What songs remind you of The Walking Dead and its characters?
Inspired by the thread posted by @Yo-da-Man about the season 2 credit songs. sniff sniff I miss them so much. #RIPCreditSongs
Besides the songs already featured in the game, I'd say that My Silver Lining by First Aid Kit (featured in Tales from the Borderlands) reminds me of TWD and perfectly describes the atmosphere of it.

you made me tear up with these songs lol
Amazing songs, they fit really well.
The Walking Dead: A New Frontier - Episode 5: "From the Gallows" Credits Song:
Kinda reminds me of Kenny. He had it rough. The kiss me again part is something I'd imagine between him & Sarita. He was a broken man.
Lyrics:
You got me where you want me,
but I ain't all there
My head is gone, my brain is fried,
and I'm standing right here
You can touch me if you want to, oh
I don't really care,
but I have ruined everything that I ever loved
I guess we have to play
the cards we've been dealt
And I guess I got nothing,
but whatever happens happens...
'cause my life is falling apart,
Or is it getting better? I don't know.
Well you can kiss me again if you want,
I don't mind
Well you can kiss me again if you want,
oh that'd be fine
Wyatt and Eddie:
I Got You
by Sonny and Cheri
the reason is because of the comical nature of the two and the song matches the bro-ness that they share in the most comical way as possible.
Clem:
Do You Know Where Your Children Are?
by Micheal Jackson
The song pretty much is about a 12 year old girl who is out in the streets and is in the worst conditions: starving, scared, and is in trouble.
I'm not sure if I have a song for someone in particular, but I'll always love this one from the soundtrack
I love that song. It was a perfect outro to season 1. I think that songs in the folk genre fit TWD series very well; as it kinds of gives an eerie and somewhat grim atmosphere while lifting you up at the same time, making it bittersweet just like the games are.
I hope that Telltale will give the rest of the New Frontier episodes credit songs too since I was disappointed by the lack of credit songs in the first two episodes.
I agree It gives me goosebumps every time I listen to it. The song really highlights the desperation and helplessness of the characters in the game, especially with the "Take us back, take us back" line in the chorus.
I hope so too. Maybe Telltale are running out of good songs lol or they're just lazy.
this one reminds me of luke, for obvious reasons. :P

Just Clem (she's growing into this):

God, I love these kind of threads.
Clementine:
I posted this on the ending credit song thread, but I think it fits Clemmy well, especially after what we've seen in Season 3 of her being a drifter:

Gabe....heheh:
Lmao at Carl Poppa!
Carl Poppa! Love it!
For Lee and Clem, obviously Light, by Sleeping at Last. Maybe Uneven Odds (also by SAT). I don't know for the rest.
...yeeeah....
Ooh Ooh! I remember there being a thread like this a while back and I briefly considered doing another thread along the lines. Thanks for doing this!
With that said, here are some in-universe themes:
In the Water=Nick and maybe Luke
In the Pines=Carver(seriously, for as one-note as he ended up being, I thought this instrumental should've been his theme song)
Remember Me=Alvin and maybe Kenny
Salty Seas=Sarah(obviously)
Gun in my hand=Michonne(obviously; not gonna lie, don't watch the show, but this song is awesome )
I plan on posting some outside examples here later, some of which might be a bit obvious
No problem!
I agree with all of your in-universe themes. The credit songs just kill me. Sarah..
I love Gun In My Hand. Michonne has some great music; well, pretty much every Telltale game does.
the ost from original Walking Dead S1, called One Choice
Human by Christina Perri reminds me Clem.
The song Shaved Women by Crass should have played during Clem's flashback in episode 2.
Also, I think Spanish Sahara from the Life Is Strange soundtrack fits TWD.
How could I forget Oh My Darling, Clementine?
I think this song captures the sadness that we and the characters feel in the game.
Safe and Sound by Taylor Swift and The Civil Wars reminds me of Clem.
This great song reminds me of Clem as well.
Clementine:
idk
what ticks me off is imma eventually hear a real good one and not be able to find this thread
So I made a playlist with most of the songs featured in this thread (about 9 songs that were posted aren't on Spotify so I couldn't include them). Listen to this playlist and feel all of the emotions (mainly sadness).
Spotify Playlist
This song was in 400 Days during Russell's story.
This song was featured in Michonne. Thank you Telltale for making me a fan of First Aid Kit.
For some reason, this song reminds me of Clem and some other characters from the game, even if some of the lyrics don't directly relate to the universe of TWD. It gives an eerie and hopeless feeling.
One of the achievements in season 2 episode 3 is titled "Not In Nottingham" after this great song from a classic movie. It was a nice nod to the movie, as Carver's camp was like Nottingham.
I suppose here would be a good place to ask this: What are each of the character' instrument(s)?
Kenny has to be the guitar player.
Kenny's Song
Did I mention how much I love music threads?
Kenny
Clementine
Lee
Jane
Luke
Javier
Whenever this is on radio I can't help but to think about Clem and AJ
I think Luke would be the drummer, just because he's a regular Casanova.
Already posted this in another thread but fuck it
I've became addicted to this song the past few days.
