Clementines story probably should have ended after season one. Lee was the real star of those series of games. TTG could have done something groundbreaking with a having female child protagonist in a apocalyptic setting, but they didn't take advantage. She's a fan favorite, but has become sentimental anchor that I feel like ttg has to work around now.
Meh, I do think the Wellington ending was a fitting end to Clem's story. If they didn't bring her back for season 3, I would've been upset but I would've understood.
However, since they did bring her back for season 3, I'd prefer if they keep Clementine around for season 4 as well, should it happen. Even if she's not always the main character, she's been a pretty important character to the series since day 1, and it would suck to see her go.
No not at all, she's still the central character of the Telltale TWD franchise. I speculated this years back but I already have a feeling Season Four will focus on her again and she'll protect AJ in the same way Lee protected her in Season One. Basically, I can imagine it coming around full-circle.
Plus Season Three Clem is the best version of her yet with just how badass-ified she became, will like to see how she changes in the coming years as it's pretty awesome seeing someone grow up in the apocalypse.
That would be kind of cool, if they did a role reversal, so you play as Clem in season 4, so you get the opposite effect of this season, as … moreI feel like Javier is better suited as a secondary character than Clem, as he is more like Kenny imo, in that he has a family, and has preestablished connections, so he would have been better off as a secondary than Clem, who we know the background of, is very different depending on peoples season 2, and most of all, people care about her on more than a roleplaying level, which means that choices as Javier is mostly biased
TWD needs to end or focus on someone else's story. A great hero/vilain is good for a limited time. After a while they cause fatigue to the viewer Think about Matrix/Agent Smith, Heroes/Sylar. Star Trek has the same heroes but from an alternate timeline. Same thing for X-Men.
I think Clem's story will end this season... She'll part ways with Javi and the remaining members of his family and settle down somewhere that is at least currently secure then with AJ. Nowhere is safe in a zombie apocalypse but we'll be left with a feeling that things are looking up for her and that she'll survive and overcome everything.
It would be a fine end to a trilogy if we were actually playing her. Most players wouldn't want her story to end if they're not the ones closing the chapter.
Telltale has clearly put themselves in a corner with her and the best they can do is give her a graceful migration to the comic and move on.
I was under the impression that they liked to work with new and different concepts anyway.
to megaodg33 i agree exactly in the comics it was rick story to begin with it began and should
end with rick but its not so the only conclusion it end with his son but in the game it started with
clem it should end with clem
That's like saying the comics isn't Rick Grimes' story. Rick dies and the only hope of continuing the comics is his son, Carl. Telltales The Walking Dead IS Clems story and in this one, there is no Carl Grimes.
wrong domi_nique you are wrong not everyone from season 1and 2 was gone we cant confirm that cause
1 we dont know what happend to Lilly
2 they didnt say what happened to Molly except thats just left to our imagination cause telltale

3 we dont know about christa yet she was left unknown my thought was she got shot and killed but
we cant confirm anything yet

Clem and AJ will ride off into the sunset.

No. Clementines story is far from over.
Your story either ends great or goes on long enough to see itself becoming tiring.

True but am not tired yet and I can't see a great ending happening in this season. I do wish some other characters would have lasted longer too.
