She was never in that situation with a baby so who knows how people react. I just think it was a cheap way for the way they built her character to go out.
I agree the closure regarding Kenny or Jane could've been handled better, but at the same time I knew that sooner or later the same thing would've happened either way. However, you do raise an interesting point regarding how TT might've put Clem in this season just to please us. After finishing both episodes today, I would've been fine if Clem wouldn't have played a role in this season.
Don't get me wrong, I like her just as much as everyone in here but I can't help but wonder if she hadn't appear in this season at all, or maybe just for one episode, the final one perhaps, In some form or another? That way maybe TT would've find a better way to manage our choices in the last season regarding the ending.
At the end of the day, Kenny was always responsible when it came to others. Kenny was a good leader and would NEVER EVER let a 11 year old drive a vehicle with a baby in the car. Notice that he drove the RV and truck responsibly. If by slim chance he did tell a 11 year old to drive, he'd never tell her to speed up.
I have a sincere feeling that Kenny got REAAAAAL lucky and those walkers didn't have jaws, which means that they didn't eat him. And then the holy powers of Lod (Lee + God) revive him and he gets to meet Clem in S4 or hell even in ep3.

I don't know why TT had to write Jane as being pregnant at all. I am also a Kenny fan and I also hate Jane, yet her death was cheap and bad writing to the max. Jane or Kenny dying while fighting and killing countless walkers to allow Clem and AJ to escape would have been better deaths. The Kenny death was worse as the Jane death, while bad, at least made more sense than the Kenny death.
Kenny, hate him or like him, was responsible when it came to kids.
In S1 he tells Lee to feed Duck and Clem before anyone else.
Kenny risks his life to save Christa (or Ben) for the main reason to allow Lee and them to get to Clem.
Kenny backs Lee up about not letting the Cancer group take care of Clem.
In S2, besides Rebecca, Kenny is the only adult that shows concern about AJ.
Kenny tells Lee that he will protect Clem with his life if Lee tells him that he wants Kenny to take care of Clem if Lee dies.
In the S2 ending were Clem goes to Wellington, Kenny pleads with the woman to let the kids stay there at the expense that he cannot.
With all that being said, Kenny would never let a 11 year old drive a truck while a baby was in the car. He also would never tell a 11 year old to speed up the vehicle as this would be dangerous.

Determinant characters, people, we all know what happens to them, hell you`re lucky they even showed what happened to them, too bad for you, this season is as canon as it gets

He would also never leave the baby anywhere. I don't see the character break just in teaching Clem to drive, but Kenny would have been cautious enough to do it somewhere secure and at low speeds.

The voice actor of Kenny even tweeted that the Kenny death was underwhelming. I don't know why he agreed to come back to voice that scene, I'm guessing that he thought that the scene would have been played out better when the game was done.
It's not out of character for Kenny to give Clem driving lessons. It's also not out of character for Kenny to tell Clem to speed up. He made a boneheaded mistake by not thinking things through. It wouldn't be the first time that's happened.

Maybe Telltale can salvage the story arc in ep 4. Im betting most of ep 3 is completed.
Also I agree with the team that worked on S3 didnt play S2, they way that handled the whole Kenny and Jane story. We joked that they would do that to us not thinking they really would. Wow.
Just checked. There are seat belts. AJ was buckled up but neither Clem nor Kenny where. So again, that is writing him out of character. He would have made 100% that she was as safe as AJ, but he didn't.
From the evidence of who Kenny was in S1 and S2, I will disagree with that. Kenny was human and yet his biography shows someone that is responsible especially when it comes to kids.
I'd have to confirm it but I think both Kenny and Jane's deaths can be traced back to all that was said in season two when they were in the truck together. They hated each other because of the shortcomings they saw in each other.
Edit: In hindsight, I should probably just shut up.

Considering Kenny's basically the third biggest character in the game behind Lee and Clem, he sure as hell deserved more than a 5 minute flashback and an underwhelming and abrupt death.

Well i fucking hate it. No surprise there but I'm not paying for another TT game agaij. This game was the same price as season 1 and we are getting shit on, i agree with what @RedCombLP said. If you like this game, a game which lacks the purpose of a game and not something we just virtually watch for 60 mins then thats fine, more power to you but I personally feel fans deserve better than this shit.
Even if my comment is cringeworthy, my point is, why are people actively searching out threads like this one and comments like mine just to … moreshit talk?
They claim they're not trolling, that they're just tired of seeing these same threads pop up over and over again, yet they are actively seeking out these kinds of threads and then coming here and mocking people who post in them.
It's not like I am writing my "cringe-worthy" comments on threads where people are saying positive things about ANF. If I was, then you would have a point. But, I am posting it in a thread where people are voicing their dissatisfaction about the game and the current direction of the studio.
All SSJ4Jonathan has done is come here, to a thread he claims he doesn't like, and write smart ass taunts to people he disagrees with.
I don't believe people are looking for certain threads purposely to have arguments. Like you pointed out above, forums a… [view original content]

to me this doesnt feel like a season 3 it feels like a spin off or a reboot or
a cross over story cause if this was a true season 3
they would of continued what happen after season 2 and you would of played as clem.
Again this feels like a spin off a reboot or a cross over story or if they wanted you to play either as
javier or clementine they should of did the story like tales of the boaderlands
but i dont know but either way i dont like where they went with the story they made us
waite for 2 years and this is the best they come up with i am not impressed
i would rather play as clementine anyway.
But point is i dont know what they were going for but one thing i will say if clem dies than its a spin off
or a reboot for sure cause she is the main part of the story so you really cant
throw her out unless your planning a spin off or a reboot story but over all this
was a waiste waiting 2 years for this.
I kinda feel bad for Gavin
Dave Fennoy gets a memorable exit from the series
Melissa is still around
And Gavin gets this.

With the wildly different endings in S2, anyone expecting whole different stories in season 3 based on those endings had completely unrealistic expectations. That was never going to happen.
To be honest, as much as I felt the ending of S2 was a mess and a mistake, the resulting train wreck happened here rather than in the game and Telltale simply couldn't win with S3. This place was always going to be drowning in negativity no matter what. Not saying some of it isn't earned but, if I were Telltale, I would have stopped listening a LONG time ago.
As it is, I'm glad we have season 3 and I'm eager to see where it goes. Given that I liked S2 until it appeared to soil the bed towards the end, I can at least see that where the story goes will have a huge affect on the whole experience.

I mean, Kenny's death was scripted AF. But it's totally justified for Jane's. No one wants to be pregnant in the apocalypse.

Kenny's death wasnt the point i aimed for...Read the entire post.
You got the point.
Exactly! I lmao on Kenny's death. It was pathetic.
he was not lucky, real un-lucky.
He would also never leave the baby anywhere. I don't see the character break just in teaching Clem to drive, but Kenny would have been cautious enough to do it somewhere secure and at low speeds.

Kenny could be brash about things, yet when it came down to it he was responsible.
He was human. There are countless real world examples where otherwise responsible people do something stupid with devastating consequences.
You might be underestimating the capabilities of jawless walkers.
Javier can get eaten by a jawless walker if you fail a specific QTE.

yeah but when teaching someone to drive, no one would unbuckle. Not even to cover up a toddler. lol
There were no seatbelts that I could see.
