Beta and the new frontier.

So recently I heard a rather interesting theory that beta is an ex member of TNF and he has the brand on his face. At first I thought it was a bit wild but than I rembered him killing one of his own men for trying to look at his face and that made me think he was definatly hiding something. What do you guys think? Could it be possible?

  • Okay who thought it was a good idea to put the brand on your face. Like, with all the body parts that you have, you choose your face.

  • I don't see why it would matter even his men did see a brand on his face. I have a tinfoil hat theory that Beta is Davidson, but the most likely situation is that he's paranoid about showing any form of weakness in front of his men and to let them see his human face would be weakness in his opinion, even though he's the most gung-ho Whisperer and the other probably won't care either way.

  • nah, I think that Beta has been with Alpha and the Whisperers for a lot longer than The New Frontier Had started Branding themselves.

  • Who is Davidson, again?

That theory actually makes sense.I would have to say that he covers his face because he just feels that his real face is showing some kind of weakness to his group.

    Who is Davidson, again?

He was the guy who founded Alexandria and was eventually exiled because he was coercing women for sex in exchange for protection, sort of like the Whisperers do. He was an ex-White House security liason, explains his physique and combat skills.

  • Oh, you're right!

Alexander Davidson, that is. I completely forgot he existed.

  • Now that Season 3 is out, there may be some New Frontier type references in the comics now, so it is possible, kinda weird that he'd want the mark to be on his Forehead tho.

  • Would be cool on his temple.

  • Hey man, I DID admit that it was just a tinfoil theory and that I believe his face obsession is just due to strength and weakness as leader.

Honestly it would be a moot point even if it was somehow Davidson. And you'd think he would have inside information about Alexandria and whatnot.

    http://walkingdead.wikia.com/wiki/Alexander_Davidson He's dead, don't overthink it.

  • Negan did. He burned two (or more!) of his men's face once.

  • Maybe he hides it because spoilers, or/and The Whisperers had an encounter with TNF and he doesn't want anyone else to know? That would also add plot to S3.

  • TV Glenn was also dead, but plot twist, he wasn't.

Well, in comics Eugene is talking to Stephanie via radio and she said she's from Ohio and her community as well. Guess what is in Ohio...Wellington. So, it's possible that Eugene is communicating with Wellington or group that attacked Wellington in Clem's flashback which could be The New Frontier (not confirmed, but the guy that shoots at Clem had some sort of a tattoo or brand on his hand which may be TNF brand).

  • That was obvious, you ever saw guts coming out of someone's chest?

  • It's okay, I actually wish Beta were Davidson. It would've given the character a depth that he's never gonna get.

Have you ever seen guts coming out from someone's body?

That was obvious, you ever saw guts coming out of someone's chest?

  • Yes, but not from where your heart is supposed to be, and it was totally obvious that those guts where Nicholas' because of that.

  • Well yeah.

  • So, Glenn was not dead (at the time), Davidson is.

    Well yeah.
