Kenny and Jane might live?

edited December 2016 in The Walking Dead

If you played season 3 when Clementine has a flashback to the season 2 ending, Jane and Kenny die, but if you go alone or go into Wellington, so if you're in Wellington, you won't drive with AJ, Kenny won't unbuckle to get his blanket, and Clem wouldn't crash, also if you don't drop Ben in the bell tower, then Kenny is in an alley with walkers from both sides, how the hell did he get out? When he is cripple on the ground, we don't see guts being ripped out of Kenny, maybe it's on purpose, but probably a graphic thing? Jade might not find a pregnancy test without Clem, also, she might not find troubles with taking care of a baby, because AJ isn't with them.

I swear to god, if Kenny dies no matte what, I will... probably just throw a fit,and I could care less about jade, she is horrible person, she hides a kid in attended in a car, rapped in blankets, so he could get heat stroke, she branded a kids name on another kid, then hung herself where children could find her, and she had another child inside of her, so please teetale, don't kill Kenny no matter what!

    This isn't a fit?

Sorry mate, I feel you, but it's done.

Also what's up with that last line?

  • Kenny and Jane might live?

Of course, like Carley/Doug/Lee/Omid live too.

  • So far it seems the only way you'd want Kenny and Jane to live would be leaving Kenny and Wellington or at the rest stop and leaving Jane at the rest stop. Other than that we are stuck with their shitty deaths.

Unless Telltale did something really weird and stupid like "it was a part flashback Clem was only dreaming about something that happened but that isnt what really happened" but that would just, you know... be really dumb, and just make killing them like that even more of a spit in the face if it was just Telltale pranking us.

  • When he is cripple on the ground, we don't see guts being ripped out of Kenny, maybe it's on purpose

Man, I'm really sorry, but there's absolutely no way he got out of that.

Not even Kenny is that lucky.

  • Yeah. I'm already thinking about using a new save-slot and then re-create the story of season 1 and 2 up to the ending, where I'd choose to stay at Wellington and say goodbye to Kenny. That way, Clem will still have his hat and we don't see him dying. At least we can imagine him to be alive, somewhere. And even if he is dead no matter what, this goodbye would be thousand times better than that random car crash.

But where's his hat at during the present? Clem sure doesn't have it on her.

  • If you choose to stay at Wellington the following happens: The place is being taken over by another group, and Clementine has to grab some items before leaving. Kenny's hat is one of the items Clementine can take with her.

  • Cracked man hole cover gives way...his back isn't broken..it just has a severly misaligned vertebrae that is pinching his nerve bundle....when he lands it shoves it back in place...he manages to get up and escape.

  • Lee carried a fucking blowtorch in his back pocket. Who knows what Clem is capable of! :P

  • I know that. But she doesn't have the hat on her when she meets Javier or at any point in the story that's in the present time. The hat and the bag she had it in is gone.

  • Nah, they're dead. It would be amazing if it was all a bad dream though, and when we go to Richmond we find AJ with Jane / Kenny...

  • I know. But neither is AJ with her.
My guess is that if Clementine chooses to take the hat with her during the attack on Wellington, Kenny's hat will be at the same place where AJ is -> which is most likely Richmond. If I remember correctly, Kenny gave Clem his hat for AJ anyway, right?

  • If Clem leaves Kenny at Wellington he would probably shoot himself.

If Clem leaves Jane at Wellington, Jane would still hang herself as she would still get pregnant by that time from Luke.

The only way to get around this horrible piece of writing is for TT to write in Episode 3 that Kenny or Jane dies a heroic way fighting off walkers to let Clem and AJ escape, though Clem feels guilty for not being able to save them so she dreams that Jane used a noose and she was helpless to save her or that she blames herself over driving a car and getting Kenny killed.

Basically when Lee is dreaming in the RV he dreams that Clem is a zombie that tries to kill him. In S2 Clem dreams that she is talking to Lee on the RV. So a dream sequence would make sense in this series.

  • Correct. If you take the hat with you i'd at least like it to show up eventually in present time.

  • Triple post turn you on or something? :P

  • Kenny wouldn't shoot himself. He's lost so much already but he's always pushed on. He even said it himself, "You don't just end it because it's hard. You stick it out and fight for the people you care about." I would think that getting Clem and AJ to Wellington would ease his mind, and he would carry out the rest of his life at peace.

  • I'd imagine that after losing his family twice that he'd find it difficult to move forward a third time. I'd imagine that he would miss Sarita, Lee, Clem, AJ, Khatja, and Duck and feel that since AJ and Clem are safe now, his mission would be complete. Though I could be wrong as Kenny is a fighter. I would never leave Kenny as I trust him and he risked his life so that Clem would be safe on numerous occasions. My ending is that the three are on a boat and living on the sea.

  • He would want to see Sarita, his family, and Lee again. That's my guess, yet I believe the canon ending should have been AJ, Kenny, and Clem were accepted into Wellington in the ending after the woman saw that Kenny would be a good asset.

  • Shit, I didn't realize that happened! My internet's been on the fritz lately, so I just reported two of them as spam.

  • I sort of imagined that he'd stick around Wellington, like a shadow. Stalking, guarding the place, making sure no one tried to invade.

Obviously New Frontier showed that it's not so :/

  • Alone players are alone for a reason. The ones that DOESN'T want Kenny or Jane will have them, and the ones that did won't? That's a terrible perspetive.

  • We don't see any guts at all.. come on Telltale where the guts at.

  • But the alleyway! No way in hell, you see all of the walkers leaning to eat something, and we sure as hell don't any Kenny, I doubt if he escaped christa wouldn't tell us... then again she couldn't see what happened even though she saw better than lee did.
