Though, to be honest they will probably kill off AJ to make Clem more savage and we could very well end up with everyone dieing again except for Clem. I mean Javi is a nice guy and they usually die in these kind of stories.
I would make for a interesting episode if someone reports that the nursery was set on fire during the take over and Clem falls into a deep depression in which Javi has to take care of her for one episode and has to encourage to live. Then in the next episode that someone in the Richmond group been harboring A.J. the whole time.

I think it's kinda obvious he's alive since Clem is so desperate to find a car to get to Richmond. I'm 100% sure he will survive this season.
