Conrad's plan becomes pretty useless when we find out that ***** is the leader of NF.
Now that I really think about it... Conrad's plan could have been pretty useful, if David was NOT the leader of NF. He's gonna give medical help and some supplies to our group anyway. Sure, he might be an asshole or do some stupid shit, but... Kate's gonna be alright.

I could see Conrad pulling this right there at the gate and David being the one to take him out before he does anything.

Ugh. Telltale's schtick in writing is a bit predictable. Conrad dies in an irrelevant fashion, David somehow starts thinking Javier is getting it on for Kate as she blames Marianas death on him etc
Yup I honestly think David will not tolerate Conrad at all and will kill him in some brutal fashion.
I bet you he does so after he learns Conrad held Gabe at Conrad, probably after the inevitable argument between him and Javi of Mariana's death so he has an excuse to 'show Javi how to really protect his family' or something.
Perfect episode - 10/10 would play again.

Well we didn't know he was the leader at that point and it was a huge gamble either way. Personally I was 100% against Conrad's plan but I wasn't willing to kill him.

What is already pissing me off is that this is going to happen regardless of our choices.
Didn't hold her hand in the flashback? Didn't flirt with her in the car? Never kissed her? Too bad, David thinks you're bangin her because PLOT. Ugh. I can already see it now.
Well, Kate is going to die, regardless of any medical attention she receives. I,however, did not agree to Conrad's plan and shot him. Clementine may not have been completely truthful about why she left the NF, but she was helpful in other capacities and seemed to care about Javi's well-being.
As soon as Conrad took Gabe hostage there was no way that I was siding with him.
Regardless of whether or not you hold her hand in the flashback or flirt with her in the car...or kiss Kate when given the option.....the two were together for at least 2 years w/o David. Even in the flashback as well as in the present, there was sexual tension between Javi and Kate. One of the dialogue options that Javi can say to Kate is about pulling over for a quickie. If you think they weren't f*c king on a semi-regular basis that's just naïve.
The way he acts when she says she needs to get laid leads us all to believe they haven't done anything major yet. The look on his face says he hasn't seen a woman naked in years haha.
Saying she needs to get laid doesn't mean that they haven't had sex...it may just mean that they haven't done it for some time. Cuz I don't think Javi would make a joke about pulling over if they've never done anything before...at least once.

Well, she did stay to help fight off the bandits at the junkyard. And at least in my playthrough it seemed as though she came to trust him to an extent. They weren't super tight, but maybe it was because every chance I got I sided with Clementine.
That's why I did all of those for the hell of it because I knew David would and will think the same of Javier. He's going to say something about just how Kate and Javier are close friends because they've been surviving together for a while and become angry over it.
It definitely seems like she trust Javier, otherwise she would have never told him about her being New Frontier, if anything, he has shown himself as reliable and useful, and for that alone, Clem should want to keep him around, and if you keep someone around in this world, you have to trust them, as evident by Clem not wanting to give Javier a gun at the start, because she would have to watch 2 sides.
But is it just me, or is the dialogue choice where "Clementine will remember that" in the tunnel super vague? the selection is either "I shouldnt have trusted you", "How do I know I can trust you" and "Just stop talking", all which seem rather negative, but if you chose "Just stop talking", Javier says "Well, I'm sure you had your reasons", which seems like the most trusting answer, but I dunno

Well, it makes sense that David would think that. Kate's a pretty woman, and David could spot that Javier and Kate had some sexual tension during that flashback. He's been gone for two years, they both think he's dead. It's pretty reasonable to think that they were screwing each other.

I didn't let him live. But I bet if you did I can imagine him pulling something like that. Maybe even going on to try and kill Javier's brother and his men just because he's out for blood. This is why I had to put him out for good, he gave me an opportunity to do that and I took it.
Could happen. I only kissed her once but that's it. I feel like I shouldn't but it was just something I wanted to see once. Other times I didn't try flirting with her too much since it was weird because she was his sister in law. She's also a bit of a slut if you asked me.
Well it was pretty useless anyway-
