something in me likes that actually alot XD
I honestly think the "stone cold hardened survive" is sort of a defense mechanism/mask of her's. Sure she's hardened and can deal with shit but I do think she's emotionally effected a lot more than she makes it look like. She knows when it's a good time to show emotion and I don't think she's had any time to really show it/deal with it yet. I hope telltale shows us the emotional toll she has on her shoulders in the next episode.
I gave her up
Maybe, but the only time she's really shown any emotion was on season one when she realized lee was lying and when she had to "leave" him. Nothing else seems to bother her to much. Season 2 clemetine is either a nice robot or a psychopath. Emotion just don't run strong in her. That's what i think Carver was pointing out. You may be right but i don't think she's the type of character to get bothered like that.
Is there anyone who played ANF without playing the other games first?
She was visibly sad and distressed when Duck was dying imo. Wasn't she also crying if she says her final goodbye to Kenny in Wellington? But yeah, Clementine isn't really much of an emotional character in your average scene.
