I don't know on that point about "change", I accept change to, but on a slow path, not so fast, I even think it was the right time for Kenny and jane to go, but not lee, but since it made sense for lee to go because he got bitten, so that made sense for Clem to kill him, now since she has got AJ as well, it just wouldn't make sense for TT to end her life after season three.
Of course Clem is a major reason for lots of people to stay with TWD. But there is no trust that Telltale can surprise us again with entirely new characters. They did it once with Lee and Clem, why are people so afraid of new things?
It's not about the fact THAT Kenny and Jane died. It's about HOW they died. Lee had a perfect, dramatic ending with lots of build-up. Kenny and Jane were killed off as if Telltale does not care about their own characters at all.
If you kill off important characters, at least do it in a meaningful, well-written way. Not as insults to beloved characters and slaps to the faces of their fans.
It's not an insult to Kenny or jane, that was just another step in Clem life that she has to move on and can't hold on to people like that t… moreo survive in world full of zombies, everyone in the community should've known that Kenny wasn't going to last at all, he was already battered and weak in comparison to Clem, Jane was vulnerable already because of her loss of her lil sis, Clem had her head screwed on throughout, that's why she has lasted this long.
That's totally understandable, I know what you mean, ending their lives like that was not cool at all, it might of been one those ones where they might have been very busy since they were both working on batman TT and TWD TT new frontier at the same time, it may have been the reason, honestly if it was because of that then they should have delayed new frontier for 2017.

I'm sorry man, I wasn't trying to make it seem like I was trying to put you out there. I didn't like the second seasons endings and I'm not a fan of ending it on that note. I'm not meaning to attack you as a person or a fan or anything like that.
Did i say that the zombies had to be vanquished and everyone lived happily ever after? No i didn't. If she leaves with Kenny? It'd be okay t… moreo assume that wherever they went , they went together and were okay. If you stayed with Jane? It would be okay to assume that they started a community at Howes. At Wellington? It's okay to imagine that Clem stayed there in relative peace.
I don't like The Walking Dead comic/tv show and i don't like Game of Thrones tv show/books. Thanks, i'll pass. I refuse to hold onto a single video game character like a parent who refuses to wean their child off of their bottle.
hey man, I think that the other person is suggesting you to be optimistic about the game, even tho he got a bit carried away.
I understand that you liked S2 ending and would've preferred it to be the end, but at least try to give this game a chance instead of always being negative about it. It may happen that you may end up loving this game, but that won't happen unless you start accepting certain things and not this-
Yes. From what we've seen so far I'm assuming her story ended in Season 2.
So you won't enjoy it unless you keep an open mind about it and stop bitching (and at this point I'm positive that your opinion is clear to all people). So just try to look above the game's flaws (example- bad flashbacks) and you may really enjoy it.
Nope, if (most likely) season 4 comes, Clementine should be the only playable protagonist, as long as Telltale puts good effort into it, her story can continue for a long time.

No, I think Telltale should try and build up to something new and then forget this failed attempt at diverting the established narrative.
I like Javier as much as the next guy, but many of us signed up to see the WD world through the eyes of Clementine and the narrative following her, that will never feel like it's the case when she's tag-along to Javier.
It should have ended in the 2nd.
It's painful to watch how she's dragged throw franchise and it'll become more and more ridiculous. The same happened with Jack Slater.
hey why are you being so rude. You can have your opinion and of course you can post whatever you like but it's just that your constant bitching won't change anything. You need to accept some things whether you want to or not and that's what I meant.
And also I'm sorry, I triggered you (by judging you on basis of reading your posts and coming to a conclusion that is fairly obvious to anyone who reads your posts). So I apologize and please oh Mr optimist (apparently) find it in your heart to forgive me (and I'd be grateful if u please don't bother replying because from next time, I won't bother too).
I think it would be cool to have Season 4 focus on Clem again, and have it focus on her and AJ (depending on where A New Frontier ends of course), it would be interesting, as it would open up dillemmas such as, do you trust people, or protect AJ, just like the flashback in Episode 2 in A New Frontier

That would be kind of cool, if they did a role reversal, so you play as Clem in season 4, so you get the opposite effect of this season, as I feel like Javier is better suited as a secondary character than Clem, as he is more like Kenny imo, in that he has a family, and has preestablished connections, so he would have been better off as a secondary than Clem, who we know the background of, is very different depending on peoples season 2, and most of all, people care about her on more than a roleplaying level, which means that choices as Javier is mostly biased
Yeah that would be fine. Or one Episode as Javier, one episode as Clementine. Like the show follows some people for one episode, and the next it follows a different set of people of the same group, which gives deeper narrative.
TTG has so much potential now to expand upon TWD. With Clementine and Javier as the "starting" point so to speak.

No problem. Honestly I'm just pissed off on how this forum shifted after S2 finale, I can't stand it anymore... "Clam's underdevelopment's kawaii, S3's great yer just stupid, there's nothing wrong nothing, nothing is wrong." There's a limit to my patience...
Maybe we should just pack our bags and move into the other TWD forum.
It wouldn't make it fun if TT kept on killing off characters every single season the less and less people would play because it would be the same things happing over and over again

No. If Clementine will die, I will still play it though, but it wouldn't be as fun as having her around anymore. To that, I would miss her really much in the following games. I'm attached to her and all my decisions were about to protect her, because I really like this girl that used to be a little sweetheart, who turned into a pretty, hardcore and somehow mean (I love it) teenager and hopefully later woman. So atleast let her turn into an adult, I'm so curious what she will look like then.
That's like saying the comics isn't Rick Grimes' story. Rick dies and the only hope of continuing the comics is his son, Carl. Telltales The Walking Dead IS Clems story and in this one, there is no Carl Grimes.
I said it many times before. Telltale's The Walking Dead is NOT Clementine's story. It doesn't matter if thousands of people imagine it to b… moree so, it just isn't. And the series wouldn't need a reboot without Clem. They can just continue it without her, everyone else is already dead anyway.

No, I think there's still a ton left to do with a character that has grown up in the apocalypse and having at least one consistent character throughout these games ups the stakes and our degree of investment. Starting over every time with a new person or group simply doesn't pack the same punch. There are plenty of stories that can be told in this world through spin-offs or even through weaving them with Clementine's story, but I think a lot of people (like me) clearly want Clementine to remain a fixture in the main narrative.
They've already put all this work into Clem and I don't see the point of trying to push her out now. She's the series' biggest asset, and they should stick with paying that off, imo.
I personally think a game after A New Frontier, playing as Clem as 15/16, protecting AJ would be neat, it wouldnt even be a retelling of season 1, as AJ wouldnt be nearly as aware as Clem was, it would be more along the lines of how far are you willing to go to protect him, will you trust these people to help you protect him, or will they betray you? I think having to protect a kid even younger than Clem in season 1 could create some interesting dynamics

No. They didn't finish her story in S1 and now its too late. She needs a compete journey. From child, to teen to at least young adult. She needs to have her personal nemesis, her greatest challenge yet that she needs to overcome using everything she has learned. You can't just have us prepare a child for the dangerous world for 2 seasons, care for her for 2 seasons and then just say to us "She ok, she now lives with X, in place Y, doesn't get in much trouble and lives just peachy from here on out" or that she died at which point what was the point in us teaching her, protecting her?
No matter how much you want new characters with new stories Clementine is the Rick Grimes of TTG TWD. Ricks story in comics only now is at the point where you can feel that its finished, that it is "complete" that this is the point where you can kill him or put him on the side lines safely, give other characters the spotlight and even the most die hard Rick fan will be okay with it. Clementines story is far from finished.
I definitely want to see Clem becoming an adult, while AJ starts getting closer to the point where Season 1 picked off with Clem (agewise), I think it was kind of a wasted opportunity to not have a game about Clem protecting AJ as an Infant/Toddler, as it would bring interesting new points to consider, such as whether or not you can trust certain people, and whether or not they can be let alone with AJ, and having to chose between protecting him, (like in the second Flashback in A New Frontier), or trusting people as to them not being mistrusting of you, and stuff like chosing whether to feed yourself to keep your strength up so you can survive, or feed AJ because he needs food

I totally forgot about AJ. How will someone who has born and grown in ZA react to the world? The world will be normal for him because its all he has ever known. And what is with his lack of speech? How will that turn out? Yeah, there is still so much to tell about Clem and AJ. Doubt they will just drop them next season.
What else are they going to do next season if not continue Clem & Javi or only Clem & AJ? Give us new characters again? New group that again goes through the whole thing that we experienced with previous ones? That won't work so late in the timeline. Start from the first days of ZA and again experience how people turn on each other? Whats the point.

fuck no. For me its ''No Clem = No twdg''
She might die, but I don't think it'll be soon. Probably in the end of this season.

I agree
I hope Clementine's story continues on for as long as Telltale continue to make The Walking Dead.
I would also like to see Jarvia survive beyond S3 and perhaps have him & Clem as the protag and deuteragonist going forward.

I'd only be happy if this franchise ends up like Until Dawn, with all the characters being determinant, yes, even Clementine.
Clem shouldn't be determinant
Ok, how do YOU want to end it?
With a big ass cliffhanger and Javier and Clem being the main characters in Season 4.
If it has a shitty ending like TWD Season 6 Show, I'd be super fucking pissed.
Maybe Javier and Clem get their heads bashed in.
...
I hate this forum now.
It depends on S3 ending. If it ends with Clementine dying, I don't want season 4 with her being a walker.

Nah the reddit one's barely alive... I meant "The Other TWD Forum".
It wouldn't make it fun if TT kept on killing off characters every single season the less and less people would play because it would be the same things happing over and over again
This is already happening. No one from Season One and Two is alive anymore, except for Clem. That itself is already a shame.
