When youre in the train and Conrad takes Gabe hostage when you have to speak, if you don't do it immediately Clem says "Im just...gonna...go", meaning she just wants to get away from there, sooo does she not care about what happens to Gabe or Javi ?
I don't know if this means anything, like she only cares about herself, but yeah tell me what you think

As much shit as i give season 3 clementine is a really well done believable survivor who has seen some shit. She is so messed up and scared of caring about anyone that she is constantly trying to get away. Its so sad in a way she used to love people and now she just knows if she gets attached she will get hurt. In that particular scenario shes basically just asking conrad to let her go not that she doesnt care about gabe or anything.

Not really, if you abandon her at the junkyard, she comes back to Prescott just to warn you about the New Frontier.
So she does care, but the whole situation of Conrad pointing the gun at Gabe was caused by her, if she wasn't there then Conrad wouldn't have gone crazy.
I definitively could see her choosing to abandon them after they used her as a hostage of if AJ is in danger. Throwing people under the bus like that even after she mentioned she was no longer part of the New Frontier could come back to bite you in the ass later, unless she understands your reasoning for doing so.
I think it's more that she assumes the situation will defuse if she just leaves. Conrad is focused on her, after all. I don't think she thinks Conrad will shoot Gabe or Javier in her absence.
What's sad is that the moment Clementine is emotionally damaged to the point where she doesn't want to get attached everyone feels bad for her and tries to help her.
But the moment a different character displays this, they're called "selfish" or "they only care about themselves." Ring any bells?
Ugh, this really does annoy me when people say this. Not just about Clementine, but about any character. Clementine's whole goal in the first place was to leave after they got to the end of the tunnel anyways.
And why does she need to go into Richmond with them anyways? She made it clear that she can't let them see her. She made it clear that she already escaped once and she doesn't want to have to do it again. Javier and his family are strangers to her. They all just met a day ago. There is nothing wrong with her putting her own safety first before a bunch of stranger's.
I guess but I was asking because she shows that she cares about Javi when she digs the grave for Mariana or shoots The New Frontier bandit when they capture you (if you choose not to open fire in Prescott), says you're a good man (all those if you side with her most of the time), you can feel that a bond started between them, so I was just wandering, anyway, thanks for showing your point of view
