How do you want it to end?
Let's just assume this is Clementine's final season (doesn't mean she's gonna die, just they're wrapping up her story).
I honestly kind of want the ending to be that though there are bad eggs in A New Frontier, they don't kill them all. Yeah, imagine that, they don't kill the antagonistic force. If you look at The Walking Dead in the game series, nearly all antagonistic forces die. The bandits, the St Johns, walkers, Crawford, The Stranger, Monroe, Carver, the Russians, etc. There's never really any time where an antagonistic force is settled peacefully...somewhat at least. So though there will be confrontation and maybe there is a part of ANF which needs to be eliminated (like there is no way we are ever going to forgive Badger for shooting a young girl), maybe with David the entire message of the game is that it's now four years into the apocalypse.
Everyone is a survivor by now and it's less time for war but actually time to preserve community, to show that family doesn't end in blood and teaching that although there may be blood, there is always time for some kind of peace, even if it is fragile. Maybe having a bittersweet ending as opposed to the typical "Clementine is alone or Javier is alone, or they're both alone after surviving the ruthless and horrific world of the apocalypse, losing everyone in the process."

I think judging by the EP5's slider, that Javier and Clem will eventually kill David and then take over the New Frontier. Similar to how Rick took down the saviors and then Dwight became their new leader.
For the looks of it from the Ep5 preview image, Javi becomes the new leader of the New Frontier and they become a good community.
Yeah I get that feeling too, but like I said it'd most likely end in blood, David and people like Badger won't go down easy.
But this raises an interesting question; could Javier become the next "antagonist"? What if we decide to rule ANF with an iron fist and start trying to raid communities or stuff like that. Interesting idea, I guess.
Eh, fair enough but I wouldn't see the point.
I'd like the idea is that after everything is over, Javier and Clem has their final moments in the aftermath, the final choice is that Javier can convince Clem to stay with him or not as Clem wants to head off on her own to find another community seeing as Richmond (assuming it is the final place in the game) has collapsed. Clem will either go with Javier and whoever survived to a new community together or she will go on her own giving her final goodbyes with a smile before walking down the road.
This way it's a somber, peaceful end to the season, also quite possibly a tearful moment.
I agree, I think this is what happens too, hopefully there will be season 4 so we can see what happens to Javier after. I think that Javier will probably loose Kate, Eleanor and Tripp by the end of episode 5 and maybe clem but I'm thinking Javier will become the leader of the new frontier and possibly clem will be there too
What if the new frontier joins the communities afterwards
Whatever happens, I just would want a season 4 but who wouldn't!
That'd be a really nice ending. I'd love for them to reflect on what they've done (their choices), who they've lost (Mariana, Lee, etc.) and more before all your decisions go into whether Clementine stays or heads out on her own. And it just ends there.
I think this'll happen too. Maybe they'll lead some kind of revolution, Clem said that not everyone there is bad.
I want it to end with Javi taking over the New Frontier
Javier confronts Dave and has a choice to kill him, Javier then becomes the new leader of The New Frontier. Clementine is all by herself now, everyone she knew from S2 is dead (including AJ). Clementine decides to choose her own path and leaves Javier. They exchange goodbyes and Clementine travels all the way back to where Lee died. She talks to Lee's corpse or his really old zombified body. She mentions the events of S2 and talks about Kenny. She then decides shoots herself, finally ending all this madness and chaos. The scene ends with Javier looking over a tower in TNF and Lee narrating over it. I wouldn't say this ending would suit TWD if they wanted to continue the series but if they wanted to wrap up the game series or wrap up Clementine's story, I believe this ending would be perfect IMO.
I personally am not sure how i'd like it to end.I only noticed in this season that I was a hardcore Clem fan.
I'd prefer if it was somewhat a happy ending.I know season endings are always emotional so i cant ask for less emotions but I would like that it would turn out to be a good ending and not alot of characters dying off(one of the main ones im looking at is Clem).I just hope Telltale will have a justifying ending.
I think this would be a good ending if they wanted to end clementines story however hopefully we would get a season 4 which involves Javier.
It does to me, for a girl thats has been through a lot and has experienced hell on Earth, she'll start feeling like shit and won't have a reason to continue. Not only that but if she lost everyone she new in S2 including AJ, she knows that if she continues to stay with Javier the outcome will be the same like with the previous groups she was with. Personally, Clementine shooting herself would be a perfect finale. She is finally free from this messed up apocalyptic world and she is living in peace.
Our Lord and savior Kenny will rise grime the grave and save us repenting all of our sins and destroying the walking infection for good. My personal theory
Sounds like a great theory and I would totally wouldnt mind if that was the case except I find it too hard to believe its going to happen
I just hope it happens before Clem dies if she does.
He would still be the protagonist because he is who we're with! But it is an interesting prospect, him being a selfish protagonist who will do whatever it takes to see his community flourish, at the cost of innocents.
Rashid and Vanessa!
I know @RavenSnowstorm will approve!
She likes endings in which people kill themselves.
I wouldn't want to see her shoot herself but I would love for her to visit her old neighbourhood at some point. Maybe even ending it if there's still somehow electricity and she hears her mother's final message, listening to it on repeat just to hear her voice again and it ends with her opening the door to the back and leaving, now as a much older survivor.
Clem becomes walker and Javier kills her again.
That's a pretty good idea, I'd be glad if telltale did that in the ending.
Again?
Yes I do.
Specially if they kill a loved one in cold blood before!
Take away the Lee part and you got it
Clementine resolves whatever issues she has with NF/AJ, Javier takes over as leader after Clem and him take on the radical faction within the group, Jesus brings Richmond into the trade network that's going with the other communities in the comics, Clem stays in Richmond to salvage what can be found of a normal life, end series.
Javier takes over and leads the remnants of Prescott and Richmond and convinces them to fight against The New Frontier where an all out war will happen in the final episode, Javier's community comes out on top but not without some heavy losses, meanwhile Clementine begins to realise that she needs to start trusting people more and needs to stop distancing herself from everyone out of fear that she will lose them, she ultimately stays with AJ to live out her days in Javier's new community. S4 could pick up with Javier again and could revolve around leadership and making decisions to keep his community alive.
Clementine and Javier win the dance off and the New Frontier has to stop tearing down Richmond and build their mega super mall somewhere else. This is obviously where TWD is heading.
After everything gets dealt with it, Jesus tells Clementine about the other communities.
They maybe in a future issue, after this Whisper War(since it looks like the whispers wipe out the communities) that Jesus might take them to Javiers new community and they see Clem
I don't.
Don't you mean "emotional low?" Because killing off Clem would only succeed in inducing suicide among 90% of the gaming community. Murdering Clem is shallow nihilism at its worst. Just because Kirkman and GRRM made it "cool" doesn't mean it's any less shallow.
I also assume this is going to be Clem's last season and her story wrap up. It's just a hunch.
I have three words about the episodes sliders: Amid the Ruins
Wonder what happened to them
Javier and his people are discreetly gaining more power in the new frontier, where they are held as prisoners, he convinces people to turn away from David's control and fight with him to overthrow David. They attack one night, and siege control. David and any of his men still on his side are publicly executed and the community is reborn from there. Javier can become the new leader or appoint someone else to lead. Clementine hesitantly leaves, she tells Javier it's been fun, and she's grown to care for him and his family, but there's too many dark memories for her to stay in the new frontier community. She leaves, the ending focuses on Clementine, she holds AJ and as they leave the gates of the new frontier he says his first words. Clementine's face changes from loss to hopeful, she looks up into the sky optimistically realizing that despite everything that's ever happened to her, there is still hope for the future.
She dies once, becomes a walker, and then dies the second time.
Clem walks away into the horizon...
or maybe javier becomes direct cause of clem death and then we can choose to kill walker clem or let her kill us.
The only family Javier will probably have left is possibly Gabe I think.
