Is Clem New Frontier's Sam?

Sam and Clem this season seem to have some things in common that I noticed:

  • Sam and Clem lie about their situation that they are in until the last second. With Sam and Clem, it takes a whole community to be destroyed before they confess the true story of why they are in the situation that they are in.Clem lies about her role in the NF and she's been working with them the whole time to get supplies, but tells you after the communities are in ruins . And with Sam she lies about stealing the supplies, telling you this right when you about to go to war with Norman

  • Sam and Clem both drag the protagonist into their war of problems. Before Michone and Javi even encounter Sam/Clem, They were just minding their own business. Then suddenly, they're fighting enemies that they never would've had in the first place if they just kept moving. Michone in her series is just out on a boat just fishing, finds sam, and is famed for stealing supplies. Similar like Michone, Javi is just getting a ride to his bro's house and Clem comes in with a tree. And later, Javi's niece is killed and have to go to war with people that could've helped him if he only arrived to NF in the first place.

  • They are both hot headed. Clem's tempter causes her to make reckless decisions: Staying at the junkyard to fightback( when you can leave with Javi) and shooting a man accidentally because she thinks that the bullets are fake. Similar, Sam chooses to stay and fight over her home even though they are outnumbered and kills Randle instead of bargaining with Norma for her brother.(determinant)

  • she's jane, she's kenny, and now she's sam?
if anything, she must be a shapeshifter!

  • Nah, the bullets were poor quality, not only did they fail when they were surrounded by walkers but they failed when she first confronted him. She also didn't lead Jav into the confrontation, he was held under threat by them and knocked out before even meeting Clem.

  • 1) The New Frontier came to Prescott because Javier stole from them and killed some if their men, not for Clementine.

2)I think you got it backward,Clementine WAS part of them but she got out meaning she's no longer part of that group and therefore has no obligation to them. She was minding her own buisness to find a car until Javier came out of nowhere, asking for HER help to go back to his family which she was in no way obliged to accept.

Wrong...so wrong...Clem's past with the NF plays no bearing on the situation that occurs....NF is angry at Javier not Clem in that situation.

There is so much straw grasping and conclusion jumping in that point I will just shake my head in silent reproach of your logic.

This is about the only thing you listed that even comes close. Clem was pissed and she did make a mistake...same with Sam. Emotions in Teenagers...who woulda thunk it. But this point and the fact they are both female are about the only similarities.

  • There is certain parallel, @wrestlingdead12!

  • This whole time was Kenny, Jane, Kenny, Jane, Kenny, Jane... now she is fucking Sam?

  • might wanna watch your wording on that last part lmao

  • Sorry, I was trying to make it similar to Kenny's quote in Season 2

I'm reading along as you set up your premise, thinking, 'Ugh... what a load of shit.' Until I get to this line, "Javi is just getting a ride to his bro's house and Clem comes in with a tree." and I bust up laughing.

Well, when you look at it that way, I guess I can't argue.

  • Great point.

  • Javi is on his way to his brother's group when Clem comes in with the tree.Assuming that the trip to Richmond goes well, he can just reveal to his brother that his wife and kids are at a junkyard and talk out their misunderstandings.

  • You assume his brother is going to bother to witness any type of judicial system...yeah right...plus by time they went to Richmond...got back ...Badger would have killed them all. You are forgetting that it takes time to get places.

  • Telltale's time logic can be tricky, Like the waiting a day for Rebecca to get well that one event should've change whether you get ambushed or not. It just seems weird that the same course of events happens.

As far as this relating to Javi's family situation, the choice of going at night or going during the day makes no difference on the faith of the family. If time is considered , why is it that we don't walk into NF at the start when choosing the day choice?

In the real world, I would have to say that it would take about a day to get to Richmond from Texas, meaning that the family would be in deep shit.

  • When did Clem admit to working with NF to get supplies? She left them, was setting traps to rob them of a truck. Met Javi. She at no point admitted to working with them in the Present. She may yet be revealed as such. But that did'nt happen in the episodes I played. Did you start from scratch. No save files or creator? If so....WTF TTG?

  • Damn, I had an entire post ready agreeing with you, then I figured out you weren't talking about the dog of season 2.

  • Who is Sam? Young chick with big boobs? Then Clem isn't her.

  • Samantha from Michonne Miniseries
