While I respect the skill, I don't appreciate the manga/anime/overdone cartoon look a lot. Especially for something dire as The Walking Dead. A realist drawing fits better in my opinion.
But still, not that I could draw anything, it'd look like a three-legged dog.

It's not a lie, hypothetically. She should know that you will lose people, but saying it'll be alright is kinda saying like, "I'll keep you safe no matter what, even if I have to die."
When someone says it'll be alright, that's a form of comfort, even if people don't take it as such.
