Other than a lot of people who take issue with the season so far on less focused mediums like Facebook and Twitter lol. It is in no way limited to this forums "vocal minority" who have taken issue with certain elements of the season, despite what some people would like to tell themselves lol.
Honestly It is mostly just the forums that didn't like it. If you look outside the forums most people that have played it has loved this sea… moreson so far including me. I have shockingly been loving this season. The forum always complains.(I don't have much room to talk I was like that with a couple games namely minecraft and GOT.)
Bro, its an enjoyable game. They handled episode 1 very well after getting past the anticipation. It was an introduction to the characters, we got to know Javier, we got our interactions with Clementine and all the new characters. Episode 2 was rather poor, BUT, it is the catalyst that sets up the remainder of the season. It begins the introduction of the entirety of the New Frontier group, and sets up the subtitle of the game as its remaining story. There's 3 episodes left to explore the New Frontier group, to explore Clementines former association and motivations, and to escalate the season into its main confrontation and resolution.
To be fair, I'm actually okay with the Jane flashback. I'd honestly say it's one of the darkest moments of the game thus far, and in a good … moreway. Although I can't lie, I still think they could have come up with something better, or at the very least let the flashback run for longer than 5 minutes.
It's mainly the Kenny flashback that I have a problem with. Kenny is a major character in this series. He's been a staple of the game since S1. He's arguably the third most recognizable character behind Clementine and Lee. You can't just give him such an unceremonious, 5 minute death like that and expect people to be okay with it. I mean, think about it. If you sided with Kenny throughout both seasons, and stuck with him to the bitter end, what do you get for it? A 5 minute flashback that ends with his abrupt death. All that time spent with him... out the window. And unlike Lee, his death didn't even serve a purpose, or have some deeper meaning be… [view original content]

Might be an improvement.
We need more people dedicated to complaining about people who have a problem with the season lol

(I've been waiting for an excuse to use that panel for something)

Literally.
That wasn't intentional, but I'm just going to pretend that it was
