  • she still stick around with you

yeah.. its hilarious. doesnt she realize that everyone around her dies?remember what happen to cabin group from season 2 after she joined them? she needs to stay away from people but somehow always ends up in some group. look a what happened to javiers niece as soon as clementine joined them. its like shes doing it on purpose.

With what did Conrad help you out exactly?

actually, he and his group was the ones who helped javier out without asking anything in return.

too bad other people dont get that. its really a shame what they did to clementine. i kinda wish she was only present in first season.

  • Your Javier valued Clementine's freedom over having a higher chance to save Kate's life and to find shelter for himself, Gabe, Kate, Tripp, Eleanor and Conrad.

  • I am guessing his attitude is determinant. Why else have a flashback where you can be seen holding his wife's hands and telling him that Kate is going to leave him.Especially if those were the choices that were picked, seeing her in Javier's arms will be the cherry on top.

No, but considering most of the flashbacks are centered on Javi's relationship with his brother I guess I should have seen this coming. I di

  • If she was so egoist like you imply how do you explain her coming back to warn them instead of just taking the car she found and leave them?

  • The best possible outcome as of now is to take Clem hostage, because, being brother of the leader, we will probably have the chance to free her and she will be able to find Alvin Junior, who is at Richmond.

  • I actually like her more than in Season Two.

In A New Frontier, to me she feels human and a legitimate person. Nonetheless, you know that I am not biased in her favor.

  • yes, him. forgot his name.

You mean the dealer who gave her bullets that won't fire and nearly got her killed and then tried to attack her with a knife when she confronted him?

  • why would he do that?

He threathens your nephew. Clem could kill Javi, but she didn't and even helped you to get back to your family. She could just kill off Javi and go to junkyard and get the van for herself. Clem opens up and tells the truth about her past with the new frontier as well. We also don't know if the new frontier got anyone and if they would even trade. Also, from moral perspective "betraying" and "right thing to do" is never an option for most of the people.

I'm guessing he will react the same way even if you rejected Kate's advances because the plot demands it. See also the Stranger who comes after you even when you do not steal his supplies or Arvo who still acts as if I stole him when I didn't and still ambush you either way.

  • When you choose to leave with you family, in episode 2 you see her coming back in the car to warn you about the New Frontier who were coming either way because Javier stole and killed some of them. She could have left right there but she didn't.

  • Ok @abattoir , lets look at this logically.

Sure betraying Clem seems like the logical choice...you could get Kate and Eleanor back...maybe...however there are some things to consider. Conrad is a loose canon...he has just lost a loved one...considers you partly to blame for her death and the loss of Prescott...he has nothing to lose and could do something stupid or even sell you out to them.

Clementine did save you and covered you...what kind of low down skunk sells out a comrade in arms to people who blew your nieces brains out. Not this girl...I am no scumbag. And for all I know...I bring them Clem...they shoot her and then me and kill everyone else. I let Clem go...it is just me they really have a vendetta against...I would willingly die for Kate and Eleanor's safety... Clem gets us nothing...their beef with her is beside the point. Plus fuck Conrad...he pulled a gun on Gabe.

  • Even Jesus thinks it's a good idea. :D

  • Then, almighty Kligon, please do explain.Didn't she leave because she was associated with them and the New Frontier seeing her will provoke some complications? Or am I missing something..?

  • I agree. I had Javier shoot Conrad, yet I didn't do it for Clementine, but for Gabe. I don't like Gabriel, but he's part of Javier's family. Telltale has failed so far to make Javier's catalyst function between the player and Clementine work well because the two are just too friendly for it to be believable.

He can call her a friend several times. Ok... why, exactly? They met a few days ago under less than friendly circumstances, yet they seem to be best buddies at the end of Episode 2. Javier often just feels like a means to help players bond with Clem more directly. But it makes no sense at all in the story of the game for him to treat Clementine as players of the previous Seasons would.

Well it's not just about Clem, Conrad also put a gun to Gabe's head and threatened to kill him, that alone would be enough reason for Javi t

  • At least it shows she cares enough about the group if she came back instead of just leaving them and minding her own business She also seems to care about some members of the New Frontier since she said they're not all bad.

    • Be me.
    • Bury Marianna fresh out of fighting back against her killers with one person who stayed to help.
    • Clementine helps and offers condolences.
    • Go back to Prescott without anyone following.
    • Suddenly New Frontiermen everywhere as if they knew where we went.
    • Say they want Javier to answer to justice, saying he's to blame, and use Francine as hostage. Conrad begs him to give himself up for her safety.
    • Agree to give self up for his wife and to make sure nobody else gets hurt.
    • Completely unexpectedly get screwed over and at the end of Badger's gun.
    • Clementine saves life by opening fire.
    • Escape but Francine gets shot because the guys with rifles at the top have the reactions of fucking turtles.
    • Town goes to hell, escape with crew.
    • "You're the reason they came to Prescott in the first place! She's dead because of you."
    • Brings up personal past, calling Javi a washed up cheat, completely ignoring the fact he just lost family hours ago as well as the fact that Javi surrendered to them.
    • Having to convince my grieving, emotional nephew not to pop a cap in this judgemental shit.
    • Meanwhile, Clementine actually tries to relate to the kid who just lost his sister in the same day.
    • Later, Clementine shares uncomfortable truth that she was once with the crew that killed Marianna. Didn't even have to but trusts Javi with the truth anyway.
    • Doesn't ask for forgiveness and regrets lying.
    • Conrad further proves his instability by firing off the shotgun and attracting every walker in the tunnel to the area.
    • Most of the crew escape, Clementine stays back to help hold off walkers and to give an avenue for her own exit without too much drama.
    • Suddenly Conrad pulls a gun on Javi, Gabe and Clem.
    • Expects Clementine to be a free ticket to getting whatever he wants with The New Frontier, despite not knowing exactly the history between her and The New Frontier.
    • Outright call him insane for doing this.
    • He proves me right by holding Gabe hostage to 'convince' me to do this.
    • Expecting me to sell out Clementine to a group of irrational mass murderers who would do who knows what if we actually handed her over and trusting a guy who held nephew at gunpoint to convince me to do so.
    • Nephew calls out for me to shoot the guy holding him hostage.
    • Not expecting me to shoot this crazy fuck.

    Hey Conrad. See ya.
