Why did we get two episodes and why were they so short?
Does having two episodes off the get go mean we will get a new episode in 4 months?

They were so short because it's not like they had over two years and plenty of resources to do them any longer, amirite? And there was two because they should have been the same episode. It was kinda sneaky really.
Seriously though, there was no reason for the episode to be split into two. Each episode was barely an hour... combined they were shorter than Around Every Corner or even Starved for Help. And they didn't lengthen the number of episodes in the season, so in the long term the fans are getting shafted with less story and content.
So much for being "Too Big".
Come on do people still believe it was one full episode. Think about it TT already promised month by month releases. Nov was suppose to be the release date for ep1, but then it was pushed back to dec then we get another episode. Ep.1 was nov episode while ep. 2 was Dec episode. I highly doubt it was ever one episode.
At the game awards, Kevin Bruner literally said that the premiere was too big and they made it into two episodes.
Here is the exact quote if you still don't believe me
they're short because telltale was suffering from shrinkage.
gotta need a few tugs to make some changes,, ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
They also said something about 42 different starting points if I'm not mistaking.
Here's the link to that crock of shit as well
My point is they lied, about both.
Yep, I'm seriously doubting my allegiance to Telltale at this point. The company I know and love wouldn't be pulling this shit on their loyal fans.
Because they're screwing us over by splitting one episode into two and making it look like they're giving us more.
Remember when we were annoyed at them last season for making the episodes around 2 hours long? God I miss that, if the next episode is only around an hour long again I think I might just give up playing haha
what does that mean 42 starting points?
I bought episode 1 to try it out and wow do i feel ripped off. After hearing "the game will be consideribly larger than the last" i expected 2 hours at least but nope, literally 47 minutes, and i took my sweet time admiring the trailer park too. I should just shoot the guy who thought of that cause they ripped me off, i bet it was eli again
I'm not sure anymore maybe you can figure it out for us
no idea lol
They probably gave us just enough to hopefully push players over the 2 hour cutoff for Steam refunds.
If they only gave one episode (with the stupid flashbacks), players might be so disappointed with the content and how short the episode was, that they would get refunds from Steam.
So, TTG realized they could give ppl the first two episodes because 1) People might not feel as cheated and 2) They might be a few minutes over the 2 hour cutoff time for Steam refunds.
If they decide to get greedy then they dont even deserve the fans. Even the witcher 3, a game just for being a soulless cat guy, had better choices than episode 1 of season 3 had, and certainly more emotional endings excluding lee.
Hmm I didn't even think of that, but that sounds really evil.
Damn Telltale really getting exposed and shit-storm these days. Justified though
