I've seen this during season 1, I've seen this during season 2, and unfortunately I am seeing it again.
Clementine will not die. She is the main character. She wont die. Mely Hutch herself said she is the Daryl of the game. You have nothing to worry about.

Compared to now? Quiet. It was quiet. Lots of simple threads. Most didn't get many replies. Lots of Carley/Doug threads. Staff commented a lot more back then. People wondering if there would be another season. I remember waiting threads for episodes had maybe a couple hundred comments by the time the episode released, where as now threads have a couple thousand. It's a lot more crowded.

Wait what. In season(or not season 3) Clem looks like puppet, but not a central person. 1-2 min gameplay, flashback not change this game, i'm realy disappointed. I wish playable Clem 100% or more -_-
Sesaon 3 is mostly the fans fault. Right after season 2 people started posting that they were sick of playing as Clem . That they wanted to play as a new character. That's what they got . Telltale listens to it's fanbase sometimes. And this is what happens .

Well actually I could see that as the writers of FFXV...Hey lets make a Boy band...dress them in leather and bore the piss out of people for 20 hours before anything good happens.
Meli: "....yeaaahh... they did that, uh, well there was so much rewriting these episodes, where, I didn't know what was going to be left in … morethem and what wasn't. They were going in a totally different direction with episode--
Meli: (About E3)* "I don't know what's gonna happen in the next episode, we barely started recording it"*
Meli:* "Yeah I have recorded one scene thus far but we went into the studio and they said "this will probably get totally rewritten, but were gonna go ahead and record this anyways*
Meli: (Talking about E3 release date) "My guess is it will release in March, at the earliest. Maybe April." I hope so. That way they can fix it.
I found leaked security footage from Telltale

The point is there is no main reason. Your original post acts like the Kenny and Jane flashbacks were the main reason we're complaining. There were a lot of things wrong with the episodes and that's why people are complaining. Not to mention the flaws are nothing new and have been present since season 2, now they've just become painfully obvious.
I'm not going to comment these numerous flaws. If you want to know what they are just look for an already existing thread that lists them. Plenty of these threads exist.
I'd say there is one main reason, and it's that telltale barely listens to and interacts with their fanbase. That's the driving cause behind most of these issues.

That post actually sums up my feelings on why season 3 is not nearly as good as it could have been, one of the most interesting and immersing things about this series, was following Clems development and growth, and the end of season 2 had so much potential to continue down that path.
For the first time in her life, Clem had to make a concious choice, about sacrificing someone, she could not stand down, which is a big turning point for her character, especially if you didnt shoot Lee in season 1, there is so much potential in following her as she grows up in the apocalypse, and playing as an adult is just plain boring after Lee.
Season 2 very much gave the feeling of helplessness, when you get locked in the shed at the cabin, there was nothing you could do, because youre just a child, you have no strength or authority to go against their decision. And when dealing with that walker in the shed, Clem has to hit it like 5 times, because she is weak compared to the adults due to being a child, that makes the walkers so much more of a threat. Being a child also affects all the decisions you make, can you trust these people? if they are not trustworthy, there wont be any way for you to escape, theyre stronger than you.
The difference is obvious in A New Frontier, when Javier just smashes zombies at head height, where Clem kicks them down and stabs them, she doesnt have the height or strength to kill them straight up, she has to strategize, that shit is what made season 2 so great to me, and season 3 so mediocre, I just want to follow Clem through the apocalypse

Eh...?
Views on Clementine being a protagonist were, at worst, mixed.
This paragraph actually sums up, fairly accurately, a lot of people's reactions to ANF recently to the point that it's kind of scary:
What's the point of seeping back down to the drawing board and starting from scratch? It'd feel like a spin-off game if all previous development was rendered irrelevant and Telltale instead started up a new story. I'd rather Clementine die in Season 2 and that be it over with than get thrown into an entirely different group that we all know's going to end up dead anyway. Attachment would be extremely difficult without Clem being the anchor holding it all in place.

The shed scene really set the tone of S2 for me, had that been Lee it wouldn't have been nearly as much of a struggle. Playing as her was a unique experience, you were still making decisions because its a game but still, playing as a child in a strange group, you're not really knowing what to expect because this is their group, and they're taking you in. I do think TT may have gave a bit too much power to Clementine, but that's my only complaint.
It would have been really cool though, going from being mindful of what we did in S1 and what we teach her, to actually surviving as her over the years. Seeing first hand how she improves, becomes more capable, how the decisions we make change as we grow with her. That's actually a pretty unique path to take for a game, or at least any series I've played.
But, I mean, Javier is unique too, I guess. It's not often in an RPG that you get to play as a physically fit male in his prime who happens to be a natural leader strangers flock to and follow. That almost never happens in games.

It is so funny but so true and it makes me so angry.

I don't think she really said anything too bad. Most of it was just agreeing with common criticisms of ANF.
That's not why fans are upset.
Ok, this year started badly kind of.
Well actually I could see that as the writers of FFXV...Hey lets make a Boy band...dress them in leather and bore the piss out of people for 20 hours before anything good happens.
They didn't bore me for one second:)
Lucky you...I was so bored...I bought a PS4 pro for that and meh.
... all of the fans are at fault?
I can't take this place seriously any longer
Jane & Kenny? Or the episodes being too short ? Yeah I know.
I think all of this controversy is actually a Prank to tease Telltale's new project: 'Pranksters - The Telltale Series'.
You heard it here first!
That's only some of the reasons why they're upset, but okay.
must have
If you haven't gotten the notion by now that I don't care then that's concerning.
You forgot to capitalize the m.
EDIT: Ah shit I forgot punctuation.
Thank you. I mean, it's a forum, not a big deal.
While we're at it, let's just point out that they forgot all proper punctuation and failed to write a complete sentence. Because that's fun.
Telltale: Guys, you have to understand that we work so hard on our games.
Me:
Ok. Then give me the main reason.
Iconic

Oh, well, technically yes. I was talking more specifically about the actual episode. What you said is right under any circumstances, really.
Let's leave them and make a secret second forum in secrecy using nothing but secret secrecy
inb4 Clementine ends the season with the dreaded "unknown" status because Telltale don't have the balls to kill her off for real
I'm sorry for you and your money
When i see people who say: "40 min episode cool" " We not need Clementine" "Javi is a cool, brave and strong"
If that true, then purchase any telltale product will be "unknown" status too, for me and many people xD

So am I the only one who wonders if when Meli Hutch shags someone...she uses one of her voices? I know I would.
Shag as in stab or as in pork?
as in screw, fuck, do the deed, you know..making it? And yes...pork.
