Is AJ Dead?

 First of all,  everyone wonders "Wheres AJ? What happened to him?"

Well, its possible he could be dead. In Clem's second flashback with Ava, you can see and hear AJ cough. This may not mean anything, but its possible he got sick and died.
On the other hand, AJ could be alive. Which could explain the revenge plot for Clem. Or it could mean that The New Frontier could've killed him, but I think that is unlikely.
